Hello guys, if ever you are wondering why I used two different bonings, it is because I want to showcase on how to insert or apply these two different bonings on the corset, and also to have a comparison between the two. Honestly, the reason why I didn't use Rigilene Boning to all of my seams is, I really do not prefer using this technique. Aside from it takes a lot of effort and time, for me it ruins the aesthetic of each seam. Inserting the plastic boning on the other hand is very easy. By the way if you prefer to use Steel Boning instead of a plastic boning, go for it! I just don't like using it because Steel Boning is not easily accessible here in the Philippines, aside from that you need a lot of tools to modify each steel boning according to the size or length. So there you go I hope this clarifies everything and I hope you enjoy this tutorial. I've shot this a week ago and been editing this video for about 5 days. and I would appreciate it if you share this video to your friends who are enthusiastic with sewing or patternmaking. And if you are new to my channel I have a separate tutorial for the Corset Top Pattern-Making: ua-cam.com/video/8O1ljiR67QA/v-deo.html
Great! My dream dress requires the bodice I asked about. When pattern drafting, would the only difference be that I continue that strapless line and make it tighter on the sides?

hello! do we need interfacing if the material is already thick? i used satin duchess
With duchess satin, yes I recommend still using a fusible interfacing like Hair cloth.
Thank you for sharing. My cat destroyed my notes on haute couture pattern design. Thanks again ❤️❤️❤️
Luuuuh ask you classmates sayang yun 🥺
Thanks
Adorable❤❤❤
May I know where you got your interfacing fabric? All I see on Shopee is interlining-is it the same?
Search for haircloth instead of interlining
Hello, why did you use two types of bonnings? Thank you such much!
To show how difficult it is to use rigilene versus plastic. And it is also my own preference to use two types of bonning. Ekamakielam. 😇
do you have the link of the hole puncher? I have one but it is for leather. It cannot punch on fabric
Pwede yan kasi yung sakin leather hole puncher din.

Does a corset like this look good on a bigger bust
I am not sure, since I have a small bust. May try it and see how it goes?
Cool I will
Would it be possible to convert the pattern into a strapless corset and make it a tulle corset?
Yes! Of course you can. As a patternmaker or designer exploring different techniques and using different fabrics is very much possible. 😇

what’s the name of your fabric please?
