Love your content!!! I have been on this journey a few years and it gets better and better!!! (And I have healed from Depression/anxiety/ocd issues I had since 8 years old, and 95% recovered from Fibromyalgia and POTS, have healed migraines, IBS, back pain, jaw pain, frequent urination, allergies and so much more). I also really like Somatic Experiencing, somatic exercises (classes from the Workout Witch that I think come from Feldenkries Somatics), and TRE as well.
I have watched your somatic anger exercises video almost daily for the last 60 days and doing these anger exercises the whole time and that with the other things have lead to quite a bit of healing. I haven't had the "unconscious unlocking" yet that is spoken about with ISTDP though, do you know anything about that?
Thank you! If a contraction has no story that's no problem - you can still work with it. Just staying present with it and resourcing (bringin a hand to it or similar) is a great first step. Maybe bringing a bit of movement into it by breathing into it letting it contract and expand. You can also ask it questions to see what is beneath it (even if there is no narrative that arises) so something ilke "are you angry? Or are you afraid? Or are you ashamed?" and see which emotion resonates.

But what to do with contraction with no story?
