Nice
Amazing video, keep it up.
Also if u dont mind, can you do a video of how to take measurements on an actual body, I'm new in the sewing stuff so I dont know how to do measurements on a body, it will be really helpful. Thank you.....
Thank you , am trying out and will give feedback❤️
What are the measurements from shoulder to shoulder? I think having that piece of information omitted is really confusing me, because I'm working with a measurement of 11 inches from shoulder to shoulder and so if I draw a line of 5.5 inches, of which two inches of that is the shoulder strap, then the shoulder strap will be cutting into her neck. If you could clarify the shoulder-shoulder measurements, that will help. Also, how come you went down the back six inches in the step before drawing the bust line instead of the neck length? In the measurements for my dress, the neck to bust measurement is five inches and so how do I adjust the six-inch line in your video at the 1:12 mark to accommodate the measurements I took off my model? Lastly, how did you determine the lengths of the diagonal lines in your video?
Hi! I made the pattern yesterday. It came out perfect but i was curious about the straight line from shoulder for the arm hole. You measured it at 6” (1:09). Is that a standard measurement for 32 bust? Or calculated from something? For my pattern, i simply took 0.5” more than shoulder. Was i right?
Hey! This pattern is based on 32” bust size. On your body, measure from shoulder to armhole, that should give you the measurement.
Keep darts backside so that the dress will sit very correctly
Thank you very much, it is easy to understand even without someone talking and it is simple. I watched other video but your video made me understand it in a very easy way, thank you
Hi, I need to make a princess bodice for my grandchild. She is 11 years old; how do I know the length of the lines as I noted that you use your own measurements. Are there some areas I must know of except the body measurements?
❤thank u
Hi thanks for the tutorial. Do you have a video of you creating something with this pattern?
Hello how are you doing? Do you have custom pattern manufacturing service
It's clear and easy to understand. Thanks for making this video. Can you make a video on basic bodice with waist dart?
Is this UK 10 size
Please also show how to draft bottom umbrella
After watching so mny of the diys pattern tutorials i landed here explained so well n understandable tysm ❤
Back neck width...?
I make one of this but its not good at the armhole is too loose😢 i dont know why i just follow the video but it turns out failed😢
I’m not sure I understand. How do I measure bodice length?
For bodice length, measure from neck to waist (or required length of top/bodice)
42and44 best
Hi, just one doubt…in this video while making the pattern, you have never mentioned the front neck depth. Can i know the reason please
Can you say it what is for the measurements and the lines your making? I want to hear what is that for 7:31 than reading it
Hey! Are you talking about the slant line I drew on the shoulder? It’s drawn because our shoulders are not straight. Draw a slant line 1cm down from the shoulder
34/36 cutting plz
44 beden ..patrone plase ölçüler kalıp yaparmisiniz .!?🥰
Bhai kuchh bologe nhi to kaise samjh aayega
Unfortunately, I don't understand where some numbers come from. it would be great if I knew where, for example, the 10" at 5:31 and then the 4" came from. where does this come from? And the first number of 5.5". And then +2" or +1". Why?
5.5" is half of shoulder width measurement. 1" at 1:32 is seam allowance. 1" at 1:48 is for ease. 1" at 2:05 is for seam allowance. 10" at 5:31 is to mark the apex point (shoulder to nipple).
At the back part u took 1/4of waist+1+1.. i can understand 1for seam allowance bt can't understand what for the other (+1)...so plz can u tell me the reason ❤
Unfortunately this worked disastrously when I tried it on a big bust gal. It's probably good for thin people though
I don't understand.
Not clear
Can you show us the result for using this pattern, please 🙏

Hey very nice explanation. Do you have stitching tutorial for same
Hey! Thank you! You can watch the stitching tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/OPAU0RlEbNs/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Quick question: After creating the pattern pieces, will I still need to add in seam allowances around the whole pattern? I wasn't sure if the seam allowances were already taken into account when first drafting.
Hey! Seam allowance needs to be added to the center front, center back, neckline and the princess line. No need to add seam allowance on the side seam and armhole.
@@BrownGirlDIYs Got it! Thanks again! ❤️
How 5.5 instead of the full shoulder measurement?
@@JenniferAnidu
The shoulder strap doesn’t go till the edge of the shoulders for a sleeveless blouse like this. Hence the 5.5” measurement instead of the regular half of the shoulder width measurement.
Blessings to you
If I’m cutting the center front on a fold do I still need to add a seam allowance?
