The entire album is genius. They are creating what they want to, we are all here just enjoying for the ride.
I’ve been a fan since 2005 and I love all their albums however LIBAD just hits different. I’d say is right up there with Nightmare in terms of my personal favorites. Maybe it’s because this new album came out at just the right time for me. The combination of skeletons in space is especially beautiful. Whatever it is I can’t get enough of the new album and of this gorgeous song. Brings me to tears every time.
@@stan_meow3778- One of the best things about A7X is how diverse their catalog is and staying consistently good. They have an album for a lot of different moods.
100%. Starting with Nightmare, they wrote for crowd engagement over their own musical fulfillment (not selling out - it's more fun to perform that way). This is finally getting back to playing what they want, ratings be damned.
MUST listen to "Save Me" ... Trust me.
OMG! YEAH! PLEASE!
TRUST THIS COMMENTOR
What u said!🤩😍
We trust you ❤
I swear he did already
This song makes me feel high without being high
Avenged Sevenfold are masterful musicians and this entire album proves it.
This song tells the story of two souls who connect in life, die, then journey to a new life and meet again, over and over and over... The souls intertwined forever, journeying through lifetimes, reconnecting, losing each other, and knowing they'll find each other again in a new life. I love it.
Really? Where did you hear that? It’s very touching
this is one of my favourite songs of all time, it’s just perfect
This song is from their Album 'Life is but a dream' released last year, June 2nd 2023 following a 5 year break. It's what's commonly known as the fan favourite from what I've seen and it's a great showcase song for introducing the 'new' album and the bands overall talent to new listeners. The band gets alot of unnecessary hate for simply not sticking to one style, but for me they're incredible and yes, I am biased but I love watching Avenged reactions and can tell you appreciate their brilliance. +1
Nobody was first released and it was fkng amazing. Soon as the album was released in full this was one of the top liked
You must check out Buried Alive. According to M Shadows it is one of his favorite songs. It is basically 2 songs in one .
They are incredible aren't they?😅
I love when I see people get to the place in their life when they can appreciate Avenged Sevenfold.
They are weird, cool, emotional, talented, storytellers, heavy when they want to, soft when they want to.
Their discography is so diverse at this point that they have something for everyone.
Life is but a dream... is one of my favorite albums of all time.
In my eyes is up there with the greats.
Great reaction!!
Genuine artistic expression all the way. Love them to bits.
Yes. I am one myself.
Buried alive is a solid one that has everything. Instrumental opening, calm vibe that changes part way through to a whole different song that makes you just wanna head bang. Left satisfied guaranteed.
LIBAD and the stage are both so brilliantly put together albums as far as being a whole piece rather than just a list of tracks. if you listen to the demos for nightmare you can tell they have been working on something like the past 2 albums for a long time. nightmare was supposed to be that but then the rev died mid development. RIP Jimmy
at 5:23 CHILLS EVERYTIME with the 808 hits then fades to the piano. EVERYTIME.. also Brooks just killing it. the last 2 minutes of this song just going absolutely nuts. just insanely talented musicians
This👆
If you don't have a good audio system, a good pair of headphones or you're not listening to the high quality audio, then you won't be able to experience this album in full.
The base rumble in that specific transition is soooo good.🤤
The base in this whole album sounds amazing.
@@w122ArDAgreed 100%, but I’ve noticed that only in the first mv on UA-cam you get the rumble, at spotify or Apple Music you only get a bit of it and some resonance but not the full bump at the transition.
@@Matt.Alpenglow I have the CD, so I'm glad I will have the highest quality audio for this album forever.
I stream the album when I'm at work or just having it in the background when busy (I noticed the bass is not as powerful in these formats), but when I want to actually listen to it, I set aside 1 hour of my day to play the CD, and it never gets old.
This album is great, but when you listen to it how it was intended, then it becomes a masterpiece!
Highly recommend to get the CD and play in a decent audio system at home or in your car. You will not be disappointed.
@@w122ArDyep I bought a set up 3 years ago to play my CDs on. I have some vinyls and cassettes but with a good set up you get the best out of CDs big time. CDs are so good that just a ok set up will do it justice for people that can’t spend a lot. I also have the adapter to make Bluetooth sound almost as good as CDs and when doing a mix to have on it works fantastic but CDs are top tier stuff.
