It’s pretty obvious to me that Sony wants a current gen version available for any game that is getting a tv show or movie.

They required gameplay parity. Like the Series X can't have a MP mode that's not on the Series S. There are many games that don't have the same performance options on them.
Uncharted 1 & 2 & God of War 1 & 2 are the only Sony 1st party games I think deserves remakes right now.
Idk who at Sony believes Horizon is this huge IP that needs spin offs, TV shows and now a remaster. If anything they're hurting this IP if it ends up true, people already trash on horizon every chance they get. Engagement farmers will be eating good off this news

The only thing I can say is that most of us don’t see what the level of current first party content is that won’t be released for another year at least and maybe that motivating Sony leadership to push Horizon further, if it’s true.

so I guess 5+ outfits in Stellar Blade had major changes, coincidentally all to cover more skin, in rush jobs where they don't even redesign the outfit, they just add layers under it where it's not even real materials but it's just literally painted on her skin, was all a dream of mine and it didn't happen in reallity according to BG, also I guess all the reduced blood splatter ws a dream as well and it's still in the game, right BG?

Microsoft is waving the white flag. Now that's a sony pony thing to say. Microsoft is making money from playstation, while playstation is removing first party games from the subscription service to sell the remake of the same game.
Horizon Zero Dawn getting a PS5 'remaster' coming is no surprise. We're going to probably see more and more of these kinds of releases. We're probably gonna see like God of War (2018) as well. PS4 --> PC --> PS5 seems to be what they're doing. Odds are it's not a remake and more of a port of the PC version.
Idk man. Hellblade 2 is on a completely new engine that all the experts in examining that stuff say is demanding. All the UE 5 games have struggled. I am interested in what cutback need to be made to achieve 60 fps

So, The Last of Us Part One & Two are justified? Then why oh why was "Factions" not packaged with "The Last of Us: Part One" as a complete game? Lol. I say this overall. I don't mind games being remastered or remade in a long or short span. I just won't be paying full premium price. I don't mind the wait, it's not going anywhere, & there will be sales to come for it

It doesn't matter if factions 2 were releasing or not. The fact is that Factions was packaged with The Last of Us experience back in '13 & those that brought the remake & played for the 1st time got robbed of that. Same example for the Uncharted remakes or remastered. Are those justified for not including the multi-player component?
@@kevsgamingworld7718 if you remake factions 1 and then bring out factions 2, half a year later or a year max. wouldnt that render factions 1 redundant very quickly? Arent the new players just gonna hop on the newer one because its new.
Leaving the old one to crumble in that case whats the point of putting all our energy and time into that when we could put that into factions 2. I love factions but its not really smart from the corporation side... people were going to get factions until bungie shut it down...
The other multiplayers im not defending they should have added them, why because theres not another version of them coming on newer hardware that we know about thats the difference...
If you've ever followed the multiplayer of Naughty Dog games, you'll know that they tend to only have servers for one console at a time. TLOU Remastered was the exception until they closed the PS3 servers for Factions. Plus, if you want to play Factions, you'll need PS Plus, and if you have PS Plus, then you can just access the PS4 Remaster and play it there.
That's why the Nathan Drake Collection didn't have multiplayer, cause the servers were only on the PS3, and why the Legacy of Thieves Collection doesn't have multiplayer either.
PlayStation has been dropping the ball a bit. Remastering or remaking a game that is already available on your current platform is pointless.

The 10 year plan for Starfield will work once they release it on PlayStation. It’s not going to the greatest game ever, but it likely kely will hit between NMS and Destiny…but there has to be a large audience for it.

number one. They have a New horizon television show coming up so they want to raise the price of the original horizon. So when people go and buy it they pay more money. Also it looks as good as forbidden West
Second, they probably wasted all their time trying to make life service games and now the pivot is going to take an extra few years. So now they need to figure out a way to make revenue in the meantime.

Microsoft making moves like giving the first party's to Sony is actual compitulation. It's literally "we refuse to compete any longer, so take our resources; we're trying something different".
The reason Microsoft can say "PC is an Xbox" with little push back, is because in context it kinda makes sense. PC, an open platform where the majority of gamers run the latest Microsoft OS and various other Microsoft related software.
"Playstation is Xbox" will look more vivid when Sony allows Game Pass, Xbox logos, etc to exist in their store alongside Playstation Plus.
@@indiscretion. Sir, PlayStation Plus is powered by Microsoft Azure and the current top selling games on PlayStation are owned by Xbox. Phil Spencer has strategically assimilated PlayStation into an Xbox, no need to fight. Of course PS5 isn't as good as Series X, so it's technically the "less box" though.
@@EmmanuelA1that's not true, series x has not shown to be a powerful console. There is no example of a game to prove that. Series x is a dud. Most xbox players are on PC or series S. Either they have money for a PC or broke and on budget with the series s. It's already statically proven that xbox biggest market is their series s. 😅
