Wow, this is actually pretty impressive. Coming from someone who has an older Anker power bank that is charged by micro usb, it would normally take 1 - 2 days to fully charge. So the fact this can charge all three that high and be recharged that quickly is worth it
@@boobwizard-420 You just put me on bro. These are awesome. I'm going to get one for my camping/motorcycle trips. Just don't think it'd be feasible for a plane.
You shouldn't be surprised as that power bank was never going to charge all those devices! You seem to have a Macbook 16" there. That has capacity of just under 100Wh. The Anker has a nominal capacity of about 86Wh (considering efficiency around 72Wh). So with the phone as well, the results are quite expected.
I have an old 5yo Anker 15k battery still using micro usb input and 2 usb a outputs. It still works great, but it takes forever to charge. Upgraded to one of these bad boys and its awesome.
3:00 Some note here: Trickle charge doesn't mean that it charges the devices with less wattage. It just disables the auto-shutoff for a few hours so that the powerbank won't go directly in standby if the connected devices are only consuming a small amount of power. This way small devices like earbuds or watches can keep charging. Otherwise the powerbank would think that the devices only consume this little amount of power because they are fully charged and would shut down. It also helps to power small devices like BT-receivers or tiny PCB-Computers, which the powerbank wouldn't recognise by their power consumption. Otherwise great video! PS: for some fun, this powerbank has some hidden emotes: if you keep holding the powerbutton it shows two blinking eyes if you rotate it too many times, it gets sick with some spiral eyes if you click the powerbutton to to many times it shows some angry eyes

it charges in 45 minutes with a 140W power adapter , but what is impresive you can get 50% in 20 minutes , because is charging so fast I had instances where the power was reduced because of heat unfortunately , so to charge it at @130W I had to put it on something cold that could absorb the heat , also it can power the Macbook Pro 16 with 140W , exactly like the wall charger for that laptop , indeed this has become my favorite power bank and I have @ 15 of them all high power
So to charge Anker 737 with 140w I can use my (MacBook's Pro 16' 2021) wall charge and it will be 140W? And does it gives 140W back to my MacBook's Pro 16' 2021 and maybe you know from 0 to 100 is it possible to charge it? Will be so glad for your reply

I just got one after some debate. And it sure is amazing as your video shows! It's quite cool being able to watch the battery charge up so quickly on my 94w MacBook charger. I got it since my MacBook Pro is older and has a weak battery. Now I can go out with this and be able to last longer if I don't have access to an outlet.
Helpful for sure, but at times you can't see the screen of the charger to see what it's doing, how quick it's reacting due to reflections on the screen there.
I've been on a search for the perfect large PowerBank. But small enough to be allowed on planes. I thought I had settled on the OmniCharge (which is f'n awesome) but returned it for this just because this one is so cool and more portable. Is it perfect no? Is it the best available for me? I think so.. The OmniCharge had a wall plug and wireless charging but it was worth giving that up for this one because I would hardly use the wall plug and the wireless is cool but not necessary on the go. One day maybe there will be one that is perfect on every way but for now this seems to be as close as I can get. It's fun for me to nerd out about these. I love power banks.
Mine won’t charge the power bank and my device at the same time which is a HUGE bummer for me. All my others have charged both. Also, the actual power was misleading. Not happy
I own this power bank and overall like it. It does have some weird behavior, when charging DJI Mini 3 Pro batteries in the charging block, it max's out at 18 watts. The Dji charging block typically charges between 30-36 watts. I contacted Anker about this and they blame DJI which I think is ridiculous because my other power banks charge the mini 3 batteries like expected. Another thing is when using an older Anker 60 watt charger I can only get this to charge at 45 watts, again it's not the charger, it works fine on other stuff. It also does not have the 12 volt PD protocol, not a huge deal but should be noted. Using this to charge anything Apple branded works perfectly. I like this power bank but wish they made the firmware updateable. Can anyone explain to me why manufacturers are excluding the 12 volt power delivery protocol? I see this is common on many chargers.
they might not do 12V because of something to do with the GAN technology, I have one of their new charging bricks with similar GAN hardware and it can only do 5,9,15, or 20v
As far as i know 12 volt isn't an official part of the PD2.0 spec. It was also nowhere mentioned in the official presentation of the USB-IF. It was part of PD1.0 but got replaced with 9 and 15 volt later. It can be included optionally, but as its not mandatory a lot of devices sadly don't support it.
