I placed 6th in a regional in October. I would say a big mistake players tend to do is to overprioritize the level 6. Leaving the board with 2 level 5s that can float and can be aced over as well as letting you extend your plays the next turn is almost always better than ending with your imperial.
Congrats on the top! That is a very cool perspective! I also really liked having GranKuwaga and Valkyrie ACE in my previous builds too which was super fun to play! Definitely will be mentioning them in the tech choices section of the deck profile. If you don't mind sharing, I am also curious to what are your thoughts with the BT16 Davis Ken?
@@AVAULT Oh I totally forgot, but the thing BT16 Davis Ken helps with a lot is that it lets you apply pressure and potentially go for game even with nothing in raising. With proper trash setup, your opponent is basically never safe from your randomly ending the game. I'm hoping the scrambles can help do the same without having to pay the expensive 4 memory when they come out.
@@Noojtxeeg Thanks for sharing! Yea I am also gonna be testing it with Scramble when it comes! I've been rotating Davis Ken in and out a lot. The free body is really nice but I've been having trouble finding a good time to play them and 4 cost feels a lot especially not getting the second effect at all. Also, running them as a 2 of doesn't feel consistent enough for me which is why I am sitting at the OTK aggro build at the moment. Even though I played a ton of games with it, I am always down to give them a try again!
I love digimon cards I'm a casual fan of the series and the pc games and cards game and had some knock off cards when i was young with " digimon " written on the back .. I loved these alot i hope there are still some of them .. i had them in arabic tho aahah.. im sure there are original ones. Anyways nice channel hope you grow more.
Love me some Virus Imperialdramon! Partially it's because I love edgy "Evil Counterpart" variants of hero characters, but it's a super fun deck thanks to the Promo Shadramon and GreenPurple Wormmon, and the DinoBeemon is super good too for the decks consistency and durability. It's such a cool deck to play because once your trash is at least kind of filled, you can really combo as hard as you want thanks to stuff like Play Wormmon, evolve self into Shadramon, which can play another Wormmon, which can evolve into Flamedramon or old Shadramon, which can then DNA you, and then you can end of turn DNA, and bam, you combo'd all the way into a Mega off just playing a single Rookie. Sure, that's usually not the most optimal thing to do, but the deck can be so explosive off a single card that your opponent always has to respect that you COULD explode on them at any time.
@@AVAULTThank you, this means a lot for me. My family is currently arguing amongst themselves due to a certain familial drama that occurred the other day. I sadly cannot celebrate my own birthday this year due to it. That is why seeing one of my favorite decks getting more attention is so important to me. It helps me get my mind off of things. On another much brighter note… I recommend running Ukkomon as an additional four rookie instead of the Tai. My build is much more focused on an early game rush rather than the Imperialdramon stuff. I recommend running 3 Dragon Mode and 2 Fighter Mode. Anything more and you run the risk of bricking. I also recommend running two Valkyriemon Ace. You can also replace one of the Fighter Modes with the Fighter Mode Ace or even go full Ace and now your opponent has to deal with a lot of pressure. Ukkomon happens to be a Free Trait by the way. That means even if you cannot use it, you can trash it from hand to draw cards with the Veemon. As for the Level 5s, I recommend running four of the BT 16 Dinobeemon and four of the EX 3 Paildramon. None of the old Dinobeemon. This is because the Paildramon can revive the Dinobeemon but the Dinobeemon cannot revive itself. But the new one can. That is why I recommend running that ratio. Then I recommend running 4 of the Promo Shadramon and a 2/2 split between the EX 3 Shadramon and Flamedramon. This is because they can play stuff of the other color but not themselves and due to the promo being dual color, they both can play it. Two Sethmon as an additional bridge and added removal. Everything else is pretty much the same between my variant and yours. I haven’t built it yet due to the price of the Promo. Maybe once that gets reprinted I will build the deck. But right now my build costs around 260 dollars and that is beyond my budget.
@@SheruMuko Thanks for sharing your ideas with the deck! Yes, I am only running 3 Dragons and 2 Fighters as well! Stay tuned for the deck profile too! Hope everything gets better!
There is actually a far stronger build that is faster and more agressive R/P base imperial that runs the BT12 FM imperialdramon. Since this gives the deck a check 3 and a DP boost that excedes majority of immunity blockers.
@AVAULT yes, if you got a good handle on virus. Run the BT16 DaiKen, BT12 FM and tech 1 copy of FM virus (he really isnt that important) abuse the BT16 wormmon and Promo Shadramon and there is a good chance you will check mate in 2nd turn and Since the dragon mode is return to hand, you can restart a full combo next turn. R/P base BT12 FM imperial is arguably the true Imperial since U/G is heavily reliant on Paildramon doing its check and its 3 security checks and multiple fodders and 1 shot allows it to easily outpace U/G
Virus is much more fan than regular imperialdramon for me it's just so much better and I hope it gets new support because I can't find virus fighter modes and the deck needs them

Love this deck so much. There is so much potential and highly underrated.

Awesome, can’t wait for the liberator support
This is probably the funniest thing you could have posted on my birthday. I actually prefer the Virus Imperial deck over the Blue and Green one.

@AVAULT yeah finished the new chapter and when I saw wormmon I was so happy
at aroun 1:20 ... how can you play mist memory boost without meeting the color requirements? since you had no purple source in play.
I had the Wormmon in raising which meets the color requirements during that time. Hope that clarifies it!
@ ooooh. didnt know the breeding area counts for meeting color requirements. thabks for clarifying

Are we going to get a deck profile for this deck?
