As a big fan of post apocalyptic games I REALLY like how they turned out. They would work great in This Is Not A Test, The Last War, Stargrave, or even Star Wars.
Could have been cool to take the arms stocks and barrels from the Afghan warriors but use the actions from the stargrave kits along with your bead work and head swaps to make a more hand crafted modern gun look.
Wow, these look phenomenal! I love the muzzle burn especially, it adds another level of storytelling. I do have a piece of advice. Temporarily laying a super thin plastic like plastic wrap over the surface of the milliput before you shape it with a tool makes the marks more cohesive.
Perry Miniatures also sells some sprues separately, usually the one with the command options. So, depending on the kit, you might be able to acquire a couple bodies and a fair number of spare bits for very little. Good for trying out before buying the full kit, or for kitbashing. (A couple sprues have casualties, which are good for basing).
Yup, I usually use ebay where you can buy single sprues, so I'll buy one or two copies for an array of kits. A lot cheaper if you only need a handful of models
Yeah, the white milliput is the superfine variant, it appears I grabbed the wrong box for that one shot. Tbh the regular yellow one isn't really good for sculpting as it gets quite crumbly
@@thecavyforge7307 i think the way we could use the yellow one is to make rough shapes like the actual bodies. then work on details with white. i agree yellow is quite rough for detail work. i ll try sculpting something with them myself again, great job 👏🏻
@@thecavyforge7307 hell ya! I suggest looking at the concept art for some of the games. Also Fallout has a table top skirmish game called Fallout Wasteland Warfare
This is a combination of two kits mostly. The bodies are from 'Perry Miniatures Afghan warriors' while the heads are from 'Stargrave mercenaries' from NorthStar Games
Stargrave and Frostgrave kits are the *best* for kitbashing
They really are!

Mr. Algorithm recommended me this and I am in love
This was so much fun to watch. Such a creative and economic way to make some incredibly unique minis. Love it.
These are great!
Wow gräeat stuff.

Really love your stuff. Thanks
The frostgrave cultist kit would work well for this sort of thing.
great conversions!

Ooh I will have to give that trick a try at some point, thanks bud
These could be used also as a sort of Tusken raiders proxies, or similar. Nest ideas, you could also add some modern/WWII 's weapons modified ad hoc.

Great idea with the milliput looks very convincing. ever tried doing the same with superfine variation?

Hey they remember me the guys of the game Highfleet.
Now you need a brick to add guns a rockets and you will have the sevastopol ship with its crew
I'd love to make a sevastopol but it would be a gaming table unto itself XD
Reminds me of concept art from Fallout 3
I was aiming for somewhere between star wars, fallout and dune

Noice
Must ask where did you get the kit and what company did you get it from

Where did you get the heads form
They are mostly from the stargrave mercanery sprue from North star games
