I think Midnight Club Los Angeles handled its South Central dlc pretty well, since it was basically an expansion. But it did still split the new cars into ones you get in the dlc and two extra car packs, despite the dlc's content already involving those cars that would be later released in the packs. The cars were used by the ai and appeared in delivery missions just to taunt the player into buying the packs, which sucked. Don't get me started on the cut Nissan GT-R R35 which exists in the base game's files, and the stupid rockstar social club demand for getting Audi R8. ... So MCLA basically did about as well as Oblivion did with its dlc. From Software seems to handle its dlc the best by just treating it as proper expansions.
ironically Hot Pursuit Remastered did the DLC much much better, the expansion events became an organic part of the career with you only earning the car you race in it by winning
Might just be nostalgia, but I also preferred the filter and menus from paradise version 1.0. As the game progressed, and lost the afternoon sun style filter, and the menus became more logical, I felt the fame lost some of the paradise feel
I feel like the binding of isaac did the dlcs pretty good, some items from the dlcs are unlocked from the start, majority are unlocks. Repentance added a b side to each character to unlock which is locked behind a lot of progression to even start unlocking them, plus each character has many unlocks. Getting all completion marks as the lost gives you a really good item as a reward.
speaking of oblivion, fallout new vegas spams you with dlc quests, items and messages as soon as you wake up at doc mitchell's and then leave his house. some of those messages literally say "thank you for buying this dlc! your level cap is up by 5". which sucks because otherwise it's a very immersive game and the quest issue could've been easily solved! the message for them says that you picked up a radio signal. considering how you can listen to radio on your pip-boy, you could just make the actual radios catalysts! at least two of the dlcs have their own radio stations, with dead money actually promoting the casino you go to in the dlc! so do that with three other dlcs and bam, less annoying messages at the start
Sunny I'm 65 years old Grow up and deal with it "Thanks for your comment" Congratulations you won a free prize of a million $$$" you can redeem it now for free but I know you like a challenge so you've been denied the free money since you don't like having an advantage

The larger problem is that they won't make another burnout game
Don’t give up hope for Burnout 4. All they need to do is have the exact same mechanics as B3 in Unreal Engine 5 and add a bunch of new maps and cars

You've got good videos.
The original 1.0 version will always be my favorite! 😊👍

What a shit take. If you aren't gonna backpedal, do you remember when you bought the game, it was the whole game?
burnout paradise remastered look almost the same as the vanilla game too
That's because it's just a port of the original PC version with a few minor tweaks and the graphics settings maxed out.
No wonder I didn't enjoy it.
