Is all of that gain coming from the Matamp? I'd always assumed that GT2's gain channel would be a GT-1 sound, but this sounds like a Hiwatt and Marshall JMP had a baby. That's an INCREDIBLE sound. Also, I love my WGS 55hz in my 6x12.
Hard to tell what the speaker sounds like because a SM57 was used to mic it! The SM57 is a HIGHLY colored mic. To give a better estimation of what the SPEAKER actually sounds like, a better mic choice would be a Sennheiser e935, if using a dynamic mic. Otherwise, a great condenser mic choice with very little coloration would be to use an AKG C1000S. Both have a MUCH flatter response than a SM57!
It's what we have. We use it because it's a microphone for which most people have a reference point. Your feedback is appreciated, however, and will be taken into consideration.
Wondering about a reaper/invader 2x12. How they'd compliment each other.

@@WarehouseSpeakers Yes, I appreciate your position. Like you say, the SM57 IS a common reference.
Whatever. The reaper 55hz is badass and best when bass is cranked
Bring it back to regular production
