@zakaria djouzi both Nadal and Federer and Djokovic all work hard. The guy went to 5 French Open Finals in 6 years, it just happened that he faced the greatest clay court player in the history 4 times in the final. Fed has also won 6 clay masters and lots of finals, which is impressive enough considering he was competing with Nadal. There is certain gracefulness in every shot from Federer and even more humbleness in every shot he wins. Djoko comes pretty close. Personally for me the single handed backhand tips the scale for Federer. Such a beauty to watch.
@@ciprianghenghea7779 Djokovic can't pull 90% of the shots shown in this video. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch his boring backhand trading with the opponent.

Roger is the GOAT. Answer this question, how many slams do Nadal and Novak win playing with a 90 on Pro Staff? It’s the most unforgiving and low powered racket out there. Fed won 17 slams with a pea shooter. Insane!!!
those trashes are so lucky not playing against Roger at Roger's prime 😂😂😂 ... especially nadal, clay specialist only like most f4g racist spaniards 🤣🤣🤣
Now this hits completely different after roger retirement what a legend in tennis and sports in general he left his mark on and off the court simply remarkable 💔💙 RF
Just to get a conversation started on this particular topic . In the GOAT debate is it fair to compare Novak with Roger on the basis of their h2h record ? Think about it. Surely they've had plenty of nail biting match-ups in the past decade with Djokovic winning most of them. But I personally feel that we're forgetting a few things... 1) There's a six year gap between the two... Almost like a semi generation (like Nadal and thiem) Playing styles and racket tech changes a lot. 2) A huge chunk of their matches were contested after Novak reached his prime and Fed crossed 30. Definitely Novak has a mental edge over Federer.... But the fact that fed is quite possibly the only force that can at times even stun prime Novak is quite remarkable. Truth being said both are great players(co-goats) but their match-ups is not a decisive parameter.
Well said. We have seen Roger adapt his game over the years such amazingly. And now we're seeing that with Rafa and Novak as they grow older. Do you see the next gens winning a slam or two in the next 2 years? If not, tennis will definitely feel the "next star" for the interest to be carried forward into the transition period. Btw, if anyone is interested in joining a tennis WhatsApp group (ATP/WTA combined), please ping me up at this number. +91 8638525631 Thanks.
True, its funny cause Federer had the same situation with Agassi back then. The difference is, he was never given credit for beating Andre because he was 33-35 years old. Meanwhile, Djokovic is taunted as the goat for beating Fed in the same age bracket ( even worse) in the 2014,2015 and 2019 Wimbledon finals. Just because he was "Roger" doesn't mean he was not affected by age lmao.
Without doubt, Federer is the most talented, beautiful, vesatile player ever to play tennis. Variety of shots he has, is far more than combined of Nadal or Novak. His volley , stop volley, backend, forehand and dropshots are very pleasing to watch. To play for 20 over yrs with very high consistency is simply amazing. And above all, he is very humble, down to earth always easy going with his fans and media. We hardly read or hear ppl say bad things abt him. It is astonoshing to know that he has never retired half way in 1250 matches he has played. This shows how much he loves Tennis.. No other player has this effect on public past 50 yrs plus. No wonder he gets so much love, respect and attention from Reporters, players and public.. Even if Novak wins 25 Slams, he can never match talent, skill, charishma, elegance and popularity of Federer. Last but not the least, behavior on the court where RF gets 9.9 out of 10 and Novak may be 4....Novaks behaviour in tokyo olympics last wk is totally disgrace and unacceptable. He shd banned for few months. 👌🏻👌🏻..
That no-look shot against Gulbis was absolute filthy. Its like watching Neymar or Ronaldinho toying their opponents in football. Fed does insane stuff with such grace and ease. Truly a magician.
Roger will always be a goat even if Djokovic breaks all his records. He would have over 35 slams but he got old on his 23rd birthday. You could clearly see him losing speed in 2004. Apart from that he is mental rock. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant or Novak Djokovic don’t have that winning instinct and they always chock in important moments. Roger is definitely best athlete ever when playing under pressure
@@rajathvp it depends how you describe talent. Fed is mentally weak in important moments. He is talented in terms of motorical skills, but his cognitive skills are his biggest weakness
@Logan Legend he is mentally weak in important moments. He can save match points against lower ranked players. Against Djokovic and Nadal he chocked every time. Even against Delpotro. From 2 slams how many he won against Rafa and Novak? He is tennis legend but his mentality cost him so many wins. With Djokovic mindset he would have 25 slams. He used that weak era period very well but later he got dominated for 12 years
@Logan Legend his mental strength disappeared when Novak came back after elbow surgery. As I said Fedcis a legend and he can show his mental strength against players like Cilic ( he beat him in 2 gs finals in 2017, 2018), but against Novak he chocked every time