Would really recommend some of the songs off of Live in the LBC. (The whole concert is great tbh)
FR WE NEED SOME LBC LIVE REACTIONS
@@mariusduaas4327 would like to see his reaction to the rev just being an absolute boss singing and doing the drums all in one.
yesss and also their unplugged set at the grammy museum, any of the songs
@@mbabaneamputee7725 they seem to be one of the few bands that do a raw live performance without any audio enhancements which makes their live performances sound uniquely excellent every time.
Love how you seem to understand music in general real. The feeling of stylistic choices. So many people are so stuck on what they like and that’s it. You can find beauty in all genres of music and they in turn can make you feel something.
Mi teddy, saludos carnal. Big fan of watching you reacting and becoming a metal head.. I recognize your love for music and this path is gonna open up your horizon to new sounds. It's like looking at a beautiful star and then recognizing its a beautiful constellation
Oh dude I’m so fucking glad to see you reacted to this! I won’t be able to watch for a couple hours but I had to let you know how pumped I am 😂
Thank you man! I’m glad I did, this one is special!
Dare say you n the boys will be turning the lights off to this audio journey. So wholesome watching your face during this reaction. Smile slowly creeps in 😉
This is my favorite song. I truly believe this is the best album to come out (any genre) in the last 10 years
yeah it's a masterpiece periodddt!
this was arguably my fav song on the album and for some reason this video tears me up a bit when I watch it, its almost overwhelming and im not even sure exactly why
This song has homie contemplating the meaning of life haha it is a good song, tho and it made me emotional too
I heard one song when this album was coming out and immediately pre ordered this album without hearing any other songs. Was not disappointed when it finally came, definitely their most artistic and creative work yet.
The Stage is the definition of art.
@@rehzxy4428they are both amazing pieces where the stage had a lot of fear in it libad is the peace after the storm
This song is something special, the moment i listened to it the day it came out, it instantly became my favorite song from them
Was really cool to see you get slightly emotional at the end of the song. You could see it really hit you. I cried the first time I listened to it. You should check out the entire "Life is But a Dream" album. It's a really cool journey!
Man, Danger Line and M.I.A. Just listen to those things and then you will get your mind blown for real.
This man will fall in love with Synyster Gates and the Rev he just doesn't know it yet.
I've been wishing since I first heard this song that i could go back and hear it for the first time again. Watching it with you have me that feeling.
In a way, you flipped over my hour glass.
Thanks man, Cheers.
Can't wait to see them this summer at Copenhell. Its going to be a first Avenged concert for me.
Makes you feel like crying eveytime you listen, amazing song
if you were to do a full album reaction this is one i would highly highly recommend its just so beautiful and new
Don't fear the reaper. Love the message of this song.
At least some of this album was based around some DMT experiences (at least that is what Shadows said in an interview). Big ego death themes going on in there. You can really hear it in the lyrics of Nobody, but this song brings that all home for me.
this is one of most beautifull songs i ever heard in my life!! incredible!!! amazing!! just BEAUTIFULL
YOOO YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THE WICKED END BY THEM DUDE ITS FIREEE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have always enjoyed A7X's choice to bring orchestral sound into their songs because a whole lot of bands that are mainstream really dont do that. It brings so much more emotion to every piece of the song
What the boys have done, m. shadows, zacky, johnny, synyster and brock. The members, for the album ''life is but a dream'', have made a true work of emotional art and genuinely designed to give a great warm gift of enjoying and feeling a good return of the band.
My favorite band and I missed they had this album out. Thank you for reacting to it. It sincerely brought me to emotional tears from just too many emotions at once. I think it's my new favorite, beating out Acid Rain. *goes to buy the album*
Man it makes me so happy seeing someone experience that song for the first time. There is something about that song just speaks to my soul. Cheers man
Love your reactions Teddy, you must do Exist, their musical interpretation of The Big Bang
Teddy I’m so glad you went for this one, as I wrote in one of my previous comments you were not given the most appropriate songs for a first listen to avenged! Now after this you just have to listen to Save me. It’s a tribute to the Rev and it’s a musical masterpiece.
