Great video. I wish the pics you put on the profile for us to open the video, were truthful to the actual material and v-neck design that is on the picture. Please use accurate pictures next time for your videos
The back is S-shaped and doesn't have bust. Therefore, the back should be shorter than the front bodice. The purpose of the side dart is to lift the front bodice from the side so that it will coincide with the back bodice on the side seam. The dart also makes the bodice adhere more to the stomach area. Therefore, giving the bodice a more flattering look.
I like the way you patiently explained your instructions and how clear and confident you shared your knowledge. I can’t wait to see your next post regarding this further sewing. Thank you I learned something 🎉❤
There are male patterning videos. They work well for boxy shapes without much curves. Soften some angles to appear more feminine. However, they shape well to flat line figures as they are.
Thanks for this video!! Would you please show us how you take measurements. I would reallt appreciate the visual. Love the video. I am big busted so the video that shows precisely how to take the measurements will help immensely. Thank you very kindly!😁
Thanks Joan. That's excellent teaching to me. Which simple book can buy to study more, apart from matrix Tailor's bk? Is there any book for free cutting on draft.😢 Mmm- Uganda.
Hi, appreciate your sharing of knowledge through this video. If I may ask you my doubts regarding this, I wanted to know, when you cut the neckline shape, your ready shoulder on back block didn’t go small then the ready shoulder on front block… ? Since, I think, I saw you taking more neck wide cut on back from shoulder line than the front … pls tell me did the shoulder of both the blocks front and back match and don’t we have to take extra margin on seams for the stitching as well. Your video was very informative and can you please explain the stitching also… thanks a ton for your effort.
Hy femaans Just start small the basics. The basic bodice , skirt , pants or whatever knowledge you have, from there you would grow. All the best love 😍

Good job. But please, how many inches down the armhole did u place the side dart?
To get chestlline:bust÷6,+1.5+1inch for shoulder slope .
The bust dart is 2 inches wide
Merci de France pour ce partage. Ce patron conviendra t'il que pour du stretch ou bien pour du tissu aussi. Bonne continuation
Thnks for watching
Yes you can use stretch, but you don't need seam allowance
Thanks but why the breast dart at the front? Throw more light please 😊

Does the dart size change according to the person's bust size? Love from Sri Lanka❤
Hy, thnks for watching.
Yes standard dart is 2 inches , plus sizes I recommend you use 2.5 inches
I learnt something, quite precise and detailed as well; Thanks 🙏🏽❤️

Is that the style for a Mom and a son. Any thing that is trained by the African always make me to waste my fabric and my time.

you are doing a great job.why is the back length shorter than the front.
Thank you
Thnks.
Because of the bust, the front is longer than the back.
You could test that by measuring yourself
Thanks for this video!! Would you please show us how you take measurements. I would reallt appreciate the visual. Love the video. I am big busted so the video that shows precisely how to take the measurements will help immensely. Thank you very kindly!😁
