I started intermittent fasting 6 months ago doing 16:8 - saw immediate results - then after about a month, I switched to 20:4 - continued to lose weight for a couple months more, then hit a plateau. I was frustrated and knew I was gonna have to up my game to break my plateau. Switched to OMAD, broke the plateau, lost more weight, and I never have looked back since. I’m an OMAD for life! 🙌🏽

Started eating once a mike like 2-3 weeks and I went from 205 to 195... never been under 200 since 2014-2015 ... never felt better thanks bro ... finally losing my dad body lol ... but it was hard but I feel so much better and happier bro thanks a lot big guy
im sold on this. when i began this, ive lost weight and yet gotten stronger. a lot of what we've been told about calories are not true. most people are too big and eat too much
Hey Mike, just wanted to inform you that most nutrients found in vegetables are stored in the roots. Therefore you should try to eat the entire asparagus (just chop off a little bit at the bottom of the root). Hope this helps
I used to feed my Guinea pigs all kinds of veggies. They loved the roots of all plants. They are a good guidance system on what is good for you or not.
I love how this guy communicates on the level. “If you can’t afford it then get regular asparagus.” Seems would be the guy you’d gravitate towards as a friend just because.
Good call Mike. Were ultimately working out to be healthy, not to hurt ourself internally in the long run. I'm no where close to being big and muscular, but I see what you're saying.
The roots carry the most nutrients in any plant organism the closer you cut toward the root. The more beneficial the result. I'm no doctor but I have worked within and helped bring forth the number one juice cleanse bar in Charlotte, NC. Keep it clean and stay balanced every one!
Roots do the job of absorbing the water, minerals and nitrogen from the soil. but they do not fix the nitrogen, the leaves do. So you might not be getting the most bioavailable nutrients from the roots....
Watching u inspires me to keep going i am on a mission i use to be 263 pounds but now i fast and it help me a lot i am currently at 182 thanks mike for every thing
Good job! One meal a day is good to lose weight in a hurry. That being said, a lot of people can't stick with it. For those who can, more power to them. 3 weeks ago I weighed 235 lbs, I'm 6'2". I began an intermittent fast 16/8 with about a 500 calorie deficit and I'm cutting carbs. In 3 weeks I lost 7 lbs and now I'm 228. My goal is to drop 20 or 25 lbs more by the summer. I also take BCAA's during workouts and take MCT Oil. I stopped working out for a while last year due to the death of my mom, but I'm more upbeat now. I do the Total gym 3 times a week and free weights 3 times a week. And I just bought a dip bar.
I know I'm late to your post, but much Respect for being able to overcome a family loss and restart your training, says a lot about your positivity level. 👍 Hopefully, you're still in your training program and don't neglect LEGENDARY LEG DAY! Stay Positive Brother! 💪⚡⚡
I stumbled onto this video in the beginning of what will be my transformation from a piss poor diet with no discipline to a more healthy and positive outlook and route. I appreciate u taking the time to share what u did my brother. I took alot from this video and just wanted to say thank u even if u never see this comment. Much luv & respect. Peace
i've been folliwing this guy for years, mantras, eating habits, lifting habits and i'm so glad he's bringing up this style of dieting. and keto. I do keto and eveyrone i know is weird about it. but i have never felt better in my lift. i sleep well and less hours, no more allergies, i haven't touched my inhaler in two months three days. i used to always wake up with congestion. no more of that either. the food industry and bodybuilding industry has miscontrued a lot of what the body wants and needs. i don't eat nearly as much protein and i'm almost twice and yolked but not soft big. my skin quality is great, OH and I CAN BREATHE OUT OF BOTH NOSTRILS it hasn't been like that consistently ever!! only when i eat minty food or wasabi. give up the bad carbs people. it really works. don't like veggies? make veggie smoothies don't like cooking? crock pot or one pan oven meals always hungry? eat more satiating fats -- drink 8oz of water before every meal. but not after ( i hear it messes with digestion ) dont' boil food if you're not gonna drink the water, all the nutrients are sucked out. always bake or microwave (you don't get cancer from the microwave.......................................... -_-) always use himalayan salt not iodized or regular sea salt. (more minerals in pink salt and you wont get bloated ever.) i've only been at this for a short time but I can tell you... i'm never turning back.