Avenged Sevenfold - MIA is one i think you'll enjoy. I don't see it suggested often, but that's got an awesome solo in as well
"YOUTH OF THE NATION "FROM P.O.D 🎉
It might help to know that M Shadows and Synyster Gates, the lead singer and lead guitarist respectively, quite like the psychedelics of the therapeutic variety and a lot of their recent music that I find quite brilliant has resulted from that. I recently attended a similar therapy session, and it changed my life. Cannot wait to do it again.
Do save me next its very long but a great song
This is probably the best A7x reaction I’ve ever seen, because almost every reaction of you in this video is pretty much the same as me. Maybe that’s why I feel like I relate to this reaction so much. The first time I listen to Cosmic, I feel like I have ascended 😅
I know you were on a Corey Taylor kick for a while but one of my favorite songs of his is from the band Stone Sour song called Zzyzx Rd. its not the Slipknot style screaming and he explains how difficult life on the road is and it just hits differently.
EVERY HEAR THIS SONG I CRY 😢
Hello, I'm from Brazil and I'm new here on your channel, I'm loving watching your reactions, and I really wanted you to react to the Brazilian band called Angra, they are known worldwide for being a band with a unique combination of elements such as power metal , melodic metal, progressive metal, symphonic metal, heavy metal and speed metal. Not to mention that the vocalists were wonderful, the first was Andre Matos who marked generations and left his legacy and he is known as the maestro of rock, the second was Edu Falaschi, who also has a remarkable voice and has many fans all over the world, especially in Japan lol, and the current Fabio Lione, he is Italian and was the lead singer of the band Rhapsody, I highly recommend you react to Angra in the 3 phases, this band has a It's a beautiful story like the story of its vocalists too, I wish I could say more but it's going to be a huge comment, I wish you success and never stop doing your rock songs, I really identify with it lol. ❤🖤🤟
if you want insane progressive instrumental with about 10 minutes of electric guitar genius that tells a story, check out Exist. It's 15 minutes but you can't imagine the song to be any shorter.
It so much fun to watch someone watch a video I made! Respect! Love the reaction ❤.
Peace ✌️ Philm
Saw them play this song a couple weeks ago for the second time ever, and its was nothing shy of magical
blinded in chains next!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe This Is Matt's Outpouring Song For REV And Maybe This Is The Song For "FICTION"
Cosmic = There You'll Find Me
Fiction = I hope you'll find your own way, when I'm not with you tonight.
WeLoveYouJimmyfoREVer❤️
Matt has stated this song is about his wife Val, and how throughout several lifetimes he'll always find her.
I always felt that higher was that song for the rev. Which i believe they stated it was about an astronaut lost in space but still had that "there you'll find me" and made me think of the rev
synyster gates is just flexing his guitar powers on this song lol
Brooks also really just absolutely slaying those drums as well to compliment the guitar is just insane.
Pure genius.
My favorite song from A7X as well. I have not been a fan very long, but I am hooked now.
I’m seeing them on Monday finally! Glad I get to cross them off my concert bucket list
First time hearing, this song is so crazy. Its so different from what i know them for. Its simply beautiful
5:25 we all came immediately when we heard this part. 🤪
The best reaction I've seen to this song. what a tune, cheers.
beautiful morning
I’d love to see what you think of the Rasmus and within temptation
This song is spectacular. Just saw it live a week ago and they do not disappoint. Would love for you to check out more from the Nightmare album; three you might enjoy are Welcome to the Family, Buried Alive, or Save Me. Though I love their entire discography. Truly a great band and hope to see more of their music on the channel. Great reaction, was awesome seeing how much you got into this song
Did you react to Maggot Brain? Holy Shite I didn't think I would ever hear that anyone on these videos would even know that the Funkadelics even existed!!!
If you haven, you need to listen to the entire "Life Is But A Dream" album it's genius ❤❤❤
Dude, you had exactly the same reaction i had when listened this song for the first time. It's an absolute masterpiece
I had same reaction when 1st time listen to this song. The guitar solo, the piano section it's like bring me to fly.
Ridiculously great
Man you have to listen to unholy confessions too!
Great reaction!
Amazing react Teddy! Gotta tell you, that journey into metal you're on, has become my absolute playlist on yt hahaha
Will some request the stage for this man please. Come on!
