  • Took a ride around Pudding Stone parking. Bike did great spinning 9300rpm(towards the end of the video). I think the motor will be happier with a 1-2 point bigger pilot jet and a 79 main. I have no idea what pilot is in. The needle clips is 1/4 with a 75 main jet, air screw is 1 full turn out.
Might have to put a 32 sprocket and add a base gasket to finally beat E.R.T.😝 just kidding brotha🚀🚀
Hope you all enjoyed and thank you for watching, ride safe y’all.

Super nice area . Phgb carbs worked great for me. Finally someone has a bike vid that's carb sounds legit. Phgb pilot circuit is a progressive circuit meaning has a effect on all throttle range. Great video 👍

Goes real well. Ive got a YD 100 running a 19mm carb. A ZK and a viper exhaust. but a stud snapped off in the exhaust manifold. I drilled and tapped it but it broke again so now im using this as an excuse to rebuild it with a seperate barrel and head and using a windowed piston to get the most out of the reed valves.
Ive found that the Zeda YD 100 is trickier to tune for smooth and powerful running with the give and take being a bit more finniky than the little 66cc jobs Ive had before. Also I live in the UK where they lock you up for 'Anything' they can make up. Ive been chased a few times but the beauty of G Bikes is that you can go 'Anywhere' and get away from 'Them!'
The next plans I have are to install my second YD 100 into my Cannondale as it has tele forks, disc brakes-hydraulic, and neat click shift gears which will help because I'm doing the jackshaft conv'. I know a lot of folks say that this is no good, but just as many swear by it so I'm gonna give it a go.
The other thing I'm doing is fitting a 1500 watt front wheel electric hub motor with a L/H thunb lever throttle. Fitting a 12volt mag and somehow run an inverter to step-up the volts to 48v so I can ride and charge.
For myself the whole ethos of these bikes is getting off-Road and getting dirty riding the green lanes of Somerset and Devon. Our idea (Theres three of us that do the G Bike thing in my little town.) for summer 2024 is to ride the whole Jurassic coastline trail stopping and camping on the way. So I'm thinking should I build a little trailer for all the kit we shall need, OR build a sidecar which would carry everything and the bike would still be able to lean into corners etc.
Your engine sounds crisp and spritely. You've obviously gotten the jetting and spark spot on. Good work, and an enjoyable video to watch. I'm actually quite jealous and I cant wait to get my latest one on the road.
    Happy rides folk. Peace.

Your thinking 💭 🤔 is very similar to mine....Right now due to health, legal & financial reasons. I'm giving up on motorcycles for now in part because I can't afford the registration, insurance, gas & higher maintenance costs,etc.... I'm slowly gathering parts for a fast hybrid stealth motorcycle that looks like a motorized bicycle. I'm gonna use a front 500w or 750w hub motor. So I can legally ride in areas where 👮 police might stop me. I'll mostly be using the gas engine. But if I'm about to be pulled over or in areas where I can't use the engine. I can kill the engine & switch to 750w 100% legal electric. For the chain drag issue from the 2 stroke engine with clutch engaged. I'm sure there's a way to use a spring loaded tensioner. So you can stop & pull the chain off the rear sprocket & hang it out of the way. While you use electric if you need to be 100% electric mode for a long time. I have a welder & tools but no garage or workshop, that's slowing me down. Anyways here's my ideal fast hybrid bike---- A reinforced steel full suspension bike frame, a fast 52mm 2 stroke engine that can cruise at 45mph or hopefully faster, safely by using 19in or 20in moped or motorcycle rims & tires with strong gemini hubs. That way the tires, hubs, wheels & frame can safely take the higher speeds. I like your Idea of some way using the engine to recharge a 48V ebike battery. I'm not sure if I wanna use a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine. I really wish those Simson 2 stroke moped engines were readily available in USA since it has a gearbox. I'd love a 52mm Simson engine/gearbox with a front hub electric motor. I seen high power 3,000w & 5,000w ebikes switching to 19in moped/motorcycle rims so they can run motorcycle tires & safely cruise at 55mph. Right I can't decide between 2 stroke, beefed up 100cc 4 stroke bike engine kit or mounting a 125cc pit bike engine in the reinforced bicycle frame. But I'm worried the 125cc pit bike engine would look too much like a motorcycle to 👮 police 🆚 the 2 strokes. A 52mm 2 stroke could get you 45mph but still look small enough to pass as a 49cc....Anyways the hybrid woukd actually pay for itself in terms of less gas used, less expensive maintenance, no insurance, registration etc...I'm actually in the process of fixing up my motorcycle to sell to get money for the build. What's really slowing me down is no 240V outlet for my welder & no garage or workshop area to build it.
I do have a few steel 26in full suspension donor bike frames ready. I'm gonna reinforce the rear dropouts & rear of the frame. I'll be able to add a rear rack & saddlebags. With full suspension & a single wheel suspension bike trailer. I should be able to carry lots of camping gear & cruise along at 35mph with the bike trailer suspension soaking up bumps. The good thing about the hybrid idea is. You can leave the battery pack at home when you're using gas only. Also if you could ride & charge the battery off the engine. Then you could use a smaller battery pack. I wanna weld a steel gas tank into the bike frame like the aluminum motorized bike frames. It'd be a large round steel tube welded into the frame top tube.
Right now I have a 49mm iron sleeve 2 stroke on a 29in Mongoose. But it's parts aren't strong enough.
I want my 26in steel hybrid to have a BMX style seating/riding position. That way with a good padded seat. It'll be comfortable for long rides but also off road capable 🆚 a cruiser style street only bicycle frame/position.

regarding the rag on the fuel neck; I drilled a vent hole in the cap's neck near the top,and marked the cap so I's always have it Up so fuel didn't leak, yet air passed in easily.

It maxes out at 9300 rpm’s, with a 10/36 sprocket it does 49mph atm. If I switch to a 34-32 it’ll do like 55. It has the power to pull a 32 or 28 however my spokes are bone stock and full of patina so idk if going for more power is smart right now
