:This is by far one of the best produced and optimized tutorials I have watched. No BS, straight to the point with only the facts and no fluff.... Thank you.
Oh my Gosh I dont know why im not getting these Notifications. Thank You. Thank You. so much. Sorry for my lateness. I thought i had my apple watch set for notifications. But i m still trying to learn all the tech stuff. 💜🦋💜
I've been searching for over an hour on UA-cam looking for this type of information, and though this is still completely overwhelming for me, (I have a complete mental block with anything relating to technology), this video was easier to understand than other's I've watched. You're a very good teacher. Not sure that I still understand everything but, this made me feel that maybe I can at least try. If you were in NYC I would take an in-person class with you as I learn better that way. But thank you for putting this out.
Thanks for the refresher crash course on iMovie. I haven't used it in a while but plan to return to it for some projects. I like the ease of use and the streamlined features. I know there are limitations but for the most part, it will produce very nice presentations for many platforms. Thanks for sharing and I will watch your other videos for more information.
I needed some quick help on iMovie basics. Your video was very helpful to me. It is rare to find such good instruction; clear; to the point; shortcuts; super helpful. Thank you!
Thanks so much, sir. I did my traditional wedding in 2016 and the guy brought the video to me in 10 seconds to 1 minute. I had it for all these years but today, your video has given me so much knowledge and courage to edit it. iMovie is just what I needed since I'm not looking for something high-end.
Thank you! Best tutorial for a first timer like me!
This is excellent! Really the best editing tutorial, thank you.
Best tutorial I’ve had so far. You covered the basics and explained really well how to use the edit by order of the steps that we usually need when we edit.
Great video for complete beginner. Thank you.
Very Helpful video. If I ever graduate to more advanced video editing software I will check back with you. Thanks again!!!!
Great course! Thanks so much for putting this together. I'll definitely check out your other courses.
Thanks for such a concise explanation of iMovie. I'm a bit rusty so this has been a great refreasher.
I needed a refresher. This was helpful and easy to grasp! Thank you!
I was so afraid to try editing but this video saved me. It's excellent! I wasn't successful at editing the length of each individual clip from the timeline as you showed, but for a first attempt, my video is just fine. I will keep practicing. Thank you for this outstanding tutorial!
I am a beginner & have found this very helpful. Thank you (here I go)
Thank you so much for a very good tutorial for beginners.
Many thanks! This was a terrific tour and tutorial. It had all the info I was hoping for. Straight to the point, no loud distracting music, just helpful and succinct information. You are an excellent teacher :)
Extremely well done for a standard tutorial. Fully worth the 25 minute investment of time!
Thanks!!
Outstanding! Thank you so much for adding this tutorial! Just got my first mac (I'm 60 so not new to PC) and wanted to take full advantage of what mac does best! Your tutorial was so well done, not information overload, and easy to understand I'm excited to do my first simple video (combination of my work in motion, stills, music and text) Imagine that... all the things you covered! Subscribing to you now!
Thank you, just what I needed, too many people assume you know what they are talking about in there lessons, no!! we don't, that's why we are watching it!! to learn! very helpful, thanks again, Clive.
Excellent tutorial - concise and informative - the only info I needed - thanks!
Good video man! This gave me all the basic skills needed to make a good college project video.
Excellent content and very well presented. A very good learning tool for editing.
Very helpful, I was looking for a quick overview. You the man. Thumbs up.
Thank you so much for such a user-friendly tutorial that is so easy to follow!!
SIUPER HELPFUL, straight to the point and informative......THANK YOU
So well explained, thank you so much!
Super-clear, smart, fast and easy to understand. Great combination! Thanks.
This is one of the best training videos I've ever seen! Excellent.
I love the 'crash course' nature of your presentation. I had used the previous version of iMovie about four years ago and when I opened this new one for a project, it was a case of oooohk. Oh no, now I'm expected to memorise shortcuts. (my philosophy is that life is too short to memorise thousands of computer shortcuts).
Thanks for the quick crash course. Just what I needed. I have bookedmarked you, Cheers.