I LOVE THIS SONG!! its without a doubt my favorite from new album, it got one of the best Synester Gates solo´s ever, if not the best, the transition to piano, and the end with Matt and the drumroll, just brilliant stuff, and i think the video they made is great to, and fits well..
FUN FACT: some of the lyrics from this album, is taken from a out of body experince, Matt did have visiting a Shamen, that made him drink some stuff..yup.. i know for a fact the song Nobody is linked to this, and i belive its somehow all over the album..
This album is not what you exepect, its full of surprises, and close to being a masterpiece imo..
The song from past album A little piece of heaven was a song the fans made a favorite, same happened to this one, the fans wanted it..
12:27 Yes, sir, it's all that and then some. Ok now I'm at the end of the reaction. Welcome To The Family. This is a deep rabbit hole. I've been going down for 4 yrs. Now. What a journey.
" Paradigm " 🔥🔥🔥🔥
that last part let me imagine that I'm dancing in fire tho
You will like Save Me, it's 100% lyricism and a vocal masterpiece. It's not being overrated by the comments, honestly. you can fully deep dive into Save Me. Also you will 100% like Not Ready to Die if you've played Call of Duty Black Ops (the first one). It will give you insane nostalgia.
This is definitely in my top 5 songs of all time. This songs makes me cry everytime. This is ART.
Essa música transmite uma sensação de paz, conexão com algo dentro de nós. Ainda vou ver a tradução da letra. O Brasil também acompanha o Avenged Sevenfold
This song is a masterpiece!
You really need to listen Slaughter to Prevail - Baba Yaga (or Demolisher... or Viking...)
I think you ready for that kind of think! Its definitely hit very hard!
Need to listen to more of Life is But a Dream album!
I finally caught a video just after it was posted ! Fuck yeah. Love your work teddy!!!
yeah, man! this song makes sense all feelings, makes cry so much!
React to Avenged Sevenfold Acid Rain and Crimson Day
A7X and Linkin Park are singing my soul, from day one. 2 of the greatest to ever exist. When A7X won their first award Linkin park was there to cheer for them btw.
This album and Waking The Fallen (earlier than anything you've listened to) are miles beyond anything in between for me. They started much heavier than you've heard, as pioneers of Metalcore. I highly recommended Unholy Confessions to see how they started.
I cannot put a finger on it but this shit brings tears to my eyes everytime, it's so weird
My absolute favorite song by them. Love the reaction and the emotion!
Please stay on the A7X journey. There is so much to this band and you haven’t even scratched the surface. I’ll keep saying Bat Country or Beast and the Harlot until you get to them.
This album and the stage are crazy cool albums to listen to when high or just alone in your own zone. Feels like a trip without the drugs lol
Glad you liked it! Beautiful song
Really hope you come back to some more Architects soon!
So many brilliant songs/lyrics to discover♥
You should check out Iron Maiden, Hallow Be Thy Name. Any song will do but this is one of the best to introduce someone new to them. I would love to see your reaction.
You should check out Slaughter to Prevail "baba yaga" then watch the drum playthrough. Electric Callboy " we got the moves" is a good place to start
React slaughter to prevail - demolisher. If you want sick drums and... stuff :D
This is their most recent album and it's by far their most flushed and creative album it's a wild ride from start to Finnish, the instruments, vocals, effects, composition everything is amazing it my seconds favourite album and I've been a fan over 20 years it's seminal
What a fuckin song man, last couple mins always got me starting to feel emotional. Fuckin genius stuff, great reaction brotha
For real though, you are the best reactor I’ve ever watched, and now the only one I watch. Please never stop reacting to this genre, you deserve so many more views than you get on these types of videos.
Anyway, with this song, album in particular, the album is called “Life is but a dream” of which, has gotten so much hate. Personally it’s my favorite album ever. Not just this band, I even got a tattoo of the deathbat from the album.
Cosmic has resonated with so much of the community, and people that were dogging on the album are asking where this masterpiece came from 😂
The whole album is amazing, I think a full album reaction would make you understand the whole story, it’s MEANT to be listened to as a full album, not just individually
Fire song! Great reaction.
Mic works
This song is about the journey of two souls looking for each other in different lifetimes no matter how it turns out, eternally locked in love
