Hello. I enjoyed your video very much,
I understood how to trim and cut out something from a specific point backwards. But how do I select a portion of the video "to stay" and deleting what's before and after that portion. Thank you for your help. Be blessed.

Keep splitting clips... so I split in front and and after the part I don’t want. Then I select the piece that I don’t want and I hit delete. Let me know how that works!

Thank you for this tutorial. I noticed you selected "High" quality when you saved your finished video. Is that the choice you recommend? Does "High" take up more room than "Medium" (for example) would? I have a lot of family videos (originally VHS) so I'm worried about how much room they will take on my computer.

Hi DK - yes, I recommend high quality although it does take more space. Technology keeps improving what we can do with our photos and videos (like it or not!). By saving a higher quality version, someday, your video could be made to do more. I'm going to explore this question more on my Photo Organizing Q&A UA-cam Live on December 1.
      Cheers!

Hi there… there is a couple of ways… you can take to a local digitization place or send them to on online company to transfer to digital files.
Or you can get an old Video player and connect it to your computer with a piece of converting software. Here’s an option for you:
      www.amazon.com/Updated-Digital-Converter-Windows-Capture/dp/B07H4L73GB/ref=asc_df_B07H4L73GB?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=79989588513695&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=m&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583589115278523&psc=1
It’s slow and can be frustrating but much less expensive… the quality of video is also much lower than having the tapes transferred professionally.
      Cheers!

If I want to share it by emailing it to family it says it’s too long. How else can I share a movie to friends or family? Thank You

Hi there- You will need to upload to an online location and create a link to copy and paste in your email. Do you have any online storage accounts?
