The original mix was produced by John himself. Mind Games is his best album in my opinion. However, the original version and subsequent releases still have that 70’s sound about them and would be good to have versions that are re-engineered.
Love the man. I always know if the lyrics are deep and transcendent, we stand a chance that the music would be a departure from the bland drivel that passes as "music" today, which in turn, often comes with bland, narcissistic drivel.
I don’t agree. POB and Imagine were serious albums. Mind Games has Tight As, Meat City, The Nutopian National Anthem. Wall And Bridges has the duet with Julian and the silly pictures on the cover. Plus John did a lot of promotion for the album on American radio stations and showed lots of humor not only when being interviewed but also even being a guest DJ on occasion.
Very exciting!!!
I love this song.
It’s a brilliant album overall, I can’t wait!!!
Luvly jubbly. 😊

Absolutely, I love me some Lennon!!!
When he left England he also left behind his source of inspiration , sadly humour was totally absent in his NY output.

POB and Imagine were made in England, then the innovation and authenticity seriously drop off and don't recover.@@michaelf9693
