Got that OTA update last month. The most useful thing are the new gestures for going to the home screen when in Android Auto/Apple Car Play and the air conditioning gestures with three fingers. Also noticed that ADAS, especially the LKAS works better.

Hi Sam, how do we get BYD to change the colours of the numbers on the mini screen on the steering wheel? It's very hard to read the numbers that are in pale green on a pale blue background. It can't be that hard. BYD owners in Oz have been asking for this for the last year or so.
Our Atto 3 here in Australia has had only 1 OTA update since we purchased it in October. I check for updates on a regular basis, but nothing. Think we’re on version 13.1 or 13.2. When is this latest update rolling out? My Tesla M3 has received 3 updates since April. Long way to go BYD to match Tesla, and BYD has so much they could, and needs to be improved through updates. Particularly the fonts and colours on the screens apart from all the other things that need improving.
Would love to know the cost of managing. What do they have? 20. 30 different models and new versions of those every 3 years. I'd be like 100 versions of firmware they have to write for. That'd be interesting to find out the cost for that complexity
ADAS is still a problem with at least the ATTO 3, even after the latest update (the one that brought wireless Carplay). Issues still seen in ADAS: - Phantom braking; - Jerky ACC, both on rducing and increasing speed; - Lane keep is still the worst, and now, since the last update, the car tends always to go into the opposite coming lane (before the update, the lane keep was actually working slightly better). This is so bad now, that I don't trust it at all; And on the generic sense on BYD's OTA, yes, they have beeing improve the cars overall, but simple things, like for example proper trip meters, are still not available.

No BYD car does not have one pedal driving. But that doesn't mean it has no regen, instead when you lightly press the brake pedal it will engage the regen.
As I understand, some of these OTA updates are geofenced. Mainland China models that have been exported to other markets cannot or have no received any updates recently. If I am mistaken, please let me know how to update mainland China software to enjoy these improvements. Same goes with the BYD app.

It's the same firmware for different cars.
