      yup he is a partner of the company that sells the over training solution and of course he says its the best. Also the stuff that is actually in the stuff are just Immunoglobulins which have nothing to do with your muscle recovery, though they are very good for your digestive tract. Do your own research people, there is no magic pill drink or powder and if there was the major pharm companies would have their hands on it first.

    theres nothing wrong with brief periods of hunger. it will only be for an hour or two. we give too much into our fleshly cravings. besides when you give up processed food and sugars thats half the battle

    I decided to do 10 days fruits and vegetables with some protein, but one meal a day. I came across this video and l was glad to see a man doing it. ☺️
    I had a big bowl of salad for dinner and planning to fast until tomorrow night again.l'm down 3 lbs in 2 days. I want to loose 20 lbs and get back to my previous weight. This inspired me!

    I started intermittent fasting 6 months ago doing 16:8 - saw immediate results - then after about a month, I switched to 20:4 - continued to lose weight for a couple months more, then hit a plateau. I was frustrated and knew I was gonna have to up my game to break my plateau. Switched to OMAD, broke the plateau, lost more weight, and I never have looked back since. I’m an OMAD for life! 🙌🏽

    Good stuff! I've been eating once a day for about 15 years now. It is the best change I've made in my life. I had ulcerative colitis and basically cured myself from steadily changing the way I eat. I began eating once a day but I wasn't eating super clean meals and steadily evolved into eating super clean once a day. I also bake my vegetables, very good way to make them. A good tip on the asparagus is bend it until it breaks and keep the flower part to eat. Good luck with this technique it makes me very happy that more and more people are catching on to it!

    Went to one solid meal a day (dinner or alternate with lunch) 7 weeks ago shortly after hearing him talk about it on Hotboxin' and lost 29 lbs.! My body, joints, organs, skin, is thanking me. Inflammation, allergies, and sugar cravings went from daily to zero. I do seansonal fruit smoothie with a scoop of superfoods and isolate protein for breakfast and collagen bone broth for lunch. I'm not as big muscular but I'm shredded and fit clothes from years ago and feel amazing! Giving up the weights and going full calisthenics and boxing now too. Live the functional fit performance and physique. Highly recommend trying this it is a game changer!!!

FASTING in and of itself is probably THE healthiest thing you can do for your body - physically, spiritually (hearing God better) and mentally. Good job! One meal a day is good to lose weight in a hurry. That being said, a lot of people can't stick with it. For those who can, more power to them. 3 weeks ago I weighed 235 lbs, I'm 6'2". I began an intermittent fast 16/8 with about a 500 calorie deficit and I'm cutting carbs. In 3 weeks I lost 7 lbs and now I'm 228. My goal is to drop 20 or 25 lbs more by the summer. I also take BCAA's during workouts and take MCT Oil. I stopped working out for a while last year due to the death of my mom, but I'm more upbeat now. I do the Total gym 3 times a week and free weights 3 times a week. And I just bought a dip bar.

    i've been folliwing this guy for years, mantras, eating habits, lifting habits and i'm so glad he's bringing up this style of dieting. and keto. I do keto and eveyrone i know is weird about it. but i have never felt better in my lift. i sleep well and less hours, no more allergies, i haven't touched my inhaler in two months three days. i used to always wake up with congestion. no more of that either. the food industry and bodybuilding industry has miscontrued a lot of what the body wants and needs. i don't eat nearly as much protein and i'm almost twice and yolked but not soft big. my skin quality is great, OH and I CAN BREATHE OUT OF BOTH NOSTRILS it hasn't been like that consistently ever!! only when i eat minty food or wasabi. give up the bad carbs people. it really works.
    don't like veggies? make veggie smoothies
    don't like cooking? crock pot or one pan oven meals
    always hungry? eat more satiating fats
    -- drink 8oz of water before every meal. but not after ( i hear it messes with digestion )
    dont' boil food if you're not gonna drink the water, all the nutrients are sucked out.
    always bake or microwave (you don't get cancer from the microwave.......................................... -_-)
    always use himalayan salt not iodized or regular sea salt. (more minerals in pink salt and you wont get bloated ever.)
    i've only been at this for a short time but I can tell you... i'm never turning back.

      I'd give it a try myself were it not for a very physically demanding job as well. I'll try near anything if someone can make a logical argument for it, and if I person I believe to be trustworthy claims benefit from it. Some people though, you just can't trust a damned thing that comes out of their mouth because potential views dictate their morals, rather than their morals dictating potential views.

