I have one in my garden! How lovely.
I saw my very first one in my garden today. What a beautiful little bird.
At 2;30 the young not experienced bird sits right on the seeds. Compared to the adults who use the edge of the feeder. I don't know what it is , but I can watch birds all day......Thanks for upload.

I've just rescued a baby goldfinch, the cat brought it in so have no idea where it's come from so can't go and put the poor baby back.. I've reared baby birds before successfully quite some years ago though. It's survived the night and seems bright and active, hasn't had much of a feed yet but managed to get baby bird mix and its been taking tiny bits frm it's beak, hopefully it will start to open its mouth properly so I can get a proper feed in to it.. I played this video while trying to feed it and it made it really alert looking around and cheeping.. Fingers crossed I'm not to rusty at this and I get another successful fledgling back where he/she belongs ;)

Paul Dinning thank you, Paul, I'm from Spain, ehemmm, you know.. Bullfight, San Fermin, my education is in this, but i like animals, i prefer a bull fighting in arena , no electric shoking in .. I d'ont know, my english is bad,, WE d'ont are a killers whitout soul, OK, i prefer this peace, but.. the exciting of fight, (excuse me, now, i only shots with my camera)

Blimey - you could feed a flock of Feral pigeons what a single goldfinch drops. Happens in our back garden every day
