I hate this "the show must go on" thing when a person literally COLLAPSED on stage 😤 they shouldn't be forced nor should have the mentality of "I can do this" when they aren't feeling well. We should normalize their absence on performances when they're (or almost) sick

hey were under slave contracts at that time. They were contracts which said if the members did anything in front of the camera that the company did not explicitly tell them to, the company could file for breach of contract, and they could be arrested, especially on those times. The members actually went to visit the Dancer in hospital with flowers and they were crying and apologising profusely.
Also, remember, in those times, the company could essentially indirectly kill the members if they didn't do what they wanted.
I'm not excusing the fact that the Dancer should've gotten help straight away, but the members couldn't do anything.
Plus, with all those effects, I'm sure anybody could of had a seizure.

You can be near over heated sitting still with bad cramps. Trying to dance through it will definitely cause fainting. Most women use ibuprofen if they have painful cramps though. It still makes you tired that day. If she was feeling fine before the show started, she might have not had a chance to grab some advil when she started cramping though.

6:10 what makes this much worse is that they pulled her from the stage. When someone has a seizure you shouldn’t really touch them unless you are in the medical field and know what to do bcs the one who has the seizure can get injured really fast and bad but also the one who is holding the person. So when you ever see someone having a seizure there is not much you can do except of course calling an ambulance, try to put smth soft under their head so that they don’t suffer from a head injury and make sure that they can’t hurt themselves with things around them so try to get rid of them

11:57 I couldn't help but wonder if that was a sudden period cramp. One of the things most people forget to consider about female idols is that, well, they're women. Periods cause blood loss, temperature change, low pressure and in some cases weakness and constant pain, and even if you're well trained it sometimes can be very hard to go through it while dancing, jumping and singing on a stage full of lights...

Dreamcatcher is my favorite for many reasons, but the biggest being for that if someone goes down, their montra is to help them back up and if they can't get up, you stop right then and there and help them anyway. But yeah, Backup dancers get the short end of the stick unfortunately.

They were under slave contracts at that time.

Add weather, high energy moves like these idols do, poor diets trying to stay slim, lack of sleep from appearances, heavy clothing some of the groups wear, I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often. @ShuhuasREAL No, he was keeping her head elevated which is the right thing to do when someone passes out cold like that. However, he shouldn't have been so rough and should've immediately called for water so he could use it to help her come back, not her drinking it but just to splash cold water in the face helps bring them back faster.
Happened to Siyeon of Dreamcatcher a while back. Like in 2018 when they were going nonstop and she forget to drink water that morning, well she nearly passed out during warmups and felt really lightheaded but wanted to power through it until her body shut down and all the others were left asking what the problem was. Luckily, since Dreamcatcher care about each other, they wouldn't let her keep going.
After that show, they all had agreed on a routine that they still do now, eat and drink water plenty before every show so you're not so dehydrated.
