What about parking mode ?!
I think it doesn't have one. Unless you buy additional parts. So, once car is shut off there is no recording.
Also in other videos people complained that after installation some safety features were disabled. Like Lane assist etc. The guy complained that he had to bring the car to the dealership to reset it.
Looks nice... but I am still thinking... the last thing I want is to pay the dealer to reset my car and mail it back for refund.
Some reviews say the cam install causes the Corollas safety features to get disabled. Is this true? Did you have any issues?
Unless the plug is loose or the wiring is faulty, it will not affect the safety features.

From the video it looks like the default password is "12345678"

I'm not sure but like most devices, you create your own password. You can go into settings at anytime and change your password. That's why the guy in the video chose 12345678. It was just for instructional purposes.
Press and hold the camera button for 15 seconds to reset the password.
