Tom- question for you? Lets say its been well over 6 months but i keep playing on the ankle...and im just not getting there.. i can do a calf raise double and single.... but i still get swelling after i play as well as turf toe and a bit of adductur hallicus issues ... just the whole foot seems to be a bit injured.... I can play or run but not push off how i want or jump how i want to.... and still swilling after play..... I finally am deciding to go in a boot and go more conventional methods like ice and rest.... .I also feel issues with extensor halicus longus.... just a multi facet issue going on here.... whats the best treatment going forward.... boot, ice and stop playing for a bit so those tendons and ligaments can finally heal?

I had an injury 19 months ago - it turns out that after 3 surgeries, I may need another one due to syndesmosis injury as well. What if none of the supportive shoes fit? My foot shape (even before the injury) just laugh e.g. Hoka Wide shoes (they are just not wide enough). Do you have any recommendations? (btw I am in Europe) Thank you for your advise.

Been 4 months, feel stiffness, unstability, and some disconfort when I squad and specially when I do calf raises. Any tips? I can run and walk with no problem, but I still do not feel 100 percent to play Soccer.
I have a question, I currently have a broken ankle. I'm having an awful time with crutches even though I've put padding for my armpits and hand area, they're terribly uncomfortable. I'm wondering your opinion on the forearm crutches? I have to do something.

My leg was all the way asleep while I was sitting on couch and I got up and walked on it and it went all kinds of ways and I previously shattered that same ankle in a car accident so I really messed it up. What do you suggest for someone that evidentally has multiple tendon/ligament issues going on at the same time. My Dr gave me a brace but otherwise isn't helping so I have to do it myself. Thanks.
Please consider doing some foot yoga exercises every day even for 15-20 minutes. Once there's an ankle injury, the tendency to get more has bigger possibility. Similar thing happened to me, yoga helped me in a big way. You can find those exercises here in UA-cam, they even have those you can do in bed or while just sitting down.🙏🏻

No medicine. You need to soak foot in warm water and start doing dorsi flexing exercises. SquatUniversity has tips on exercises to strengthen.
Yoga exercises for the foot, you can do it in bed or in the couch for 15-20 minutes a day.