Mike Rashid is my hero I was locked in when he said if you can look in the mirror and be happy with that then keep living that way if do see something you can fix get off your ass and get in the gym😎
it takes time to adapt, and its not for everyone, i do IF from time to time, sometimes its easier and i do not get hungry after a few days but sometimes i get silly carvings. Best is twice per day and you can eat a lot more.
I'd give it a try myself were it not for a very physically demanding job as well. I'll try near anything if someone can make a logical argument for it, and if I person I believe to be trustworthy claims benefit from it. Some people though, you just can't trust a damned thing that comes out of their mouth because potential views dictate their morals, rather than their morals dictating potential views.
I did pipeline construction for three years (breaking, digging, etc..) No way I could've survive that with this sh*t. The summer days when we put in some serious work where 10x more grueling than any gym workout. Functional strength > Gym muscles
You are very motivational. This is my first time watching your videos and after watching this I feel as I can do better things to improve my health to live a better life. I also appreciate the way that you explain everything so perfectly to where I can understand. Thank you 💪🏽
Great video! I have been plant based for 2.5 years now. I lost a lot of muscle mass. I don't take supplements. Most of my "usable" protein comes from beans. I eat minimal processed foods and really like seeing how you made this meal. For me, once I got past caring what people thought about me, I didn't care about being bulky. I feel better then I ever have at 45 years old eating plants twice a day and working out 6-7 days a week. Thanx for the video man💪😎
Subbed! In the first 3 minutes of your video, you gave me more information on the Human Body than any other health channel I have ever seen and I'm a Fruitarian. You said the magic word, you said our bodies WILL "LIQUEFY" FOOD BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE ABSORB, LIQUIDS!. You sir are worth watching, there is nothing more valuable in this world than practical education.
Robert Elliott he's a fake natty bro, don't fall for his bull. He's lied for years about his steroid use and mike Rashid isn't even his birth name. He changed it to hide his back ground and don't get me started on his false boxing career lol the guys a naive fake. I only came back to his channel because am looking into the one meal a day thing and his video was at the top
So what if he lied about something? Tell me one person who doesn't or hasn't lied about something. Doesn't mean he hasn't a clue what he's talking about. Pretty much everything he says is logical.
I see where he is coming from, I never got up to 240 but I went up from 195 to 220 just from lifting and eating and it doesnt feel all that good. Its looks good but it makes you feel very sluggish and puts a lot of weight on your limbs. Im down to 198 and I feel more functional and light on my feet especially from a self defence stand point.
Coming back and watching this video I like how Mike doesn’t seem so stuck up and stiff and nervous he seems really relaxed focus and confident in what he’s doing
I just find it very hard to believe you muscles can grow on 1 meal a day, without steroids..even with steroids, i find it difficult..if I go more than 4 or 5 hours without eating, i feel flat and no energy...your body is built to digest food...this is a very extreme approach...
I guess if you're trying to lose weight it'll work...but it's not reasonable if you're trying to stay the same weight or add muscle...simple if you take in less calories than you burn off, you will lose weight...and if your normal calorie maintainence does is 3000 calories per day; it's impossible to get all 3000 calories in one meal...not without bursting and your body wouldn't be able to process all those calories in one sitting.
bigconan Herschel Walker has been doing this for years. One meal a day, no weightlifting, no steroids, and still stayed ripped and cut. I don't think everyone's metabolism can take it.
there are certain biochemical rules that apply to everyone...if you burn off more calories than you take in, you're going to lose weight and vice versa...this is a universal fact...now, hershal being over 200lbs, there is no way you can maintain that kind of muscle weight with just 1 meal...simply no way...now, if you're using that as a means to lose weight, then it will work great...or using it for short periods of time to clean out your system, then it will work good...but, you cannot maintain or gain muscle using a 1 meal per day schedule.
Who would dislike this, why? I'm loving this and putting it with my collective knowledge. True food for thought and action. Mike from the heart much appreciated.
Nice Mike - I do warrior diet & eat one big meal - I feel energetic - can lift heavy weight - & I don't need any energy amino or supplement pre workout
Gotta respect this mans honesty. He admits when he doesn't know something and why he thinks he might be right but also might be wrong. Much love. Do as he says but DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
People are so quick to bring up shit about "America", man I see people of all nationalities being critical on here. Foreigners be itchin to say some shit about America lol. And to Mike keep doin ya thing man, if it works for you then all power to you. Forget the haters.
Yea I love how you assume that every negative comment is from an American. You give an opinionated, critical comment about how you hate people giving opinionated, critical comments...and then you blame it on Americans. The hypocrisy is palpable.
