  • Here Simone - developer at Audio Modeling is showing how to setup his Roland JUNO-DS to play a famous organ intro in combination with a virtual instrument plugin.
Roland JUNO-DS is supported and Simone can select the presets directly from Camelot without the need to know the MIDI messages. Camelot hosts also GSi VB3 II Organ Plugin.
Camelot runs on macOS, Windows and iOS (iPad)

Wow, great intro for me to Camelot Pro. I am using Modx7+ but am sure it will work the same way!❤

Ciao Simone... what a beautiful software !!... Congrats.... I have a question, what are the specs of the computer used for the demo?? I'm asking because I couldn't help to notice how the CPU usage meter jumped from practically zero to more than 1/3 as soon as you loaded the VB3... is it that CPU demanding?? or you guys need to do some VST handling optimization??. Best of luck !!

Great software! This is definitely mainstage for me.
How can I assign multiple midi devices?

Nobody ever explains what Camelot is. The vids on it show it does this or that but no explanation or description of what it is for. I watched a few and maybe we are supposed to know. I mean one said it’s a plugin but as I watched another it seemed to be more like a daw and used or exploited other plugins, is it something that is used to create scenes for live use? I don’t get it.

Is it possible to add an effect vst to the audio chain?

Not yet, but it will be possible in the next release. Hold on :-)

What would be, if possible, the best way to set up a layer/split keyboard range using 2 layers both from the same hardware instrument?

@@AudioModeling life saver! Thank you so much, this has sped up my workflow. I consider my trial over and I'll be purchasing the Pro version :)

Hello! Just bought Camelot today :) I want to use the IK Multimedia Hammond B-X3.. Can I make one layer for both right AND left hand? The Hammond app "support" it but I see no way to do this in Camelot?
P.S: Will you do a instrument pre-setup for the Hammond app soon please?
    Best regards

ChokDK Danmark if each of the two keyboards receive on a different MIDI channel, you should activate the Advanced Channel Routing and forward the CH1 also to CH2.
What do you mean exactly for “Instrument pre-setup for the Hammond app”?

@@AudioModeling Thanks for your reply. It's a keyboard with split.. I guess it should still be possible - I will try it out.
Instrument pre-setup ( like you have done for eg. the galileo ) so you can pick the sound you want directly (hopefully inclusive the app's presets as well) :)

@@ChokDK-bryllupsmusik-duo As for "pre-setup", now I understand: it's not a pre-setup, we query the plugin for the patch-list. If you do not see anything, it means that B3-X is not exposing the patch-list to the host

@@AudioModeling Aah.. I see. Thank you for clarification. As it literally is my first day with Camelot I better say " I guess it's not showing it" but I better check again :)

Need to come up with some useful examples. You need to show states changing during a performance. What you show here the average "arranger" keyboard can do independently.

$150 seems steep to me... about ready to roll my own open source VST host and end the misery for us all...

robert w there is A LOT of work behind Camelot, there are several people working on it, and we add features continuously.
Good luck for your open source VST host 😉

Audio Modeling I’m new at this and picked up a midi keyboard and I’m just trying to get sound out of it, everything I look at is hundreds of dollars, there must be something simple around other than iOS devices that can act as a midi sound module... just a little frustrated with it, seems overly complicated, what’s an easy cheap way to just get some sound, I’ve got about a dozen VST instruments that came with the keyboard (m-audio hammer 88) but as of yet no way to load them...

Hi, is Camelot Pro usable with a guitar + mic setup? If yes, is possible to bypass vst with an FCB1010 in Camelot? Thanks