    Great video! I have been plant based for 2.5 years now. I lost a lot of muscle mass. I don't take supplements. Most of my "usable" protein comes from beans. I eat minimal processed foods and really like seeing how you made this meal. For me, once I got past caring what people thought about me, I didn't care about being bulky. I feel better then I ever have at 45 years old eating plants twice a day and working out 6-7 days a week. Thanx for the video man💪😎

      I just find it very hard to believe you muscles can grow on 1 meal a day, without steroids..even with steroids, i find it difficult..if I go more than 4 or 5 hours without eating, i feel flat and no energy...your body is built to digest food...this is a very extreme approach...

      I guess if you're trying to lose weight it'll work...but it's not reasonable if you're trying to stay the same weight or add muscle...simple if you take in less calories than you burn off, you will lose weight...and if your normal calorie maintainence does is 3000 calories per day; it's impossible to get all 3000 calories in one meal...not without bursting and your body wouldn't be able to process all those calories in one sitting.

    • @jlv3x
      @jlv3x 6 років тому

      bigconan Herschel Walker has been doing this for years. One meal a day, no weightlifting, no steroids, and still stayed ripped and cut. I don't think everyone's metabolism can take it.

    • @bigconan
      @bigconan 6 років тому

      there are certain biochemical rules that apply to everyone...if you burn off more calories than you take in, you're going to lose weight and vice versa...this is a universal fact...now, hershal being over 200lbs, there is no way you can maintain that kind of muscle weight with just 1 meal...simply no way...now, if you're using that as a means to lose weight, then it will work great...or using it for short periods of time to clean out your system, then it will work good...but, you cannot maintain or gain muscle using a 1 meal per day schedule.

You have to eat 6 small meals or 3 square meals a day. I’m glad more and more people are taking upon themselves to do research

    • @adegiare
      @adegiare 6 років тому +6

      I eat once a day at 15:30. Same time every day, clean eating, huge quantity until I feel full.
      Eating once a day and my body is the best it ever was. Visible abs, tight waist, sharper look.
      Downside is from around 10:00 to 15:30 you feel the hunger and depletion, you dont feel weak but you dont feel strong either.
      Second downside you appear small in cloths and people are quick to assume you dont even lift/undertrain/slack/not take it seriously until you remove your shirt and see them go silent. And with a huge pump they will ask you what you take.
      Never judge a body until you see it.
      Will I continue this for a long time? Maybe, but I cant see myself eating more than twice a day, once you debunk those outdated meal frequency myths you never look back.

    I too have a food addiction. My personal view is that the concept of eating 5 to 6 smaller meals a day contributed to me never feeling full and more easily justifying eating "another" snack. For me it contributed to me eating too many processed foods and too many calories. I find that planning and preparing one meal a day is so much easier, less time consuming, and allows me to make the contents of the food to be of much higher quality as a result. Surprisingly it also helps me to stay more disciplined in my relationship with food. I have already eaten my calories for the day. As a result I stay on track with my caloric needs and don't overeat.

    if you have solid muscle fiber gains, it's hard to loose it. Once you start working out, the muscle fibers get blood in and your gains wake back up. Only water gains from creatines and protein shakes fade off fast because they arent real strength gains. They are temporary water weight that makes you feel big from drinkin all that shit.. OMAD is the most sustainable lifestyle ever. I don’t even feel hungry anymore and feel more energetic. I eat a ton of vegetables to break my fast then an hour later have my big meal filled with carbs and protein.

      I do the same thing. Eat veggies to break my fast then enjoy my good carbs and proteins I never count calories and dropping weight. Some days I break the fast with bunch of fruits

      Rollo Larson it's called passion and who are to judge what language he uses. It's your opinion and not the standard of life.

      Rollo, i agree , what you are saying is maybe 'generally' correct. Especially when arguing/debating. But it certainly isn't always the case. I also agree with Andrew, that many of us disregard cultural norms :)

    I’m doing the OMAD plan for the past 2 weeks and I feel like my whole body just reset.
    I can’t eat anymore sugars and salts that don’t come from natural fruits and vegetables, it feels weird to me.
    I’ve been eating only lean meats and curried veggies. I cut out bread completely and eat cucumbers or lettuce instead.
    I’ve drop about 12 lbs within the past few weeks and feel 10x better than when I was eating 3x a day.
    Thanks for the knowledge bombs. 😊

    I learned this years ago reading How To Eat to Live Books 1 & 2. I did this for years and was in perfect health. Today I do intermitting fasting getting back to 1 meal a day. Fasting is the best for your health. Give your organs a break. Also when done properly you’ll see benefits FAST!
