While I never hired a coach, I have some Challenger friends in LOL that invite me to some normals from time to time. Those matches have been the best learning experiences I've had and made me play more effectively. At that time it helped me move from Gold 3 to Plat 2 in one season (this was during the time where there were 5 divisions in each rank). So if you can't actually pay for a coach, cause I know the feeling of not having the money to spend on that. I would recommend finding some high elo players that are willing to give you some tips or would be willing to play some matches with you. But please don't just spam request every high elo player you can and remember that they are taking time out of their day to help you for free, so give them that respect they deserve. Good luck to all ya'll in your goals to rank up in whatever game you're playing
Great content, congrats. To add to that, I would love to see a video at some point, answering the question "Does a good coach necessarily need to be a gifted player?". Something like "does a financial consultant need to be rich, to be a good one?". Sometimes it feels like only skilled players are allowed to dispatch tips and maybe good mentors are not listened because they didn't get the best rank in game.
Imo I don't think that it has to be someone who is gifted at the game that has to coach you to improve. Though I would also mention that most coaches should be within the top 5-10% of the game's active playerbase, as that'll show that they have the knowledge to provide the correct techniques in a coaching session. Heck, I think some of the best coaches aren't the crazy talented players and it could be that the coach could have personal physical restrictions that effects their ranking (i.e. having a slightly lower reaction time to those gifted players). Plus those that are gifted at the game could have learned it through instinct and could have a tough time properly communicating how to improve in a coaching session
Also as a side note just for the giggles, I used to be a stockbroker and would definitely say that the richest financial advisors tend to just be the best salesperson. I worked on the trade desk dealing with daytraders and explaining more complex trading strategies (mostly involving option trading) and whenever I talked with our financial advisors I was surprised at how much they didn't know about the stock market in general. Lol
In pubg for example. A combat expert who knows how to use terrain to their advantage. And who know about infantry formations and when different formations should be applied. Might have something to contribute to a struggling team
I kept thinking about getting coaching, but I get concerned that it too will not help, and as well as schedule conflicts between play and actual work at my job. Or because of work, I should remain Retired. I did do a free sample, but even then, it still didn’t work out. And besides that, all other players have a better chance than I do anyway.
Hey man I would like to know your opinion on the games out there and do you thing that we are in could time on games because we don’t see any good games out there and not much of competitive games
@@akshatpratik1167 why exactly fro my english or for my dream if don't agree ok you're opinion keep it fro you're self i don't care about you're opinion or you

I hired 4k elo coach in cs go. Honestly Im disappointed you can get the same things free on UA-cam. Wasted money for me and it didn't improved my game sense at all.
In my case… I finally realized the Real Truth… if I did hire or spend money on a Gaming Coach or several… I’d be toss away my money and maybe even be racking up Debt. Similar to a Gambling Debt.
Or, perhaps you're too old, and need to drop the dream of individual success, in gaming. Maybe, you have reached your maximum potential, and are heading (slowly & steadily) away from the peak that you had... years ago... Now, it's time for you to BECOME a coach. Spend more time learning, and less time playing. Become the competition, for the current eSports coaches... whether you went pro, or not. Study their strats, psychology, mindsets, and teaching methods... and come out with counter strategies of your own. Continue playing, casually... and teach your friends. Build your own team. You could also have a baby; and teach him/her how to play Valorant, starting at age five. Don't send them to public school. Home school them, for the bare minimum of SAT content is. Teach them street smarts, necessary every-day knowledge that is needed, to live... and potentially go pro, at 13. If they decide that they don't like the idea of pro gaming, then increase their home schooling hours... or banish them, to the public school system. One semester of standardized tests... and they'll decide to come back to the road to eSports success. Kids that start at ages of 5-6 generally end up on the road to success. Another option, is becoming a content creator. Become the competition of the proguides guys & eAthlete Labs... instead of becoming reliant on them. Perhaps, hire a coach, that will teach you the ins and outs of coaching. Focus on helping others reach their full potentials... and forget about your dream of going pro, yourself.
@@laur-unstagenameactuallyca1587 Care to elaborate? What prompted such a negative response? I was just being bluntly honest, with my opinion. I suppose that it takes an above average IQ to appreciate that.
The kid one is actually not mentally okay. Maybe you think it's one of those things they'll thank you later about, but some people want to have the option in what to actually do with their life. Please don't force your kid to do something they didn't ask for. Maybe enroll them or teach them different things, like art, gaming, singing, piano, volleyball, and if they don't like it, they'll tell you. And if they do, they'll tell you to. Understand that some kids don't want to dedicate their life to gaming and help them with whatever they need help with.
Check if some of your favorite pros have coaching sessions. Some do casually coach on the side, but it might be expensive. You could also ask some of the content creator's in whatever game your looking to get coaching in if they know of a reputable coach. Some won't know, but some might or might give you a connection to someone who can help.
I mean if you don't really take the game seriously then of course it's a waste of money. If you genuinely want to improve and are willing to give it a bit of money for it to work, I'd say it's a very viable option, similar to how you would pay someone to teach you an instrument or something
Most of the coaches are waste of money. I can speak from LOL prospective. Most of the coaches are like plat/diamond. This is too low elo to be involved in Esports. Gamer Sensei/Pro guides/Skillcapped are the most worthless. Its like getting rich fast scheme. No player looking to get better will go there.
@@martintsanov4341 Charla7an is the best one that I've seen offering coaching. I've seen two different top agent tear lists, from two guys at pro guides. They're not even on the same page, and just push massive amounts of content... which is usually just filled with news, and their opinions. I still watch proguides free stuff, but would never consider paying them. Don't they have a 30 day, money back guarantee... if you don't increase by one full rank tear? I wouldn't even likely just get the 30 days & demand refund.
@@Merk_you it's only useful when your in sports and 99.99999% of gamers are not in esports. I mean you could get one for normal gaming, but you could just practice yourself, getting a coach feels like a low level move.