Mike read how to eat to live book 1 & 2... it's about eating one meal a day written by Elijah Muhammad... he talks about how it takes 24 hours for one meal to properly digest... anyway good shit bro stay strong...
wwwhbo74 exactly, i was going to say this but you beat me to it. You notice he gave a shot out to the book at the very end. i wonder y he didn't just come out and say it.
wwwhbo74 Mike has knowledge of self, he just doesn't come out and say so as to not alienate his fan base. the brother even has a crescent moon & star tatted.
First thing I thought of when he started this video, My cousin's that are in Public Enemy told me about this as well as my brother. Definitely going to try this recipe minus the salmon since I'm allergic. Also im going to read those books. Thanks
I have the book. This concept has been around forever, but lots of folks are just now catching on. The book even goes on to say at some point to eat one meal every other day, or every 3rd day. I currently do one meal a day (OMAD) since the beginning of the year. The start was tough, but I feel it is one of the best things I've done for my body.
I'm so glad I ran into this video because I have been saying to myself I want to eat to live, not live to eat and this video has inspired even more to eat healthy, stop drinking, and become totally fit. Thanks!!!!!!
Thank you so much for being such an inspiration.. God bless you and your family on this cleansing journey for you .. the discipline and self respect for yourself has truly amplified me to create my own outlook in what I want for me and to redefine my goals. The structure in what you’re building for you leaves me in awe.. I thank you for being a rare breed of independence and incredible self worth.. please continue to be that amazingly untouchable father figure in your children’s lives.. the impact from then to now is forever rewarding.. take care Mr. Rashid.. keep going.
This doesn't sound like it's aimed as a 'one meal a day to bulk up' sort of thing, it sounds more like 'got the bulk, just need to lose the fat with one meal a day' For those who are mistaking this for a one meal a day miracle
People have been slowly learning more about intermittent fasting as time goes on. It’s not peoples faults that they have been fed false information since the day they were born. You have to eat 6 small meals or 3 square meals a day. I’m glad more and more people are taking upon themselves to do research
I eat once a day at 15:30. Same time every day, clean eating, huge quantity until I feel full. Eating once a day and my body is the best it ever was. Visible abs, tight waist, sharper look. Downside is from around 10:00 to 15:30 you feel the hunger and depletion, you dont feel weak but you dont feel strong either. Second downside you appear small in cloths and people are quick to assume you dont even lift/undertrain/slack/not take it seriously until you remove your shirt and see them go silent. And with a huge pump they will ask you what you take. Never judge a body until you see it. Will I continue this for a long time? Maybe, but I cant see myself eating more than twice a day, once you debunk those outdated meal frequency myths you never look back.
My friends mother has MS and she’s been doing intermittent fasting for almost a year now and she rarely has flare ups. Inflammation is a killer and I’m so glad you mentioned that. You really know your stuff.
Now this is the kind of person id trust. Body builders who talk too smooth and could be mistaken for TV presenters , I don't trust at all. I'm gonna try this. 🤔
Ray Lmn hey it works fasted cardio all that shit is real and the truth is out fast eat less eat minerals take multi drink water and take protein to feed muscle get lean as fuck and feel good and live a lot longer then normal expectations
Im currently overweight and addicted to food but anytime i have had any success with losing weight its come on the back of one meal a day and i would eat anything and it still worked for me but i will always go back to eating throughout the day and late nights and end up gaining my weight back i am not gonna keep failing myself and find a consistent lifestyle of eating better THANKS MIKE
I too have a food addiction. My personal view is that the concept of eating 5 to 6 smaller meals a day contributed to me never feeling full and more easily justifying eating "another" snack. For me it contributed to me eating too many processed foods and too many calories. I find that planning and preparing one meal a day is so much easier, less time consuming, and allows me to make the contents of the food to be of much higher quality as a result. Surprisingly it also helps me to stay more disciplined in my relationship with food. I have already eaten my calories for the day. As a result I stay on track with my caloric needs and don't overeat.
if you have solid muscle fiber gains, it's hard to loose it. Once you start working out, the muscle fibers get blood in and your gains wake back up. Only water gains from creatines and protein shakes fade off fast because they arent real strength gains. They are temporary water weight that makes you feel big from drinkin all that shit.. I agree with the movement
OMAD is the most sustainable lifestyle ever. I don’t even feel hungry anymore and feel more energetic. I eat a ton of vegetables to break my fast then an hour later have my big meal filled with carbs and protein.
