Hi Connie, I used a 5.5mm ( 9/I ) in the video, but you can use whatever size hook that suits your style of crochet ... I'm so pleased you like them :-D

What size is the hole in the bead and where to get the bead?
Hi Charlotte, the wooden leopard print beads I used are approximately 12mm with about a 5mm hole... You can get any type of bead that you prefer. I do sell the leopard print ones that I used in my Etsy shop ... This is the link to them etsy.me/2ANNPlv .... But any type of bead as long as it's not too heavy

No Lori, as long as you can get all your threads through you can use whatever size you like.
@@TillyDouglas thank you!! I love this idea. I found some ladder yarn that I had lying around and also some seed beads in a matching color, so I'm experimenting with putting some of the seed beads on some strands. I'll post a pic when I'm finished!
