I have to say, between the dialogue, the glitches, the Enclave, and just spectacular timing on several things with this run, I'd say this is the best video you have ever done, bar none. I like the Lincoln videos and others, don't get me wrong, but this is just spectacular!
I've played this game at least a dozen times and this is the first time I hearing about Benny's Cigarette and Lighter being both item and way to interact with the quest. God I love New Vegas!
I'd love to see a clip of the kane and lynch headshot uncensored, it was pretty cool how the camera zoomed in on badass bob and his signature weapon of mass destruction, after which the convict's mind is blown by the awe of 9mm.

As soon as you encounter a faction, you'll have to immediately become vilified by them. I might try that playthrough myself lol.
On my first run of New Vegas, I actually kept the 9 mm pistol through Novac, because it was the only weapon i could find a scope for, so it served as my de facto long range gun when I ran out of .357 magnum and couldn't use the cowboy repeater. Given how this run went, I think a Single Shotgun only run would be interesting. If Chet doesn't have one, I think there's one in one of the houses in Goodsprings that can be stolen.
An idea for a run could be "can you beat FNV as a Powder Ganger (or as Joe Cob if you want to make character based)" Excellent content, as always and keep going!!
This just came to me while going to the H&H Tool;s building in NV, you should do a Bob the Builder run where you are only allowed to use construction equipment - Nail Gun, Sledgehammer, etc. And your end goal could be whoever you feel would fix New Vegas the best. That'd be fun I think.
Honestly I don't replace the 9mm (in a vanila game where there are cooler modded options) for quite a while. The ammo is rather ubiquitous, and the damage output is pretty reliable up until the beginning of mid-game. Also, they're literally everywhere, so running out of repair-spares is pretty much never going to happen.

“Nah nah, Dracula don’t suck. Dracula scrape and lick.” *proceeds to waggle his tongue at the Grim Reaper as a demonstration* God I love that show.
I ended up doing exactly this on all of my playthroughs, with only exception being Maria (but it’s essentially the 9mm pistol with a fancy engraving).
I love pistols, and with fast-shot combined with 9mm only costing 1 cap per round, it feels really action-packed but empowering.
I have to say, between the dialogue, the glitches, the Enclave, and just spectacular timing on several things with this run, I'd say this is the best video you have ever done, bar none. I like the Lincoln videos and others, don't get me wrong, but this is just spectacular!
The 9mm is one of my favorite guns in new vegas so I would enjoy watching this
Ring a ding ding!
Bebe
Remember everyone, if your going to cap someone
Use anything that's a higher caliber than 9mm
@@tvgaming2132Baby, this is not the place to go talking about that.
Ring a ding baby
I've played this game at least a dozen times and this is the first time I hearing about Benny's Cigarette and Lighter being both item and way to interact with the quest. God I love New Vegas!
I always kept a 9 mil on me during hard-core. Lightweight and cheap ammo ment a trusty sidearm for me to keep on me.
I'd love to see a clip of the kane and lynch headshot uncensored, it was pretty cool how the camera zoomed in on badass bob and his signature weapon of mass destruction, after which the convict's mind is blown by the awe of 9mm.
I use a fully modded 9mm throughout all of my NV playthroughs, the damage is decent with crits and its good for taking out weaker enemies, plus it looks and sounds cool
I dunno the scope is kinda goofy but the extended magazine is always welcome
3:02 "you enjoy all the killing, that's why"
Fallout 4 as an Irishmen. Use a bottle as a weapon and have Cait as a companion, also buy all of the beer
Dont forget to use car bombs that are scattered in f4
@@ft5821dude that northern Irishmen
@@DAVIDMcDonald-uf2epIreland is Ireland
@@deletdis6173🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
@@deletdis6173 that’s a really stupid argument.
To prove this, I will now use the exact same argument with a different set of regions;
Korea is Korea
Do ya see the problem here?
North Korea ≠ South Korea as Ireland ≠ Northern Ireland
They are not the same people.
You should do a "can you beat Fallout without using any currency"
Like, you're not allowed to buy or sell anything, bribe anyone, etc
- you owe money to this establishment
- [Speech 10] but what *is* money
Yeah, fits for brain-damaged character very well
Benny: "That's not a good idea."
Nerbit: *It, in fact, was.*
It's a small detail but I like hearing you read out the typos in the script, just adds a nice human touch to the video.
I have done it myself on accident - a 9mm suppressor randomly spawned on Chet, and the sneak attack just carried me through the game - at that point it was just a better Silenced .22 pistol, which with you have done a run already I'm pretty sure
There isn’t a 9mm suppressor in the game tho…..
@@chrishiggins1934 it was probably a vanilla-esque mod of some kind
"If you're watching this, you've likely played New Vegas."
I have not, but your challenges are part of what made me buy it recently.
Can you beat Fallout New Vegas while eating everyone?
