I've played a lot of platformer games in 2005's-2018's what is my childhood and I will always LIKE a good platformer games because it's my favourite game category. My favourite platformer gameseries are Crash Bandicoot, Sonic The Hedgehog, Ratched and Clank, Super Mario and Sly Cooper. And by the way i'm borned in 2002's. 😊
I have actually played a majority if not all of these games. I got a lot of them through Gamefly back in the day. I grew up playing Whiplash in particular, I always thought that it could make for a great adult animated comedy in the style of Sausage Party.
if it wasnt for the fact that whiplash had a game breaking bug and 70% of the game is buggy to boot, it was unusually fun due to the destruction aspect. that game deserves a reboot/remake/sequel of some sort. THQ Nordic go buy it plz and remake it plz. and i remember playing a lot of these due to the old G4tv developer documentaries back in the day.
As someone that became a teenager in the year 2000 I’m surprised the only games I’ve played on this list were Secret Agent Clank on PSP (loved that game) Ape Escape 2 and Psychonauts.

Yes don't underestimate these titles! I can't believe that I haven't heard of some of these games, some of which like Vex and Psychonauts I have had in my PS2 collection but yet to play. Whiplash is one that I have played back in 2016 and became one of my favorite PS2 games. I love the animation and how amusing it can be reflecting the horrific reality of a corporation when it comes to animal testing. Nowadays if you look at your shampoo bottle even it will say no animal testing or something along those lines.
they need to make these ps2 games you mentioned a remake or a remaster for the nintendo switch ps4 ps5 or the future release of nintendo switch 2 as soon as possible for people to add the games for there collection

I remember downloading Psychonauts 1 of the PS2 catalog on my PS4 and it just felt very dated, maybe an unlocked framerate would bring me give it a chance. A legit remaster would be nice. I'd buy it to show my support for the devs 👍🏾
That's what we Spanish speakers (from México) think about Spain translations and European voices 😒 Specially old generations, we only had American English or Spain Spanish to choose where the verb "coger"(take) means literally "do sex" in our Latinamerican Spanish.

I have beaten Psychonauts twice, and it’s a great game. It’s humor is great, and the puzzles are fun.
Vexx is so fun. It's just ashame how incomplete it is. Still, I would say it's worth a try.

I love Ape Escape 2. It was definitely a worthy sequel to the PS1 classic. Frankly, it belongs on a list of underrated PS2 exclusives

Say what you want about it, Psychonauts is a great game, it’s humor has aged well. The only part that aged poorly was the meat circus to me.