I do the same thing. Eat veggies to break my fast then enjoy my good carbs and proteins I never count calories and dropping weight. Some days I break the fast with bunch of fruits
Rollo, i agree , what you are saying is maybe 'generally' correct. Especially when arguing/debating. But it certainly isn't always the case. I also agree with Andrew, that many of us disregard cultural norms :)
Rollo Larson He's defined by himself not your opinion. People whom are WEAK in defining themselves have no authority over anyone else, but themselves. You ignorance did have to listen to his video as you're not doing him any good or harm... Go fuckin meditate. Namaste bitches...
Mike, my dude, you killin me cuttin all your veggies with the letter opener paring knife lol. Unless this part of your chest n tri's day, where's your chef knife yo??
I’m doing the OMAD plan for the past 2 weeks and I feel like my whole body just reset. I can’t eat anymore sugars and salts that don’t come from natural fruits and vegetables, it feels weird to me. I’ve been eating only lean meats and curried veggies. I cut out bread completely and eat cucumbers or lettuce instead. I’ve drop about 12 lbs within the past few weeks and feel 10x better than when I was eating 3x a day. Thanks for the knowledge bombs. 😊
Bro was on point when it comes to the stressful factors that accumulate when you’re mass building and consuming constantly ..💯 not many people will fill you in on that
I learned this years ago reading How To Eat to Live Books 1 & 2. I did this for years and was in perfect health. Today I do intermitting fasting getting back to 1 meal a day. Fasting is the best for your health. Give your organs a break. Also when done properly you’ll see benefits FAST!

Started eating once a mike like 2-3 weeks and I went from 205 to 195... never been under 200 since 2014-2015 ... never felt better thanks bro ... finally losing my dad body lol ... but it was hard but I feel so much better and happier bro thanks a lot big guy
im sold on this. when i began this, ive lost weight and yet gotten stronger. a lot of what we've been told about calories are not true. most people are too big and eat too much
Facts
He looks and remind me of my dad, always active and motivated.
Hey Mike, just wanted to inform you that most nutrients found in vegetables are stored in the roots. Therefore you should try to eat the entire asparagus (just chop off a little bit at the bottom of the root). Hope this helps
Yes it hurt me to watch that too lol
I used to feed my Guinea pigs all kinds of veggies. They loved the roots of all plants. They are a good guidance system on what is good for you or not.
I love how this guy communicates on the level. “If you can’t afford it then get regular asparagus.” Seems would be the guy you’d gravitate towards as a friend just because.
Good call Mike. Were ultimately working out to be healthy, not to hurt ourself internally in the long run. I'm no where close to being big and muscular, but I see what you're saying.
lets be real why only eat once a day if your still on riods maybe give up roids if you wand to downsize your half in size up plus be more healthy.
Way da go.....
Great video! Great encouragement keep inspiring Mike
so this was posted 7 months ago, are you still currently doing this and how did it turn out?
BMORE
Could listen to this dude all day
Sounds like method man - wutang
don oyster oh shit I can’t unhear that now
He has such soothing voice, doesn't he? 🥰
This guy explained it better than anyone ive heard
RufusLeakin bcaa and oil break your fast
that's great !!! BCAA ??? do it work , do you mix it with MCT Oil...( trying to educated myself).
RufusLeakin sorry to hear about your mom dude. Shit must be rough. Keep at it mate💪🏾💪🏾❤️
I know I'm late to your post, but much Respect for being able to overcome a family loss and restart your training, says a lot about your positivity level. 👍
Hopefully, you're still in your training program and don't neglect LEGENDARY LEG DAY! Stay Positive Brother! 💪⚡⚡
I know I'm late, but sorry about your mom bro. Glad you're back at it.
very inspiring to see a brother doing good god bless
Christopher Davis it's not by chance.
