Winegard DirecTV Slimline Trav'ler SK-SWM3 Deploying

This is just a short video showing the Winegard SK-SWM3 Trav'ler DirectTV HD satellite dish deploying on top of an Itasca Sunstar 35B after power is turned on within the RV. It's geeky awesome and works great!! There's just something fun about watching the dish open up and search for satellites.

Can it work while in motion? Does it effect quality? Obviously wanting to keep height in mind.

David Alexandrovitch No, in order to use a satellite dish while in motion, you would need to use one of their in motion series which looks like a plastic bubble on the roof. The satellite dish is inside the bubble and will track toward a satellite when you are driving. Even then, I’ve heard sometimes they temporarily lose signal when you make turns.