We have done a lot of tests on the DJI Mini 3 Pro. Here are some findings. DJI's Charging Dock states that it supports power input 5V==3A,9V==3A, and 12V==3A, but our power bank cannot support 12V==3A. So the DJI charging dock will negotiate the power input with our power bank at 9V. But when we connect the DJI charging dock to our power bank, we find that the dock only asks for 9V==2A at the first, so our power bank only gives 9V==2A. That's why you will find the real output hovers around 18W. But sometimes the dock doesn't comply with the agreement, it asked for 9V==2A first but then compulsively drew 3A from our device, thus the voltage our device can finally give will be lower than 9V (because the total needs our power bank received at the very first is 9V==2A=18W, if 3A is drawn, then theoretically the final voltage will be 18W/3A=6V). Therefore, the UVP Low voltage warning will appear. We also test the charging dock with some of our 9V==3A chargers (who also do not support 12V), and the testing results are also the same. So it seems that the charging dock's charging ability at 9V==3A has some unknown problems. Regarding this point, maybe you can also try some 9V==3A chargers (that do not support 12V) to see whether you can get the same results as ours, or you can also have a further discussion with DJ later. We find that the charging dock's charging ability at 12V performs well. When it is charged with a 12V charger or power bank, there will be no charging issues. Therefore, our engineer will improve our power bank and add the charging ability at 12V in the near future, which should help to be better compatible with the DJI Mini 3 Pro. The faster you discharge the power bank the less capacity you get out of it. If you charge your laptop while off for example, you may get more juice. The efficiency on there things can drop to around half when charging at max speed, so you'll only get around 12000mah
Thats a weakness of lead acid chemistry, not an issue with lithium chemistries. For 140w on a 6 cell battery, you are looking at a little over 6.3A which is only 1.6C from the 4Ah cells so its not really going to be stressing them at all.

Now it won't take a charge or give a charge and apparently the temperature display says it's -40 with zero percent battery charge basically it's broke. This is not the only Power Bank you need - because this Power Bank doesn‘t charge a HP Spectre x360 Laptop, which is not acceptable. This is a very common brand and model. Everything else is fantastic, but this is a NoGo for the asked price. A Zendure SuperTank Pro is charging this laptop without issues.
Way too expensive for a power bank that is only 24,000 mAh and has no flash light on it and only has 2 USB C connections and 2 USB As. for 140 it should be a much higher mAh rating than 24,000. Even with the "Black Friday" price on it' it's still to expensive at $92. I got a 40,000 mAh Power Bank for $30 on Amazon and it has 1 USB C Input / Output port and 2 USB A, a flash light on it and just a simple digital LED Display that still serves the same function to tell you how much charge is left or what level it's at while charging and it even tells you when it's in Fast Charge / Quick Charge Mode. It's only 30 Watt but all I need it for is to charge my Galaxy Note 9 that needs far less than even 30 Watts to charge because it's only Adaptive Fast Charge and not Quick Charge. I was able to charge my Galaxy Note 9 and LG Stylo Plus Three 2 times and it still had %8 charge left on it. After buying this Anker 737 you still have to buy an expensive 140W wall charger.
It does not come with the plug that is required to charge the powerbank itself to its full potential but the plug can be bought seperatley for around 80 quid.... So no it sucks and anker are using 1930s sales tactics or modern apple tactics to basically just fleece people. Con

@@InsideWiredo you think I can use the maker 737 to a apple magsafe wireless charger?
What about Xiaomi ones?
Do a shot everytime he says that something is "sat at"
You can play this game on many of my videos with the word "so" haha 😁
It's so heavy! 150% heavier than the competition due to having to handle 140W
Could you do solar charging?
