I'm not a BTS fan really, but what happened with Jin was super disturbing and makes me sad. A lot of really well-meaning fans turned out for that free hug event and were respectful. All it took was a handful of intrusive and disrespectful "fans" to taint it and that makes me sad for the people that showed up willing to follow the rules and give Jin the welcome home that he deserved.

Okay as someone who learned to walk runways from modeling coaches, Jennie's walk is good. The type of walk completely depends on the event and if you look at the other models, she's walking in the exact same way so it's likely what was asked of her. Not every runway requires a fast, powerful walk
It doesn't have to be fast, but she looks like she's trying desperately not to fall over. For someone w/a lot of dance training she sure is missing grace.

I’m in no way an expert in either runway or dance. But I’ve seen plenty of”weird” or rather different/unconventional walks. They were meant that way and perfectly executed by the models. This walk isn’t weird, it’s just not the fast-strong walk sometimes seen. And since Jennie is also a very good dancer and can probably walk in most shoes/heels just fine I’ll go with “designers choice” over “Jennie can’t walk”. She looked elegant

Jennie’s walk isn’t bad for sure, I learned how to walk from modeling coaches a few years ago and while it’s not amazing outstanding insanely different… but there’s nothing actually wrong with it. The other models look similar to her so it’s probably the type of walk the show asked for. I’m just surprised she’s walking at all since she’s so short lmao
Jennie was probably scared af, and one thing about model walk is, like singing, you have to do it with confidence. But whatever hesitation you see, it's hardly worth tearing her down for it. Empathy goes a long way. As for the Hybe via BeLift stunt, you left out the "best" part: the doctored photos trying to make it look like other girl groups before NJ used soft color palettes in their hanbok shoots.

Sadly, some people can't take blame and/or don't want to stop "doing the thing" (in this case CA). When they do something wrong, it's easier for them to make the offended/hurt party the bad guy rather than admitting they effed up. I suspect it’s actually just haters, not fans and not black people. There’s a lot of energy put into getting negative things trending in kpop. I don't think there's anything wrong with the overall speed of Jennie, but the way she walked was not pretty. It did nothing for the dress and I understand why people did a double take. Chanyeol's and Junmyeon's festival performance was canceled because the organizer isn't legit. This often happens with European "kpop festivals". They always claim a big kpop idol or group is gonna come and end up canceling that artist for "organizational reasons", which usually means they don't have the money, or claim an artist would come who they didn't even book at all. The statement of the organization also said it was due to their circumstances, not SM's. I agree it looks sus that it happened at the same time, but SM wasn't the reason, they miss out on money by canceling themselves so it makes 0 sense.

Jennie’s walk isn’t bad for sure, I learned how to walk from modeling coaches a few years ago and while it’s not amazing outstanding insanely different… but there’s nothing actually wrong with it. The other models look similar to her so it’s probably the type of walk the show asked for. I’m just surprised she’s walking at all since she’s so short lmao

Chanyeol's and Junmyeon's festival performance was canceled because the organizer isn't legit. This often happens with European "kpop festivals". They always claim a big kpop idol or group is gonna come and end up canceling that artist for "organizational reasons", which usually means they don't have the money, or claim an artist would come who they didn't even book at all. The statement of the organization also said it was due to their circumstances, not SM's. I agree it looks sus that it happened at the same time, but SM wasn't the reason, they miss out on money by canceling themselves so it makes 0 sense.