The first two will stay in your mind forever and elate the soul. I like to watch his videos again and again, like Edberg and Sampras. Unbelievable shots because of pure talent and skills.
Haajir Yabre So? You're out here saying that Fed needs to retire because Djoko will end his career, yet he's still winning matches against him. How many guys on the tour can beat Novak? And I say this as someone who likes Fedole.
@@ciprianghenghea7779 not one drop of that is true. Federer had a lot of competition and had very talented players and slam winners that defeated him more than once, so the weak era theory doesn't stand. Those players always reached the final stages of the slams and big tournaments and gave him a hard time, plus surfaces were way faster and styles of play were very defined. The opposition was strong. Federer made them look weak simply because he was brilliant. Also, to deny what you said, Nadal started winning big stuff in 2005, so "weak era" doesn not exist at all. Simply because now we have Roger, Nole and Rafa who are three best players ever it doesn't mean that 2004-2007 period was weak. Plus, Rafa and Nole took advantage of Federer aging such as Federer took advantage of them being young back in the day (although they were already hugely competitive, Nadal mostly). So everything is balanced. What kind of competition does Djokovic have now apart from frequently injured Nadal and old Federer who still manages to give him trouble? Weak era champions? Really? Federer transcends era because he managed to win in 3 different ones. Get over it and stop watching at numbers and statistics, they don't show everything. @@ciprianghenghea7779 haters like you say that Fed dominated a weak era. Nope, he's simply great that no one could topple him down. He was cooking everybody including Nalbandian, Safin, Roddick, Hewitt, Blake, Ferrer, Davydenko, and everybody including Djoko himself.
To say also that he couldn't do a damn in clay is hilarious. The guy went to 5 French Open Finals in 6 years, it just happened that he faced the greatest clay court player in the history 4 times in the final. Fed has also won 6 clay masters and lots of finals, which is impressive enough considering he was competing with Nadal.
And let me remind you that Federer suffered with his back a lot, and he was in his 30s when Djokovic started winning. Fed even won 3 grand slams at the age of 36, well past his prime and optimal health. And you're saying WHAT? Please use your head
True. But some also like the passion, determination, dedication Rafael Nadal bring on to court. Or, the flexibility, delivering under pressure ability that a Djokovic has. Everyone's got their pov. All such legends man.

Federer ist the Goat of Tennis :) unbelievable his skills never seen such a talented technical player i love hime for real i love him
Pure art. Can only be equated with watching Ronaldinho, Zidane or Magic Johnson
@rogerfederer9856you put like zero effort into this💀
There is certain gracefulness in every shot from Federer and even more humbleness in every shot he wins. Djoko comes pretty close. Personally for me the single handed backhand tips the scale for Federer. Such a beauty to watch.
2am here 2024 watching the most talented tennis player I have ever seen
The last 2 points against zverev is also really impressive how he could return two big serves of 214 and 229 kmh so deep
@@ciprianghenghea7779 It doesn't matter, the video is about Roger, not the Serbian.
@@ciprianghenghea7779 Djokovic can't pull 90% of the shots shown in this video. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch his boring backhand trading with the opponent.
Somehow, Federer made those returns effortless against top big servers, Roddick, Kyrgios, Isner, etc.
Federer better than Djokovic when return the rocket serves.
It was also impressive because he was playing like absolute shit that day, and then somehow pulled those points out of the bag... Sadly couldn't win the match though.

He always made incredible acts on the tennis court look and appear almost effortless for him. Im so lucky to have grown up and experienced watching him play and win in the way he did. So much respect and graceful even in his defeats. The tennis world and us as fans are better off for having had Roger Federer in our lives.

Roger is the GOAT. Answer this question, how many slams do Nadal and Novak win playing with a 90 on Pro Staff? It’s the most unforgiving and low powered racket out there. Fed won 17 slams with a pea shooter. Insane!!!

Have been watching tennis since 70s and I think Roger is most amazing ever!
Now this hits completely different after roger retirement what a legend in tennis and sports in general he left his mark on and off the court simply remarkable 💔💙 RF
By far the most talented player that i've seen since starting watching tennis 👑
Just to get a conversation started on this particular topic .
In the GOAT debate is it fair to compare Novak with Roger on the basis of their h2h record ?
Think about it. Surely they've had plenty of nail biting match-ups in the past decade with Djokovic winning most of them. But I personally feel that we're forgetting a few things...
1) There's a six year gap between the two... Almost like a semi generation (like Nadal and thiem)
Playing styles and racket tech changes a lot.

And Novak leading h2h when Roger reaching 30+ year old.
And still beat him at 38 years old.
Hello I'm using this opportunity to say thank you to all my fans for they're wonderful support and encouragement 🎾🥎🎾
You're absolutely right. Roger 28 against Djokovic 34 there would be no match
“This is pure genius, can’t teach shots like this” Robbie Koenig.
Also Robbie Koenig “half volley open stance with a single handed backhand”
He is just something special...

Love love tennis
he's trying to describe the shot you fool, because people never saw those shots and have no name for them so they were trying to describe them.
Roger the best player
Jeez, Federer's skill is almost surreal. Watching him play tennis goes beyond watching sport, it's like watching art.
His hand skills are just incredible ❤️
Truly a magician.
the most skillful tennis player to ever live
Federer is so good people think he is still in his prime.
@@juancarlosjuancarlos4629 he is choking too.. Wimbledon finals i so wanted fed to win. I am sure his speed has decreased .. but not his talent!
As I said Fedcis a legend and he can show his mental strength against players like Cilic ( he beat him in 2 gs finals in 2017, 2018), but against Novak he chocked every time
This is my GOAT i don't care how many trophies he's won or lost..i was a kid tennis player and suddenly this teenager in a ponytail came up and schooled everyone with beautiful tennis..this is tennis magic and ellegance,no one can hit those half volley shots out of nowhere to this day..everyone goes for cardio endurance and rally strikes boring me to death...thank you for showing me what tennis is about,GOAT

Sometimes you have to look at something more than stats and Roger's impact on tennis means he is the GOAT
He’s the GOAT. Period. It’s similar to the Kobe vs LeBron debate. Beat better competition, had a late resurgence, graceful, most skilled, etc. The list goes on and on.

roddicks career in a sentence Game Set Match Federer!
@@ciprianghenghea7779 stupid theory.
Tennis is much more than that, watch the matches. Come on man...
@@machello9 well said man federer is old now and still competiting with these guys and giving them trouble and winning also and nobody can beat federer when he was young
