It may not be in relation to the video but it is with the comment. They were merely mentioning someone else who Irene is comfortable with and it just happened to be a BTS member. If it was any other group you would have been fine with but since it's BTS of course it's a problem. 100% I believe that Jackson intentionally did this, because the manner in which he did it was very typical of him. Never acting in a pseudo-chivalrous way with hopes of eliciting a response from onlookers.. just a natural and subtle gentleman. He is very tactful.

Most of us joked about how she's a queen and she hates men and stuff like that lmao. But one time I thought abt what happened to her that she was very shy and seemingly uncomfortable with men. But then I found out that she was a very shy person. Even with female idols. Proof is when Red Velvet was in Idol Room (I forgot when it came out) and the hosts were asking abt her friendship with Jennie. She mentioned herself that she was a person and Jennie even came up to her first in a salon where both of them go to.

She needs it, VERY MUCH needs it, but she doesn't show it. She wants a comforting shoulder to give support to her, but she can't. Its because, since her debut, she took the role as a leader seriously. She knew the other members depended on HER for strength and she was like a supporting pillar to them, both as a leader and a mom. She said it herself, when she wanted to cry, she would do it alone, so that others wouldn't see her, because if they saw her, the one supporting pillar for them that they could believe in and look up to in times of need, breaking down in front of them like this, they would feel the struggles she has to go through and she doesn't want to do that. That made her tougher on the outside. Reveluvs know her as a softie and sweetheart, but to others she gained the name as "ice princess" mainly due to this (and some of it due to being shy around those whom she doesn't know on a personal basis). But as times went, things got better for Red Velvet, and since the others were growing up, they began to realize what Irene went through during early debut, and didn't put much pressure on her. Irene is still the mom of the group but she doesn't need to be that ice -princess anymore. She is going out of that stage though, but very slowly. Irene doesn't hate men. Its the look she registers around strangers. Girls are biologically (yes BIOLOGICALLY, as in your brain. No gender stereotypes) more on the emotional side they connect with each other more than with males. Combine this with Irene's shyness and you get Irene's "hatred of men". Also, Jackson was the MVP. I never liked San E, but he should know better than to touch a girl like Irene whom he doesn't know on a personal basis (I mean, even SUHO fears to TAP her shoulder to call her). I like Jackson, that dude is a perfect representation of what a guy should be to women. People thought he was jealous. If they knew about Jackson, they wouldn't have thought so.

Jackson is an absolute sweetheart and he's so genuinely nice to the women in his life. Since this was just pictures, the actual clip you can really tell he swooped in to save her. This was an event to showcase the friendship between South Korea and Vietnam, it was lighthearted but also serious. Irene and Jackson seemed to respect the situation and know that they are being ambassadors for the K-pop industry. San-E was just goofing around and flirting with Irene when she was not into it. I'm so glad Jackson was there to stop him, I can't even imagine how the situation would've been just them two.