I havent tested with solar, but i would imagine it might take a little while.
what exactly the double tab does at 03:00?
how many load cycles does it have? Heard couple of bad reviews saying powerbank would last only half a year with mild use
No issues with mine
Search for this video "How Long Will It Last? - Anker 737 Power Bank" from TDCatTech channel.
It explains this "issue" (it's not an issue at all).
@@InsideWire is this allowed on planes? thanks
How long does it last?
mine lasted 7months only :-(
Informatively intriguing
Thanks 🙌
I'm getting this power bank when I get my steam deck
Nice, enjoy!
Lifepo or li -on battery?
Li-on
Is it a PD power bank? They only work with new cameras.
This is a PD power bank , but is backward compatible with everything that works with USB
Nice, could i get one?
You can from my amazon link in the description 😀
Does anyone know if you can charge the battery and still charge other device, I beilieve its called pass-through charging?
Yes it has pass through charging. I have this battery
@@dekunutsocarina Thanks, But would it be able to charge using two outputs while charging in using a usb c input?
can i charge steamdeck
Not tried this so couldnt comment.
Does it charge steam deck?
Yes, it does. iGN named it the best power bank for your Steam Deck. I bought solely for that reason and it works GREAT.
@@christianmoran3272 I got one
It will be interesting to see the charge levels of all the devices if only the laptop was connected to the powerbank and the other devices were connected to the laptop. All the devices should be disconnected once the powerbank dies.
Nice review
Thanks!
Best power bank ever
So is it still good even though this video is old?
That tittle thou “is the the”
Thank you 👌
I did trust this company bought Anker 737powerbank it's broken after about a month of use. Now it won't take a charge or give a charge and apparently the temperature display says it's -40 with zero percent battery charge basically it's broke. Seems like the software on this power bank has overcomplicated things with the fancy display showing -40 temp when it isnt. I will never buy anything off this company again what a ripoff for the price. Customer services from them is terrible to. Hopefully somebody elss reads this and won't make the same mistake. 👍
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience
@@InsideWire They won't honour the warranty unless it's purchased from them directly apparently. Hears what they said after sending them proof it was new from eBay.
Please understand that since your product was purchased through an unauthorized reseller, we do not have your order in our own system, and unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to process a warranty unless an order is placed through us directly.
Since we cannot control who is selling our products without our authorization, we have no way of knowing how old a product is if it's sold by an illegitimate resource. We can't be sure in what condition the illegitimate resource originally got it, or if it's even brand new, thus we can't cover it with our 18-month guarantee.
Please reach out to the original reseller, as they handled your purchase and have a record of it in their system. If an order is placed through us directly, we keep the record in our system and are able to process the warranty.
Got This on Friday packed in already so disappointing from this company BEWARE 😟😤
Interesting thats good to know. I will have to take a look at the SuperTank Pro.
It charges my x360 just fine....
Ideally you should talk about the comparative weight.
Thanks for the suggestion ill be sure to add that in next time 🙌
$150 battery and doesn’t even come with power brick wtf anker do better come on
dont forget that over 100wh not allowed on planes
Mind the glare bruv
$25 worth of batteries, $10 circuit board, $2 worth of plastic...how are they charging over $100 for this??😂😂😂
Is this a portable charger where u can carry in ur purse?
It does not come with the plug that is required to charge the powerbank itself to its full potential but the plug can be bought seperatley for around 80 quid.... So no it sucks and anker are using 1930s sales tactics or modern apple tactics to basically just fleece people.
Con
They are all going that way to cut "waste" but yes they probably waste more by people having to buy the extras.
how did you not run a capacity test? usb-c pd testers are cheap. get one before you test any more batteries cause honestly this was meaningless.
You have a problem with estimating and/or rounding up numbers 😂
Maybe I do..
What a waste of time. How do you charge the damn thing????! You skipped over that important fact.
Crazy expensive lol
Has anyone tested this in Twentynine palms?
Is trash (don't buy it, I had to return it the first day, it doesn't charge more than 20 w and it keeps discharging the battery)
Ive not had any of these issues.
@@InsideWire I still have it, I can even show when it arrived and videos of the problems