You can. I will not be taking further questions.
I've done this before, it's fun but hard, but I made sure to clear out Quarry Junction with the pistol scope attached. A great but simple challenge, it's cool to see one of my favorite UA-camrs take a crack at it too.
My first playthrough was actually mostly only the 9mm. I like pistols in games and it worked fine. I always had ammo.. honestly except for trying other weapons here and there like one off mini nukes I only super used the 9mm and then Maria from Benny so NO. Our playthroughs DON'T have replacing the 9mm in common
Love how the built to destroy straight has the vault boy hold a m60e3 variant judging from the barrel
Junk Rounds is probably one of the best perks for 'awful gun playthrough' style videos, at least for bullet firing guns. Junk Rounds are always nice.
For the first like, three or four runs in NV when I was younger, that's exactly what I used all the time because the 1911 is my favorite handgun IRL.
Maybe so, but the 9mm pistol is a Browning Hi-Power, not a 1911 (the .45 Automatic Pistol from Honest Hearts is a 1911).
3:10 that was a very nostalgic reference there, the scrape and lick 🤣
I fully expected him to also be buying attachments
Can you beat outer worlds with all flaws?
Oh and you could totally also do the hollowed-out rock play through.
I managed to find a police baton in a hollowed-out rock above Angel cave in honest hearts. The same place where you go and deal with the for chalk.
I had 10 luck so that might ha e been the reason.
Honestly, I can't blame you on the rebreather. Slap that baby with a mk 2 combat helmet and you look like a fighter pilot.
Honestly "Great...do you want to do it again?" is probably the single best way to sum up the Brotherhood questline. I love the stupid rust buckets but oh boy do I hate their quests.
That opening segment was the PERFECT chance to put in a "Kept you waiting, huh?".
I like the dracula reference from billy and Mandy when you were fighting the rad scorpions you unlocked a core memory for me with that one brother
I have never played a fallout game but still find this enjoyable
This was definitely a nice palette cleanser but I can't wait for that Skyrim as Abe Lincoln video. great content as always Nerbit.
6:15 But you get his hat for completing his quest of Clearing the Ghouls from the Retcom Station.
Thats sad, Manny is one of the nicest dudes in Fallout: New Vegas. R.I.P.
I’ve actually done this myself cus the 9mm pistol is my favorite gun in the game
10:06 sometimes there's a bug that is so funny and weird that it makes wild wasteland encounters look grounded and reasonable.
I had no idea about the Enclace and that they’re called the Remnant now is just awesome Heir to Empire vibes! Have to try this
Nerbit:Idea for challenge run -can you beat fallout 4,as beheaded from dead cells(idea based on your frying pan video).Your charisma, luck and intellegence are not suppose to be more than more than 5. Only Melee weapons, pistols, unarmed weapons ,frying pan, throwables and turrets can be used.Conflics can only be resolved in violence.Headwear is banned and healing /or chems use can't be done,if chem has a needle.
I love that you can take something as basic as a 9mm challenge and make it hilarious and engaging. 🤙
I had an interesting idea: can you beat Fallout New Vegas while being vilified by everyone? As soon as you encounter a faction, you'll have to immediately become vilified by them. I might try that playthrough myself lol.
On my first run of New Vegas, I actually kept the 9 mm pistol through Novac, because it was the only weapon i could find a scope for, so it served as my de facto long range gun when I ran out of .357 magnum and couldn't use the cowboy repeater.
Given how this run went, I think a Single Shotgun only run would be interesting. If Chet doesn't have one, I think there's one in one of the houses in Goodsprings that can be stolen.
Thank you nerbit for playing new vegas and making my day happy! Sadly I cannot play new vegas because I don’t know how to delete its mods
An idea for a run could be "can you beat FNV as a Powder Ganger (or as Joe Cob if you want to make character based)"
Excellent content, as always and keep going!!
I can't help but love the iron sights aiming with the 9mm. I always keep it on me for weak creatures.
you get a 1st recon beret for having boone as your companion btw so you didnt have to kill manny
I don't know if you have done this video video before but a "That Gun" run would be interesting to watch.
Ive wanted to do this challenge a couple times but never fully commited, thank you Nerbit
you thought we wouldn't notice the Count Dracula Billy and Mandy reference, but we did. Excellent taste by the way.
That gun only run dlc included excusing the required portions where that gun can’t be used
I subscribed when you were at 30k fam. Love all of your vids. Take your time. Quality v. Quantity. Always take care of yourself first. We'll wait for you Nerbit.
Programmer's Digest didn't help understand a thing happening to Rhonda looks like.
before I even start watching this, I already know this 9mm Pistol only run is possible, as I remember doing one a few years back when I was bored after beating Fallout 4 on its hardest difficulty.
The grim adventures of billy and Mandy reference to “scraping and licking” made me remember a show from my childhood. Thanks Nerbit 3:10