😴😴😴😴😴
I stumbled onto this video in the beginning of what will be my transformation from a piss poor diet with no discipline to a more healthy and positive outlook and route. I appreciate u taking the time to share what u did my brother. I took alot from this video and just wanted to say thank u even if u never see this comment. Much luv & respect. Peace
Eating once a day is intermittent fasting it helps the body cleans itself
Live Not Die Because I do full body 3 times a week
Live Not Die Heavy compound lifts deadlifts 450,Squats 405 with reps and heavy bench, rows, and overhead press
+Musa Muhammad nicr
Musa Muhammad how .many days u work out week
Al least 3 days of week Mon,Wed,Fri in between I might do a little cardio
i've been folliwing this guy for years, mantras, eating habits, lifting habits and i'm so glad he's bringing up this style of dieting. and keto. I do keto and eveyrone i know is weird about it. but i have never felt better in my lift. i sleep well and less hours, no more allergies, i haven't touched my inhaler in two months three days. i used to always wake up with congestion. no more of that either. the food industry and bodybuilding industry has miscontrued a lot of what the body wants and needs. i don't eat nearly as much protein and i'm almost twice and yolked but not soft big. my skin quality is great, OH and I CAN BREATHE OUT OF BOTH NOSTRILS it hasn't been like that consistently ever!! only when i eat minty food or wasabi. give up the bad carbs people. it really works.
don't like veggies? make veggie smoothies
don't like cooking? crock pot or one pan oven meals
always hungry? eat more satiating fats
-- drink 8oz of water before every meal. but not after ( i hear it messes with digestion )
dont' boil food if you're not gonna drink the water, all the nutrients are sucked out.
always bake or microwave (you don't get cancer from the microwave.......................................... -_-)
always use himalayan salt not iodized or regular sea salt. (more minerals in pink salt and you wont get bloated ever.)
i've only been at this for a short time but I can tell you... i'm never turning back.
Mike Rashid is the Method Man of bodybuilding 😂😂
Wu Tang Chef. Keep it up brother
That's who he looks like!! Fuck yeah 😂 😂 a jacked Method Man
LMAO...hella true!
Sounds like em too
I was wondering if anyone else thought the same thing! 😂
I thought that Raekwon was the Chef ? 😂
Mike Rashid is my hero I was locked in when he said if you can look in the mirror and be happy with that then keep living that way if do see something you can fix get off your ass and get in the gym😎
I wish I could eat once a day, but being a constructing worker (working 10 hours)then working out, there's no way. ..
Aaron Strong I feel ya bro. I would have no energy or power in the gym.
it takes time to adapt, and its not for everyone, i do IF from time to time, sometimes its easier and i do not get hungry after a few days but sometimes i get silly carvings.
Functional strength > Gym muscles
sam blonde know exactly what you mean, stick welding under a 10in pipe in July in Georgia is no cake walk, salute my brother
OMAD (one meal a day), this is the expert level of intermittent fasting
I I have tried eating once a day but damn, I feel dizziness, headache, just messed up feelings. I can't even focus at work.
My eating window is 22/2, 22 hour fast 2 hours to eat. Particularly it's one big meal.
Some days I eat dbol only and some I eat winstrol only.
@வலையர் இன்று முத்தரையர் How can I overcome that?
I only came back to his channel because am looking into the one meal a day thing and his video was at the top
oh dang, thanks for the heads up bud.
sugar makes you age
So what if he lied about something? Tell me one person who doesn't or hasn't lied about something. Doesn't mean he hasn't a clue what he's talking about. Pretty much everything he says is logical.
I see where he is coming from, I never got up to 240 but I went up from 195 to 220 just from lifting and eating and it doesnt feel all that good. Its looks good but it makes you feel very sluggish and puts a lot of weight on your limbs. Im down to 198 and I feel more functional and light on my feet especially from a self defence stand point.
javon jones I agree. I had chronic heartburn until I lost some weight. Extra weight does put a lot of pressure on your organs.
Andrew Hopscocth Im 5-10 nigga
Im going through the same thing and im around ft5 10in or 11in myself
Paul Archibald . i be 5 foot n 8 inches....37 yr. old , n , stayin Shredded.
Dalinkwent K Yea its not comfortable and I never felt the urge of hunger because I was constantly eating. Crazy thing is I missed being hungry
You be bringing the positive on healthy eating bro. I am ready to start eating healthy for my age 48 bro. Learning to make Vegan foods...💪😁
Coming back and watching this video I like how Mike doesn’t seem so stuck up and stiff and nervous he seems really relaxed focus and confident in what he’s doing
This guy is a genius! i have said 1 meal a day for years!! WHY would anyone want their pancreas and liver working on max 5 or 6 times a day???
