2:36, But when I flew Swiss, Airbus A321 from Warsaw to Zurich for the 1st time last July, they weigh every passengers luggage at the gate, including mine, my luggage is almost big, so they check in my carry on luggage for free because I flying a full service airline, even though it can fit my almost big luggage. A few days later, I flew Pegasus, Airbus A321neo from Zurich to Istanbul for the 1st time, they didn't weigh every passengers luggage, so my almost big luggage can fit in the overhead bin, which is suprising and good.
Is that your 1st time flying the Boeing 787-10 on Singapore, if so, how is it and did your seatmate opted for the chicken? 11:32, Same, but I flew China Eastern from Ho Chi Minh to London via Shanghai with a 7 hour layover, similar price, it's very cheap.
Flights within Asia even on a short flight we get hot meals and hot towels ..it's been SQ's unique experience for years except for the COVID period! Re-instated from Dec last year in economy!❤
ANA extensively uses the smaller 787-9 on the Singapore-Tokyo routes. SQ uses larger capacity 787-10, 777-300ER and A350-900 on the SIN-TYO routes instead.
The meal looks really tasty. I agree that one way, this would be really expensive, but since you flew from Vietnam to Germany for under $400, the combined fare was an absolute bargain!
Hello Jack, interesting that on these short regional routes in Asia the big g national carriers continue to roster wide-bodied aircraft (unlike in Europe). Onboard service is to long-haul standards ...but let down by cardboard box catering. As an aside SQ trialled cardboard box catering on selected long-haul routes (like LHR, SYD, BOM and SFO) a couple of years ago but as passengers complained the trial was abandoned.
I disagree. The quality of the food is excellent - much better than many European carriers. Yes, the cardboard box might not look fancy, but to be honest, most passengers will care more about what's inside.
@JackRoaming Jack ...I wasn't complaining about catering quality which would be far superior to what a European carrier would offer on a similar length flight. It was the fact that SQ trialled cardboard box catering for Y and PE pax on routes which were really lengthy and expensive. Trial took place soon after the pandemic when fares were really high ...for example SQ was charging GBP 2,000 to GBP 5,000 for LHR-SIN rtn.
I'm surprised at the relatively low number of views and subscribers.
Your videos are excellent and informative.
Give the man some time;)
Another nice one, Jack. These airline reviews are your best.
Thanks!
Cool flight Jack!!
Thanks!
Great review!
Thanks!

Always SQ for me esp with regional and sometimes on long haul in business class too! Free wifi is also now a norm!

Usually its the 787-10 and the a350...blankets on request and normally provided for flights three hours and above! ❤
Still surprised they use the Dreamliner even on the Tokyo route, nice vid. Hot towel on the face is a new one 😂

SQ trg is slightly longer than mist airlines is simoly becos it's to maintain a high level of service which is the hallmark of SQ...❤
Only setback no cam on SQ fleet of aircraft!
Singapore airlines seat would make you sleep. Did you check in a bag.
Carry-on only.
Beer = Medical Attention.
Haha, I went for wine;)

Yeah, that would indeed be unacceptable.
