Honestly, this game has no bad track imo, it's incredible how each track is fun asf to optimize in their own ways, and while there are ones worse than others (my personal least favorite is probably Temple, used to be Park, and then used to be Canyon, but Temple is the least interesting to me), every track has their own flair to them and flow so nice
Tiny Arena and Slide Colosseum were my most hated tracks as a kid. Loved Roo Tubes and Dingo Canyon.
This is probably the CTR track ranking I agree most with on UA-cam, rather accurate to my own preferences. Very well made video, loved the free roaming camera bits!
Crash/Coco "C Tier" Bandicoot
This is a really good video. Feels very UA-cam-y, and not "Streamer trying to UA-cam". Big props to you and editor(s)
I love the duality of Nitro Fueled somehow messing up the Sewer Speedway shortcut so bad that they had to make it scripted at a specific angle for it to work, unlike the OG which was a very free-form shortcut you could make at any angle, while also giving you enough freedom/speed to do the now intended hairpin and fence shortcuts in Skyway and Bluff, respectively, in a lot of different ways.
Sadly no redemption was had for boomerang, which i'm sure is the sole reason why Polar Pass's walls in the end section are no longer bounceable

Amazing editing, great uses of CTR viewer, and I found myself agreeing with a lot, and I think you put a lot of thought into it. My favourite is obviously Polar Pass as you surely know.
Totally true in mines, it's a track that accidentally works so well at high level, but sucks at low levels.
In general I agree with most of your opinions and statements and endorse the list almost fully
But sewer sucks and turbo track is actually good 😎 would love to see you try the time trial strats on turbo track.
I was just thinking about watching a Hypnoshark speedrun, and this video came out this morning, nice! Now to watch a cool speedrun!

I would put Crash Cove higher, it's a nice track to look at and I like the music.
Papu's Pyramid has always been my favorite track, it's S tier for sure.
Fantastic video, so much more attention to the editing and explanations than most Tier List videos out there for other games, well done as always!

It's great to see the difference in opinion from speedruns to TTs. I would have agreed with your comments on tracks like Park and Canyon when primarily doing speedruns but when you push optimisation in these tracks theres a lot of nuance which is both very fun and rewarding. Park especially is perhaps one of my favourite tracks now.
Conversely like Sewers and Labs can be tremendous fun in speedruns but are absolute horrible tracks to optimise due to their random nature.

Great video! Although personally I think it would have been nice to put the list once more on the screen at the end to see the last and final result one more time.
I want to get into CTR 1999 version but A would it be bad to run it on an emulator, B. I feel like I should know what "SG" stands for before I do. and C any tips?
A. Not at all, there is an emulator only leaderboard because so many people play on it.
B. Speedghost, meaning to preserve speed from an uphill or downhill by jumping consecutively by holding l1 and mashing r1 (or vice versa)
C. Enjoy the game!
