I’m itching so bad to play the The Last of Us 2 for the second time. But I’m waiting for the inevitable PS5 patch. I don’t care what anyone say that game is a masterpiece.
The last of us 2 is one of the only games that made me feel legit emotions like I was watching a movie. Just for that alone it’s my game of the generation. That level of storytelling is legit incredible and I hope the backlash doesn’t scare other devs away from thought provoking content.
For you mate is amazing understandable I just didnt like the some decisions and lack of characterization of some left bad taste in my mouth ,But gameplay is fun wished it had more open ended levels but its visually,animation wise and my god those envorements are really really impressive looking specially that fog effect

Tlou 2 was so unfairly maligned imo. The setting, the tone, the gameplay, etc. Are so insane.

2020 was such a great year for gaming. You love to see RE3R getting some love. It was a great fun game, just a bad remake. Final Fantasy 7 Remake was phenomenal

I don't know if the FF7 remake is my goty personally but it does have a lasting impact on me because i keep thinking about it and the period of time i was playing it in April and May. S/O to putting the crab warden boss fight in your clip which arguably has the best boss music in the game

Glad you gave some shine to Ori 2. I can’t stand how much it’s not talked about. BUT, I’m also glad you gracefully criticized TLOU2. My same exact criticism and feelings about the game. With better pacing, it’s easily one of the best games of all time.
The purpose of a game is to be fun so a more fun game is the better game.
May not be the better MADE game but if it's fun it's good

My top games are 13 sentinels aegis rim, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Hades, and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, FF7 remake and Streets of rage 4..that said, I never played the last of us..I've only watched people streamed..I liked what I saw , don't understand the hate at part 2 because it was a good story of how vengeance is an empty feeling at the end of the day..and there were real consequences for Joel's actions that reverberated to a cycle of vengeance..I still feel that Ryu Ga Gotoku studios is a studio that deserves respect for the story telling and their balance of being serious and goofy but done in such a way that feels earnest and genuine..
FF7 Remake is my GOTY too, followed by Ghost Tsushima and TLOU2.

I bought GoT 2 weeks before I got the PS5 and played about 40 hours . I was enjoying it on the base PS4 and when I got the PS5 it felt even better with the 60 FPS. I played half the game on my PS4 and finished the other half on my PS5. It felt like a next gen experience to me without buying a true natural PS5 game.
I ONLY thoroughly enjoyed 1 game:

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is number 1 in my book, a close tie for me for second is The Last of Us Part 2 & Ghost of Tsushima
I Will have to disagree, BG, TLOU I, when it came out, concerning consoles, had the best graphics yet, so I won't accept people saying graphics were not great for the time, they were freaking sweet.
And I will always defend TLOU I gameplay, loved that shit a lot, that is the reason I loved Factions, so in my mind, it never made sense you didn't feel much for that gameplay, but then loved Factions...
IMO, you cant love a MP, without adoring its gameplay.
I loved both, since I saw all your PT on part II, I know I will love it at least as much, so story aside, people calling this a bad game are dumb, you can't say it is a bad game when the gameplay is such a huge part and looks soo sweet.
Predictable list otherwise, a bit surprised Demon Souls got 3rd, not bad at all, and you played it 5 times, DAMM.
I managed to get the plat on PS3 in 3 PT max, after that, couldn't play it again, but those 60fps now sure are appealing!
My biggest problem with the length of FFVIIR is what they did with it. It had the disjointed feeling of being too empty in some areas (only a few obtainable summons, mini-game sections being severely limited) and being far too padded in others (the walking through the street in chapter 2, the factory travel with Barrett and Tifa, especially dealing with Aerith, whom this game had me not caring for, during the arm moving sections, etc) so I'm switching between bored and dissatisfied for the majority of my journey, especially having paid full price for it against my better judgment having played the demo first. That being said, I'm glad you found enjoyment in a title that honestly was the biggest disappointment for me this year in a game.
I can definitely agree that people will soften to The Last of Us 2 as the years go by, though if we still have people spiteful towards MGS2 since that release, we'll definitely have no shortage of people with something to the contrary here.
Couldn't agree more BG. As much as I loved The Last of Us: Part Two...FF7 remake just blew my mind. Although I will say some of the graphics when looking up close is coming out of some 16-bit pixel BS

Last Of Us 2 I will agree, Gameplay and Visuals alone will allow this game to be looked on favourably in future. I personally see it as a benchmark as to how far games have come. They story no matter how controversial is still a step up from alot of games we got this generation. Looking at it retrospectively I think Naughty Dogs goal must have been to just get people to emote in some way and they definitely did that be it a positive or negative emotion.

I mean pacing in last of us is bad but i understand they wanted us to hate abby and then love her to not spoil things earlier to make us fell bad because of our actions.idk but they could have paced it better.
I respect you admitting that FF7R wasn't the best game on the list, but was still your favourite. The inconsistency with the visuals really left me sour, and the final act, for someone who is brand new, confused the hell out of me. The sidequests were also bland, and I felt that it would have been a better game with about 15% thrown out. Still, I respect your opinion and I do look forward to FF7R Part II.

@@lxXSuddenDeathXxl no they didn't, theres way more content in new horizons than new leaf. It's way more advanced. I actually sold new leaf because how more advanced new horizons is. The fact that you can terraform your island and have infinitely item placement, those two things ALONE makes it better. It outsold everything this year the other consoles had to offer. No game is bigger than animal crossing new horizons as of right now .

@@lxXSuddenDeathXxl over a long period of time it does...especially if theres not a drop off. Animal crossing new leaf on the 3DS sold 13 million copies. Animal crossing new horizons DOUBLED that in 7 months and it's on it's way to 30 million by now. So it's not about how much a game sells but the "hold" of the sales as the franchise continues.

FF7 remake was iight and this is coming from a FF7 fanboy. I play the 1997 game every year. It's a timeless classic that most haven't even touched because they need their 2020 visuals. FF7R has crazy textures issues and wasn't even a remake...its a squeal. With fetch quests. I can see ppl who are not FF7 fanboys saying the remake was a masterpiece but it wasn't even close. That ending really killed it and i wouldn't expect dummys like Broken HD to understand
You 100% got robbed on quality mp games last gen, and by that the viewers who watched your channel before last gen so hopefully this gen brings more mp games, rogue company is dope though
