This list for the most part is what I’d expect from BG watching his videos since the UC2 days but TLOU at 51 is wild my guy

Placing FF8 over FF9 was odd. FF9 is a top 25 game TBH. It should have been in the same range as FF10. I wasn't surprised that you didn't put a Zelda game on the list, but I respect the fact that you said you would have put Wind Waker on the list, if anything. I find it strange that you don't seem to be a Metroid fan; that's a Nintendo series that should be up your alley. You should get the Metroid Prime remaster and Metroid Dread.

Finally someone who doesnt care about impact. I just love games most that are actually the best and improved upon the classic formulas the most. I'm not gunna say some crap like "Space Invades and Tetris are GOATs" just cuz they were the first and had hella impact, cuz they are boring as hell to play now, at least for me. However, there is still certain old impactful games that are still amazing to me, like Half-Life 1(Not 2) for example, that game still fun AF to me to this day! And I had a blast playing the HL MMod. I know it's a hot take to say HL1 better than HL2, but IDC, cuz its fax. HL2 is good, but overhyped. HL1 is the true legendary and underappreciated game.
And FFX is better than FF7! I don't care FF7 has more impact. FFX did EVERYTHING better, hence way more fun. That's right, I said it. I also enjoy Dark Souls 3 more than Dark Souls 1, despite Dark Souls 1 was more impactful.
@Paraone Ngatai I'm sure it can be for some, but it just personally never clicked for me. Whenever I play Tetris, I play for like 10 minutes, then get bored and move on to something else.
Picking just a 100 games out of all the games out there is a tough job.
Most of these I wouldn't give a second look but interesting to see someones else's wildly different opinion.

Windwaker is a great Zelda game probably the best one with the original formula
Aside from a little bit of the arrangement and some games, this is actually a great list especially considering how critical and how not easily impressed BG is of games.

BG, you despise Hitman for its "hiding in plain sight" stealth system, yet Assassin's Creed 2 has its own familar stealth system? (regardless of when you're not in this state)

I was rockin wit the list till bf1 over bc2. People hated it n got abused into liking it. Not many weapons, maps ehh, destruction was a downgrade
Demon Souls over Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Dark Souls 3 is ridiculous.
I dont care if Demon Souls started it, vast majority of the bosses are are gimmick fights are straight ass, the areas are harder than the actual bosses, swamp area is damn horrible!(worst than Blight Town), permanently losing half health upon 1 death is insanely dumb and can only get it back from a rare ass item, permanently getting half health from 1 death is counter intutuive to the learning from dying style of Soulsborne, level design is mid, obtaining healing items is annoying ane too grindy, etc.
Dark Souls 1 improved upon all these faults times a million, plus with among the greatest level designs of all time. Thats why Dark Souls 1 was the real classic that put Fromsoft on the map, while vast majority of everyone never gave a crap about Demon Souls, especially before the PS5 Remake.
And he says Bloodborne doesnt rate higher cuz its mainly offensive and speedy. Um, thats one of the main reasons people love it so much. That's personal preference though I guess.

The MW2 reboot’s story has so many plot holes, and doesn’t even compare to the characters of the OG. Also, RDR2 might be the greatest story ever told in gaming, for you to leave it off the list for frivolous made up reasons like taking care of your horse is disingenuous.

When BG puts MW2 above TLOU when he's dumped 100s of hours in TLOU MP and an amazing singleplayer when MW2 only has a good singleplayer, you know he's logic is worse than Smooves. BG, been watching you for years but one thing I noticed is you try too hard to be different. It started with giving Tomb Raider 2013 your GOTY.
