I love this video. I just ordered this yarn and I plan to make many versions of the necklace for gift giving. Thank you so much for posting this video.

I love it! What size hook do I use?
Hi Lilyann Ross ,We used a size I-9 hook in the video, but since gauge isn't super important, a size up or down (an H or J) would work fine too. Happy crocheting!
what do you mean wrap around your elbow
Hi Angel,
To do this, hold one end in your hand (I'm right handed, and I usually hold the loose end in my left hand). With your other hand (my right), take the length of chain and pull it behind your arm, under your elbow, and in front of your arm back up to your hand, where you'll grab the strand and repeat. This method is often used for winding extension cords, rope, etc. Hope this helps!
Christina
How do you tie this off?
Finish off like you would a normal chain then weave in the ends.
Thank you for watching.

It reminds me of a scarf not a necklace.
It does. Especially if the more strands you do.
Thank you for watching.

What size hook did you use?
Hi Ann - We used a size I-9 crochet hook. Here is the written pattern in case you need it: www.maggiescrochet.com/pages/city-life-necklace-free-crochet-pattern