I just find it very hard to believe you muscles can grow on 1 meal a day, without steroids..even with steroids, i find it difficult..if I go more than 4 or 5 hours without eating, i feel flat and no energy...your body is built to digest food...this is a very extreme approach...
bigconan Chris Heris does it as well though & he doesn’t use roids
I guess if you're trying to lose weight it'll work...but it's not reasonable if you're trying to stay the same weight or add muscle...simple if you take in less calories than you burn off, you will lose weight...and if your normal calorie maintainence does is 3000 calories per day; it's impossible to get all 3000 calories in one meal...not without bursting and your body wouldn't be able to process all those calories in one sitting.
bigconan Herschel Walker has been doing this for years. One meal a day, no weightlifting, no steroids, and still stayed ripped and cut. I don't think everyone's metabolism can take it.
there are certain biochemical rules that apply to everyone...if you burn off more calories than you take in, you're going to lose weight and vice versa...this is a universal fact...now, hershal being over 200lbs, there is no way you can maintain that kind of muscle weight with just 1 meal...simply no way...now, if you're using that as a means to lose weight, then it will work great...or using it for short periods of time to clean out your system, then it will work good...but, you cannot maintain or gain muscle using a 1 meal per day schedule.
...and by using a little knife he also be training some insane patience - RESPECT haha
right with that little ass knife
What a funny comment, made my day :)
Right on!! what he didn't use a little bigger size knife? LOL
Issar
🤣🤣🤣
I feel you on the kid thing and I want to be in shape for my kids and live a long life too.
Who would dislike this, why? I'm loving this and putting it with my collective knowledge. True food for thought and action. Mike from the heart much appreciated.
this guys cool asf
DESTRAKON cool? His a moron thug
I like how you're calling someone a moron while your grammar is straight ass...
ladies and gentlemen, the internet.
@@DESTRAKON 😁😂🤣
@@DESTRAKON My thoughts exactly! People kill me trying talk about others in their comments and misspell words, use the wrong word and, or bad Grammer!
DESTRAKON need for the f word brother
Nice Mike - I do warrior diet & eat one big meal
- I feel energetic
- can lift heavy weight
- & I don't need any energy amino or supplement pre workout
I have been fasting for the last 4 months Mike never felt better. MY MIND IS SO CLEAR!
quenton thomas so is your stomach!! I'm sure
quenton thomas yea I did it for nine days felt the same way.
Gotta respect this mans honesty. He admits when he doesn't know something and why he thinks he might be right but also might be wrong. Much love. Do as he says but DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
Americans are too damn opinionated and critical, look at yourself! Go on doing your thing, brother.
Erwin agsalud agree with you...
Erwin agsalud Well said.
People are so quick to bring up shit about "America", man I see people of all nationalities being critical on here. Foreigners be itchin to say some shit about America lol. And to Mike keep doin ya thing man, if it works for you then all power to you. Forget the haters.
T. Brad how do you know he not American? lol and if ppl do so what shit we amwricans talk bout other countries the same way right.. just saying
I overstand...
Started today. Thanks for the videos. I hope I can stick to it. I'm 290 trying to get down around 250
I'm so glad I ran into this video because I have been saying to myself I want to eat to live, not live to eat and this video has inspired even more to eat healthy, stop drinking, and become totally fit. Thanks!!!!!!
Intermittent fasting plus plant based protein. Mike Rashid is the fucking man!!!
sergsrt8 he also eats animal protein
Salman Memon true. he limits his amount though and maybe eventually he won't be eating it
Plus a rake of D'Bol in the arse now and then .
Lol. and high does of tren
he's the man because he does IF, and eats plant based protein? lul
There is alot of good science to back up 1 meal a day.
I've lowered the meat in my diet lately also and increased fruit/veg intake
Thank you so much for being such an inspiration.. God bless you and your family on this cleansing journey for you .. the discipline and self respect for yourself has truly amplified me to create my own outlook in what I want for me and to redefine my goals. The structure in what you’re building for you leaves me in awe.. I thank you for being a rare breed of independence and incredible self worth.. please continue to be that amazingly untouchable father figure in your children’s lives.. the impact from then to now is forever rewarding.. take care Mr. Rashid.. keep going.
This doesn't sound like it's aimed as a 'one meal a day to bulk up' sort of thing, it sounds more like 'got the bulk, just need to lose the fat with one meal a day'
For those who are mistaking this for a one meal a day miracle
Mmmm makes more sense
im one of those tht thought tht...lol..thnks fr the heads up bro
This is true. You defs can’t bulk up like this
Steve David how much time do you save by not typing the letter a? never trust a man with two first names...
