just watched the very first trailer released and a few more up to this one, it's crazy to see what indie devs can do with support from a community. i am going to buy this game right now :]
I only wish they had put the music from the trailer into the game. Imagine you are somewhere in the wild and moving back to your factory, and as you come closer, this music slowly fades in.
The ending is so good, with the bright spots bringing your attention in (rocket, train lights, then top right lasers into the spidertron). If I didn't already own this game, this trailer would have for sure brought me on.
I've never understood how this game works and was kinda intimidated by it from watching occasional recommended videos. This is a masterpiece.
oh yeah, the game, too.
I was positive in a coronavirus test two weeks ago. Asymptomatic and in lockdown at home for 10 days. So it was finally a good time to start a game in factorio and be able to dedicate the time i knew it would demand. Yesterday launched my first rocket after 47 hours. Its funny, i went to bed every night thinking about my factory and the upgrades i will be doing the next day. And then waking up early in the morning to be drown again into the biters planet to continue planning the growing of my factory. Fantastic game. Made my lockdown more than bearable.
1.0 came just in time for the new college semester. You guys trying to get me to fail!?!? My gosh this redone trailer is awesome!
As someone who has been playing this for months I can only say.... the factory must grow...
just watched the very first trailer released and a few more up to this one, it's crazy to see what indie devs can do with support from a community. i am going to buy this game right now :]
This trailer is still one of my favorite game trailer of all time. It's so cute and satisfying to watch and the music fits perfectly
I only wish they had put the music from the trailer into the game. Imagine you are somewhere in the wild and moving back to your factory, and as you come closer, this music slowly fades in.
FACTORIO ISNT ON THE STEAM STORE FRONT PAGE!
HOW DARE YOU STEAM!
PUT THAT MASTERPIECE UP ON THERE!!!!
HERESY
It's on the front page now!
@@Brixxter With a huuuuuuge Banner!
Yeah. Its on the front page now.
A day late!
But its here
All praise good old steam engine
The ending is so good, with the bright spots bringing your attention in (rocket, train lights, then top right lasers into the spidertron). If I didn't already own this game, this trailer would have for sure brought me on.
I've never understood how this game works and was kinda intimidated by it from watching occasional recommended videos.
This video however showed the basics of the game and now it doesn't seem too complex to start playing.
1) a processing unit with input and output
2) material transportation for processing
3) bulk material transportation between processing plants
4) defense against aliens
Might actually try the game now
Props to the dev team behind this game. You guys are practically defining the factory game genre
This was an excellent journey from early access to release. Thanks for the great game, Wube!
*«The factory must grow.»*
I wonder if they'll do another iteration of this trailer when the Space Age dlc releases?
Been playing this game since 2016 and to this day i still boot it up every now and then to start a new base.
Factorio is officially my comfort game, game i could always go back to whenever i don't have anything else to play. Still my #1 indie game of all time
You have been playing since 2016! Thats 56000 hours! Did you know that we had a pandemic in 2020? crazy!
This is beautiful; I have been looking at this for 4 hours now.
Got this game back in 2014... didn't know much as a 14 year old but loved it. One and off since then and now working on my fourth megabase. You have made an amazing game and should be so proud.
my friend: this looks really complicated
me: dont worry its not that complex
the late game:
Ever tried Bobs and Angels mods?
@@heriberthuber54 I tried seablock, automated blue science, then smashed my computer and never played it again.
Try SE next
@@Mernom What do you mean by SE? Space engineers? Because I've played that game
@@lauriethefish2470 Space Exploration which is another awesome and complex mod where you can build spaceships and visit other planets
So cool to see how this trailer has evolved since 2014, so cool. I love this game so much man, I’ve played so many hours.
TBH you guys should premiere this trailer instead of the launching one, cuz this is the trailer you've been teasing about in FFF
No other game has ever had me spend 50 hours on a save to just go “eh this could be better let’s delete it all and start over”. Love this game so much. It never feels like a waste of time to start over for some reason
I guess that's the only game ever that I played for almost 2000 hours when version 1.0 got released
I love that every trailer for this game is the same stuff, but with different versions of the game.
I'm not complaining, it's a great trailer. One of the best I've ever seen.
I love this trailer. When I joined the community, I didn't know it'll be finished so quickly. So pretty! Brings a tear to my eye.
Thank you!
This is super satisfying to watch, I come here atleast once a week.
- "Hey I've seen this one"
- "What do you mean you've seen it ? It's brand new !"
I mean, they did add the new stuff to the old trailer
I think I've seen this before somewhere :D
Trupen!
*THE FACTORY MUST GROW*
This trailer is one of the best trailers I've ever seen. The music fits perfectly with the actions in the video. And I'm in love with the chaotic flare of the music.
Great. The trailer explains entire game without a single word.
Everybody: Whoah!
Literally everybody: It's remastered trailer, amazing!
Me, an OCD Factorio gamers with only 400+ hrs gaming session: *sweating profusely with usage of different colored belts*
What do you mean by OCD Factorio gamer? lol
@@Yolwoocle I mean it's more like one colored belt for all... hahahaha I can't think uses of different colored belt in one layouts
@@samueldim_ You can use different colored underground belts to lay down simultaneous streams of material on one line, just as an example of using different colored belts in one layout. Not to mention underground belts have differing lengths to go along with that.
@@TheGamingLegendsOfficial yes it is, slower belt also works for yellow inserter.. but somehow I just...can't hahahaha I love seeing one colored belts for everything
I seldomly use woven underground belts because I set my factory as megabase, so I always have some space... hahaha but thanks anw!
I get the ocd completely. But I use different colours if I sometimes want to tweak traffic speeds. Good for early spaghetti bases
The trailer is good, don't get me wrong, but it's the music that absolutely SLAPS.
Ah, I foresee hundreds of hours spent in isolation in my room... not much a difference in this quarantine time lol
I have never played or seen any gameplay of this until now, and I'm sold.
this is the oldest spaghetti still as delicious as when it was made
Best trailer ever. Progress waits for no bug.
The thousands of hours
And many more to come
One of the very few games where I legit have over a 1000 recorded hours both on and off steam.
My God... I just checked my total time played on Steam... 2256 hours... I am not ashamed to say I'm not ashamed. Lol
This trailer is truly a masterpiece.
the best computer game ever.
I've spent more than eleven-hundred hours of my life playing it... and that doesn't count all the hours of planing, thinking, making spreadsheets, and playing it in my sleep.
I have so many hours in this game. It was the game I enjoyed the most, although I haven't startet that many rockets. It always was more about building, upgrading, fixing and improving. Thats what the whole game is about and the deveopers did the same. They created a masterpiece. Love you guys!
I played this game for 2 consecutive weeks and got 43 missed calls, an attendance shortage notice from my faculty, back pain, and a missing person report filed on me.
This has got to be the greatest trailer of all time.
This game is so satisfying to watch and to play. Bravo guys.
Bugs: try to fight back against the constant pollution from the factory
Trains: No
this inserters ,belts ,furnances ,and drills ,other machines ,beautiful
"I was on Ritalin..." Yes, I can believe that.
This is the best trailer for a game I've ever seen.
