- newwheel.net/load-75 Carry 3 kids with one facing the rider, or carry 2 bigger kids with the new "homework tray" or carry 2 kids plus an infant. There are 12 different kid-carrying setups configurable on the Load 75, and even a full sized rain cover. Full suspension, electric assist, and high quality components make for a supremely useful and satisfying package.
Great review! This is the most concise and fun review of this bike I've seen.
I love this bike so much!
Y'all so cute😘
So nice! :) This bicycle is my dream. I wonder how to transport it if I would like to make a trip in a different country. A car trailer could be a solution. It would be a challenge to organize such trip…
Yes, this is not the most transportable bike to be sure. Better for keeping for around your local area unless you've got a good transport option
Frame-wise you can actually take the Load apart in the middle, it's just four big bolts holding the cargo area to the head tube. I think the steering linkage also disconnects relatively easily and retains the adjustment once reconnected, the only challenge might be front lighting cables and hydraulic brake hoses (maybe you can just lay the rear half flat on top of the front half and leave them attached), but once this is sorted out the two halves should theoretically even fit into the back of a VW Golf with the rear seats folded.
Hi! Is this hard to do maintenance on by yourself? Or does it need to be handled by an authorized mechanic?
Many things you can do - like maintaining tire pressure, lubing your chain etc - but there are things that you will likely want to go to an authorized mechanic for - like annual services.
Is there away to get a full rain top for the person cycling and the cargo?
How tall is Karen? My wife is 4'9" and we are considering the Load 60
Karen is around 4'11". I would highly recommend a test ride just to make sure it is a good fit. Stop by if you are in the area!
@@thenewwheel Thanks. We went to a shop here in Denmark and tried it out and with the seat slammed it almost fit, but with the 152mm cranks we are going to put on it, it will fit fine :)
How much?
do you have a pretty penny?
It really does depend on how you configure your bike. The Load 75 starts at around $7k.
I ride a Load 60 for 3 years now. It is worth every(!) Dollar (Euro for me) :) I combine it with a kids trailor, so there is plenty of space if i need.

Please make unboxing an argocargo bike
Every time you show the video it's of the bike on 'flat' ground. But this is San Francisco and the Bay Area......why don't you show what the bike can do going up hills. You did say something about taking the family 'camping'. When you go camping it's usually in the mountains and that means......yes "HILLS".....so all your
talk is really superficial until you can show what the bike can really do. For 7k it better be able to do more than go shopping with the kids..
Wesley Wong good points. I guess we just kind of take the hill climbing for granted on any self respective cargo bike. For this go around you will need to take our word for it that the Load can climb any hill. If extreme hill climbing is important, than I would definitely recommend the “Touring” setup with the Bosch CX motor and 11-speed derailleur.
@@thenewwheel Also worth mentioning the new 2020 Bosch Motor System is on its way and it will offer a specific Cargo Line Motorsystem with a 400% Assistlevel in the Turbo mode. The actual motor is good for climbing but the new one will kick hills asses.
@@enaane the 2020 models from R&M will also offer the Load 75 with the Rohloff 14-speed rear hub. This is the hardware to have for hills.
@@tompaah7503 The 2020 Load 75 also features the offroad tires, wich is pretty handy when cycling on gravel!
$10,300.?!?!?! Get the fuck outta here!