I thought that was funny too
You are dead on correct! Where did you learn this? I have known this for a few years but it is just in a small circle of people. Great job.
awesome i eat 1 meal a day :)
I do two meals a day And take no supplements or protein powder and I still look better than everybody else in the gym
@Havoc!!! if they used pesticides. That means it ain't organic. Duhhh
I Really Like Mike, He is REAL and that is Refreshing, after seeing so many of these videos ...Thanks, Mike!!
My friends mother has MS and she’s been doing intermittent fasting for almost a year now and she rarely has flare ups. Inflammation is a killer and I’m so glad you mentioned that. You really know your stuff.
mad respect on this video. you got me back on the Rashid train. keep up the healthy shit
cracked me up when you said you don't wanna build muscle to the point where you don't have a neck anymore. LMAO
Ray Lmn do it I'm slowly transitioning myself to eat only fish fruits and vegetables that's it. Feels great for natural energy
Gib Live 😂😂😂
Just discovered this dude. Man I love this guy. Dude comes across super honest and down to earth.
He said "that spicy sh*t, but if you can't hang you can't hang I ain't gon judge you" 😂😂😂😂 I love Mike!
OMAD....I gotta get back on this!!!! Especially after seeing this!!!! Yessir! Let's go!!!!
You're awesome dude. Really intelligent with the diet and obviously growing as a person every day
Im currently overweight and addicted to food but anytime i have had any success with losing weight its come on the back of one meal a day and i would eat anything and it still worked for me but i will always go back to eating throughout the day and late nights and end up gaining my weight back i am not gonna keep failing myself and find a consistent lifestyle of eating better THANKS MIKE
this guy is pretty real
He brought the smallest knife to the party. 😂😂😂!!!
He also brought the biggest guns
valentine sykes lol the innnanet hell lmao
I bake em too, sea salt and olive oil, thanks for this.
R.I.P Jack Lalanne he inspired me alot too, amazing guy.
Him: "If I have to fck one of them up imma be able to do that (talking about his kids)
Me: *subscribes* 😂😂
sonni the hungry yogi well your kids tend to try you when they in their teens thinking ur old
LMAOOOOO!!!😂😂😂
😂😂
OMAD is the most sustainable lifestyle ever. I don’t even feel hungry anymore and feel more energetic. I eat a ton of vegetables to break my fast then an hour later have my big meal filled with carbs and protein.
I do the same thing. Eat veggies to break my fast then enjoy my good carbs and proteins I never count calories and dropping weight. Some days I break the fast with bunch of fruits
@@victorassessing7 it takes all the annoying parts of losing weight out of the equation like counting calories, tracking macros, etc...
I love how you swear when you talk about vegetables! 😂
Rollo Larson: ...Or it is a passionate enthusiasm with a disregard for cultural norms. But who am I to judge?
Rollo Larson it's called passion and who are to judge what language he uses. It's your opinion and not the standard of life.
Jay Valadez lmao I said the same thing. Struggle knife. I see a bigger knife in the back
Jay Valadez, "I like to take on difficult tasks." lmao
Jay Valadez hilarious and so true.
I'm joked
I'm sooo dead.....😂 😂
Yo dude is hilarious! He speaking the truth though every since I've gone with a more plant based diet my life has drastically improved overall.
"If you can't hang, you can't hang. I ain't gonna judge you".
That’s how it supposed to be
one of your best videos. health over everything
Remember with such nutrient dense foods it's easy to stay full for the day. The body wants nutrients not just calories
eyeinsee then why tr do i want dat cheezburger fries, extra cheese ketchup and double BB8 drizzle?
Ubaid Shah you want those things because your body has become addicted to the chemicals of sugars in them
Ubaid Shah
Bro was on point when it comes to the stressful factors that accumulate when you’re mass building and consuming constantly ..💯 not many people will fill you in on that
I was just explaining this way of life to a friend and it popped up in my feed so Now i know it really works and others agree ty
I'm 511 and 240...I'm trying to get down to like 215
I learned this years ago reading How To Eat to Live Books 1 & 2. I did this for years and was in perfect health. Today I do intermitting fasting getting back to 1 meal a day. Fasting is the best for your health. Give your organs a break. Also when done properly you’ll see benefits FAST!
Brother great video. Have read "How to eat to live?" I eat once a day, 24 hr digestion, live longer.💪🏾
