  • Managing many synths during a Live performance can be challenging. Not with Camelot. Camelot is a live performance management system that has special integration with Hardware instruments and synths.
    You do not need to do MIDI Programming or know the presets Program Change of your Studiologic Numa Compact 2X. Just select the presets from a map and will be recalled on your Songs. You can also layer your Numa Compact 2X with any other instrument including the virtual instruments! You can use the USB audio card to playback the computer audio without the need for a soundcard and a mixer. With Camelot, you can control in real-time the parts level and also manage the extra parts on channels 3 and 4!

    Great video!! Thanks!! Please, is it possible to select any of the 16 MIDI channels for to the MIDI out or the USB out, or can I only channels1 and 2?! Thanks in advance!

      You should be able to use any out channel if you work in single mode. I do not have the instrument right now , but if you check the global settings you should find it. the point is using a global channel instead of the midi controller parts.

    Any plans on making it compatible with the kurzweil pc3le line? Cheers capo!

      Rene Gonzalez we are working hard to support as many keyboards, workstations and synths as we can. Kurzweil PC3 line is on our wishlist. We cannot say when we will work on it, yet

    So how did you connect the studiologic sl88? Does it automatically recognize the midi keyboard?

    • @AudioModeling
      @AudioModeling  2 роки тому

      Just connect the SL88 to iPad via USB through a Camera Connection Kit, or directly into a USB port of a Mac or Windows PC. SL88 is MIDI-over-USB Class Compliant, so any operating system recognize the USB/MIDI port automatically. Camelot shows the ports that the operating system "sees", including USB/MIDI Class Compliant ports.
      Of course SL88 is just a controller, so Camelot allows you to forward the SL88 MIDI messages to plugins and hardware synths.

    Hi! :) Can U setting in Camelot a Comapct 2x faders to adjust the volumes of the layers?
    In a live music a mouse is not a valid option for control... :)

      Of course, you can map any slider that sends MIDI CC messages to control the level of Layers, Items, Scenes, Songs … just have a look at Settings - Remote Control - MIDI - From/By

    Awesome! Is Omnisphere supported with Numa Compact 2X?

    • @AudioModeling
      @AudioModeling  2 роки тому

      Omnisphere is just a plugin. Any MIDI controller can play Omnisphere, of course the Numa Compact 2X can.

    I'm having a problem with this exact setup: When I raise the octave of the lower part or lower the octave of the upper part I can't play the middle ranges?

    • @AudioModeling

      Janus Novak on the NC2X you should save a Program with no split, set it to Local Off, and let Camelot manage the splits and overlaps.

    • @janusnovak
      @janusnovak 3 роки тому

      @@AudioModeling I think it is a bug though... It goes away when I restart the NC2x. I also really want the ocatve shifts to be stored in the NC2x programs, because then my patches also work without Camelot.

    • @AudioModeling
      @AudioModeling  3 роки тому

      Janus Novak Camelot has not been designed to save anything on the device. It is not an Editor. You should use the proper Editor provided by the device vendor or act directly on the device to make permanent changes.

    Hi #Audiomodeling. May you partnership with #Studiologic to create a Numa Compact/2X Software Editor?. Been waiting for one for a year and half now. Of course with an intuitive, user friendly, giging ready UI and functions not readily available on the keyboard itself. This device looks good, but it seems a bit tricky and menu-diving to use. Thanks

    • @AudioModeling
      @AudioModeling  3 роки тому +2

      We are already partnering with Studiologic! We will forward your request to the team. Best!

      @@AudioModeling Terrific news!. I did contact the #Studiologic team a couple of weeks ago. I've got a nice reply from them, but not a word about the Numa Compac/2X editor. Really odd, because both Sledge and SL do have their own editors. Maybe you can hurry up things #Audiomodeling. Thanks! =)

    Avete fatto un update? Esiste in camelot una traccia tempo e metrica dove posso creare il metronomo e cambiare la metrica durante una canzone? É L implementazione di un multitraccia? Con diverse uscite per mandare backing vocals o traccie tastiera che non si possono suonare dal vivo visto che in una canzone di tastiere ce ne posssono essere tantissime?
    Per suonare live in gruppo queste opzioni sono essenziali e fondamentali..... voglio comprare questo software perché mi sembra ottimo !!ma senza queste opzioni basiche che hanno tutte le daw ed i virtual instrument host in commercio personalmente a cosa può servire in un live?( senza offesa ovviamente)
    Io per il momento uso Music Os della opnelabs!! Obsoleto ma fa tutto quello ha camelot é anche di più !!!!
    Mi Auguro che facciate qualche update Inserendo queste cose

      Ciao M O OD / Ministry Of Ordinary Decay, scusa il ritardo nella risposta. Nella versione 1.x di Camelot in ogni Scena puoi definire la Time Signature e i BPM di quella Scena. Cambiando scena potrai quindi cambiare Time Signature e BPM. Tutti i plugin e arpeggiatori collegati alla scena cambieranno quindi il loro BPM di conseguenza; in aggiunta è possibile inviare il metronomo al batterista su canale separato.
      Per quanto riguarda le backing tracks (mutli-traccia con uscite separate) e la Timeline, quella è disponibile nella versione 2.0, che attualmente è in Beta. La Timeline non è solo backing tracks, ma è possibile anche automatizzare il cambio scena di tutti gli strumenti hardware e software connessi, oltre che degli spartiti PDF o PNG allegati.
      Se sei interessato alla versione 2.0 Beta, puoi aderire al Beta Testing qui: camelotpro.com .
      Saluti!

      Audio Modeling grazieeeee per la vostra risposta.... non sapevo dell esistenza di una versione 2.0 beta... è propio tutto quello che speravo potesse fare il vostro software ( ed anche di più) sono sempre più invogliato a comprare Camelot!!! Vado subito a vedere il link... non vedo l’ora di vedere video tutorial sulla nuova versione....il software che uso al momento va bene anche se è obsoleto, però ho una gran voglia di suonare con Camelot!!! So che non è facile esaudire tutti i desideri di un tastierista, ma secondo me siete sulla strada giusta per sfornare il miglior programma in commercio!!! Sicuro che farò parte della lista dei vostri clienti più accaniti 😂😂
      Un saluto e ancora grazie 🙏
