I've been playing this game for 20 years and somehow this is my first time finding out you can raise Crash's legs on the monkeybars. No wonder those sections always felt nail bitingly close lol
I’m glad you put the sewer levels on your best levels list - they’re my favorite themed levels in this game!
The Eel Deal was a fun way to introduce the sewer levels.
Sewer or Later was my favorite out of the three with its design, bonus rounds, and it’s brilliant level ending! Boy, I always smile at that ending - perfect way to end a great sewer level!! 😊😊
Hangin’ Out is a level that utilizes the monkey bars nicely, and I loved how after that section, you drop into a large pool of water that has two paths: one for the ending, and one for Totally Fly’s secret warp. But my only problem with that level is how it ended - the double sewer door/warp door combined. It’s a neat idea, but to me, it’s kinda...meh, especially in the room it’s in. It just coulda been handled better, since it was the last sewer level in the game. What did you think of that final section of the level?
I had a hard time with Night Fight and Totally Fly sometimes. They do have a great atmosphere with the fireflies, but I think Bug Lite from Crash 3 did a much better job with that. I actually love Turtle Woods and The Pits due to them set in the forest (one set in rain, and one in sunset).
If I had to pick my favorite Warp Room designs, it would be a tie between the first and third warp rooms. I love the third one’s sewer theme and how each level portal is themed for that specific level. In fact, that warp room had some of my favorite levels in it. Bear Down is one of my favorite Bear-riding levels thanks to the sunset color that sets the mood for the level.

Bear down is a joy 👌we have opposing taste as i haaaate the industrial and the beehive ones!
I Think Night Fight should have a Purple Gem Path instead of a Death Route. Would make more sense.

Why so much hate for Totally Fly and Night Fight? I think they are great! However, I think Night Fight should have a Purple Gem path instead of a Death Route.
