    Thank you for taking the time to record YOUR tips and posting them FOR FREE. I don't think some people get that. Ridiculous to leave unnecessarily negative feedback where none is warranted. Keep doing what you do, how you do it and when you do it, and keep sharing videos for those of us who appreciate them, like me.

  • @burkequindara
    @burkequindara 9 років тому +27

    I wanted to be the one to give you positive feedback because all I've been reading so far are negative ones! I believe you should keep your ends as long as you please because it's YOUR hair and YOUR decision. Also, I thoroughly understood your tips and they were helpful. If people cannot understand or do not agree with you, there are always OTHER videos they can watch! No need for someone to take the time to comment on someone else's video with negativity when they took time out of their day to record tips/benefits for YOU! There's a difference between constructive criticism (if they welcome it) and disrespect...

    People need to stop attacking other people for asking if she's mixed. It's just a question, and it doesn't automatically mean that they think no full black woman can have this kind of hair. They may genuinely be wondering. It seems like people are just looking for an opertunity to fight. Why not answer them with a positive response instead of trying to make someone feel bad.

    • @kaneshap.6146
      @kaneshap.6146 10 років тому +7

      Seriously. I had so many ridiculous accusations because I asked a simple question. I didn't ask if she was mixed because I thought black people couldn't have long hair. I asked because of her curl pattern. People do too much sometimes. Lol

    • @pinkqueenscookie
      @pinkqueenscookie 10 років тому +20

      Ka H I think that's why people get annoyed, full Black people are not all 4C lol. And we all know it's not just hair to many Black people, unfortunately......

    I love your hair, I just referred someone to come to your channel to see that transitioned hair can be just as healthy and beautiful...you are a great example for showing that it's no need to rush and chop off hair, hair will grow regardless.

    For those people who want to have all-natural hair without chopping off all of their hair and starting from scratch, transitioning is the way to go. You let your hair grow in without a relaxer, and keep it moisturized and protected so that it grows in healthily and doesn't break off from the previously relaxed ends of hair. Over time, and a few trims here and there, you end up with more natural hair and less relaxed ends while still retaining length. I know that was a lot, but I hope that helps!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos! I did a 7 mos stretch and now I'm trying to learn how to maintain healthy hair especially since I live in Aruba which is a DRY dry dry climate. I don't think you should be concerned about how OTHERS view your use of heat because you've learned how to take care of your hair and keep it healthy. It's great that you remind the viewers that everyone's hair is different and that's the point. Your hair looks great! Thanks for the tips!

    I think some of you are rude and close minded yourselves. Some people are new to the black hair world. I remember some tears back how surprised and fascinated I was When I discovered we as black women can grow such long and beautiful hair. So if someone asks ARE YOU MIXED? Don't be quick to say they're disrespectful and ignorant, instead educate them because it's not their fault that they don't know and are now seeking to know. Grow up.

    I know this is an older video but I wanted to say thank you. I actually am starting late in the game, as I found out a year ago I have an auto immune disease along with a few other ailments and got upset at losing my hair by the handfuls every time I washed so I did what it seems all the crazy women do. I buzzed my hair to the skin. Yes al a Brittney Spears. But the good thing is, I have been natural for a year now. I have braided, wigged, and weaved. I feel my hair is finally at a stage that I can wear it out, I just needed some tips AND education on the beauty of natural hair. :) Your curls are to DIE for and the style I am aiming for in the next year or two. Im about at shoulder length if straight. So here goes everything. Thanks again for being part of the many women that choose to share.

    very beautiful. Your hair is gorgeous! i love the definition of your twist out. I lost patience with transitioning and my relaxed hair started to come out in clumps... but i didn't really know what i was doing when managing the two textures lol. IF you'd like to try creating more curl towards the ends of your hair you can try perm rods at the ends of your twists. my aunt has to do that because she has a looser curl pattern. especially at her ends.

    Beautiful hair. When I tried to transition my hair would just break off at the relaxed part. So I have been slowly trimming my end and I'm at the point where the relaxer is almost grown out. Kind of scared and excited at the same time about being completely natural. But I will still color my hair though lol

    My hair is nowhere near as long as yours (yet), but I use butterfly clamps to section off my hair. My hair is a mess to detangle too, but when I have it sectioned, it makes it SOOOOO much easier to detangle, especially since I didn't have a deep conditioner until recently. Good luck on your hair journey! :D This video was very insightful!

    Hi! I just subscribed to your channel! I am transitioning (9 months so far) and you have some really cool videos. You have awesome tips and I am learning more about transitioning. I think I will tweak my routine and try some of the tips you gave. I have a few questions: 1. Did you have a lot of breakage? 2. How long was your hair before the transition? 3. Did/ do you trim your ends at all? 4. How do you preserve twist out/curls? 5. What is your curly/twist out routine? Thank you!

    @jujubeautiful1... It's not heat damage, not is it weave. The ends of her hair are relaxed from a relaxer. She's transitioning(growing out her natural hair as she may cut out the relaxed hair little by little). People should read and pay attention before posting incorrect comments...

    the cheapest place to get gbp is online vitaminshoppe, vitacost, and luckyvitamin tend to have it cheaper than on the ground. this conditioner is very thick and i dilute mine with filtered water ( don't use tap water). A bottle typically last me about 2.5-3 months and my longest layer is bsl but I shrink to shoulder length. If you use ebates or mr.rebates you'll get cash back on your purchase as well.

    I heard a lot of good reviews about that conditioner so i bought it off amazon and tried it straight away. Its a really thick consistency and i quite liked it. However, after i washed it out, my hair was sooo dry and really rough (my hair is really soft naturally). So i searched online about it and i realised that my hair is protein sensitive (one of the main products of that conditioner is a protein. So i would say if you know your hair is protein sensitive, its probably not for you. If you're not then i'm sure its a brilliant product as those who have reviewed it have had good results.
