You are the only guy out here that I trust for tool tips. Much needed in this industry.

Before I retired, I was a maintenance of repair supervisor for container chassis yard for a large company. I have seen some very scary repairs done to the trailers electrical systems by fokes that should never have had a tool bag in their rigs. With that being said, I wish that drivers would have left notes in the doc holder explaining what they had done to at least give the mechanics a fighting chance to make their flat rate money to go to fix the problems. Just found your channel, will keep watching, good luck.

Always said the most dangerous person in the world is a truck driver with a sharp pointed test light !

Sometimes stuff blows after your pretrip, while you are driving. Using the flashers to cover for not having tail lights, just to get to a safe place to repair or get repaired, is a good way to NOT get hit.
Please do not attempt to repair your lights while stopped on the shoulder of the road. Use the flashers to get to a safe place.

You make a valid point. After all, it is the vibration which most often causes wires and hoses to rub through. My concern is for those drivers who just keep pushing instead of stopping at a rest area or service shop to address the problem.

Never replace a fuse with a higher rated fuse , Never ! Use a small pair of locking ( ViceGrips ) for a good ground attachment point . Do not buy a Garbage Freight test light . Amazon has a variety of good quality test lights for $11.00 . Carry small wire strippers , couple feet of 12 gauge wire , electrical tape and wire nuts .

Why don't you become a Amazon seller with the link so others can instantly bring them to the needed tools. Thanks for doing good.

My philosophy is that company drivers should never pay for tools that stay on the trucks. The carriers make (& hoard) plenty of money, & they benefit greatly from drivers who do their own repairs instead of calling for roadside service or having a mechanic do it all. Unless you have a company credit card linked to your online shopping accounts, you're spending your own hard-earned money on tools which the company should buy. That's just my thought on it.
Of course, drivers certainly benefit from a tool bag, as well, because, in this industry, time is limited & miles are money.
That said, I will consider your suggestion, though my channel is hardly large enough to make any difference.
