I wanted to ask this in ep 3 but didn't since i saw this new video: Why productivity modules in uranium production? Woudn't it be better to have speed modules to speed up the cycles for the shiny rock? Or at least efficiencies since prod modules slow down the machine. The benefit of prods is that you get free materials, but downside is you need to scale it up and since you kept to 2 centrifuges, prods were bad imo. What are your thoughts on using rocket launcher to kill biter bases? I do it via shooting 2 rockets at biter base (that is enough to kill it), then pick another base. Once large group of biters are close to me, I run to a pre-built group of turrets that mow them down. I can see the convenience from lazors but most of my bases are powered by coal, efficiency modules and dreams.
Concerning uranium: i doesn't really matter. All you need is 40 u-235 to start kovarex. And based on experience i knew by the time i start building the nuclear power plant i will have 40 no matter the modules used. Rocket launchers work well, i did it in the past. But it's just a different variation of laser turret creep strategy. And i prefer poison capsules. If you use gun turrets instead: i can't really use this strategy because i don't research any gun turret upgrades after phys damage lvl 1.
not sure to see the point of the dedicated power network to insert and remove the nuclear fuel cell cause like, if there is a blackout, the roboports would go down too, and bots wouldnt be able to deliver the fuel cells, so it feels a tad pointless? (though in a belted design it makes sense imo)
If something goes wrong the requester chests will still contain 10 fuel cells which will last for over 30 minutes. Since lasers have energy priority over every other entity the base can still easily defend itself with lasers. Example: you have 80GW solar and 1.4 GW nuclear. If during night you run out of accumulator charges everything will break down but you still have 1.4 GW laser power.

lasers are way too powerful even without sience research
You should add a steam storage to your nuclear reactors and disable the reactors if they are filled. You would safe soooo much uranium...

I never bother - once the Kovarex process is up and running, I end up making atomic bomb rockets just to use up the excess U235
