Nice! good explanation. I like your style. I learnt it a bit different with the motion coming from smaller hip movements. I'm going to start playing with it.

Funny my teacher taught it with no move, ent of the body, I’m not saying anything negative about what you are demonstrating. It’s just interesting. It has always been a shoulder exercise. It’s only recently that I have observed others practice it that I have attempted to incorporate body and waist

You can practice this in all kinds of different ways. It surely is a great mobility exercise for the shoulders if you keep the rest of the body rigid. Then it is basically controlled articulated rotations, cars. The fun part for me is though, when you either have your body and waist power the arm swing or vice versa. All good practice for sure.

I love this one. Do you ever practice with stones in your hands?

Glad you like it. No, I don't put weights in the mix here. When I practice strength I practice strength and when I practice movement I practice movement. I think its an unnecessary strain that doesn't really build anything. It would take forever the create changes in the tissue etc. These exercises for me are more about connection and coordination. I stick to classic Strength & Conditioning for building strength apart from my martial arts and movement practice.