Great job explaining. Thank you for the time. I will be checking out more of your videos.
It's so Useful, big thanks to you. Kind regard from Indonesia!
Awesome tutorial!! You are a great teacher. Thank you very much!
Your videos are greatly appreciated, very professional and insightful. Thanks
This video was so helpful. I am having a hard time with iMovie because when I right click nothing shows up but the quick keys are very helpful as well. Thanks for posting this video to help us out I really appreciate it.
Great video. After watching some others, the info you present and how it is presented is excellent for understanding it & applying!!

You rock, thank you!! Now if you could just learn all the music editing/recording programs and do a tutorial.. 😜Seriously, this is so helpful! You are a lifesaver.
Yes please do one for iPhone vloggers
I’ve been using your tutorials to get to grips with Instagram reels, Canva & other stuff that’s useful for someone who uses social media for self promo/‘business’ (I’m a drag queen & aspiring content creator) and I love your teaching style! I’m just starting to use iMovie but on my iPad/iPhone so I was sad when I realised this tutorial is for iMovie on a Mac but really glad to hear you’ll be doing an iPad tutorial! Do you know when you’ll be uploading that by any chance? And since I’ll be watching this one anyway, do you think it’ll still be useful & translate over to how iMovie works on the iPad? Are there any other tutorials/channels you’d recommend in the mean time while I wait for yours to come out? Thanks so much for all your help so far, this channel is an absolute goldmine of useful information for someone like me!
Wonderful video. This is what I have been looking for. Something to the point, but with some moderate explanations of what things do. I do have one question tho. Is it possible to modify the transitions. They all seem like they take about one second to complete. Is there a way to lengthen or shorten them?
thanks
I'm so Excited Now to get started! This was so Awesome
.how do I remove audio from the clips before
I drag them since I am making a music video
I don't want the raw video sound in there..thanks
Bought the course
Great video! It was very helpful. Is There a way to edit the color of the text in IMOVIE?
Great post!!! Is there a way to add "chapters" to a finished iMovie... A way for the viewer to skip to different segments of the movie?
A good overview. Thanks. I have to input from QT from my old camera which iMovie doesn't recognize. It records it in 6x9. Is there any way to change the aspect ratio in iMovie?
thank you for this tutorial. however one thing is missing. in my old imovie (imovie 2) i could cut a clip and return the rest of the clip back to the shelf/ media pool for later use. is this still possible? also is there still a tool option or right click option for cutting and splitting? i never liked using the keybord. thank you.
Great video, I have a question for you. If I move a video from my desktop, into iMovie, can I then delete the video from my desktop? Or would deleting the video from my desktop end up deleting the video from my iMovie as well?
Just a quick question, I want to your full course to make some youtube videos. Can I be able to add my face at the button like in a circle or box and demonstrate activities? Activities like teaching how to code and do some IT tutorials.
Absolutely AMAZING tutorial. I should have watched this a long time ago. Great job! Easy to follow and some WONDERFUL tips!! Thank you so much!!!
Hi, I accidentally filmed my car licence plate during my tutorial, how do I blur it out?
Thank you for such a great video, I am really looking forward to getting better at this.
Can you do pip in iMovie?
Can you please show if it’s possible to use audio from one clip to another ?
Please update this video with last available futures in iMovie 3...thank you.
Hi, if I want to edit a video, and save a new clip (the way you are showing in the beginning), shouldn't I duplicate my video so I can keep the original version? If so, how do I do that? Thank you
❤
thank you so much, now i edit my videos using imovie... Please can you do another tutorial for final cut pro x ?
Yea sure. I personally use Premiere Pro and Davinci and I have videos on both but I learned on final cut and will do a video on it soon.
@@Howfinity I can’t wait, thank you. I don’t have those applications installed on my Mac else I’d love to try it too
Is it better to begin editing (clipping) long clips on the timeline instead of above in My Media? The thumbnail is so small it's pretty hard to do the I/O/E method.
I have now managed to move audio clips about but exporting a finished movie to photo album isn’t possible Does it only go to iMovie library ?
