Best bluetooth speaker under £100? Bogasing M4 is pretty much my champion for the £50/$60 dollar mark. Offering decent bass for its size and cheap price. Here I compare it to a popular clone of the Bogasing M4, the Xdobo Wake 1983 speaker. Tested for volume, bass and sound quality. Best budget speaker for 2022?

the maxsound plus doesnt do pairing but the newer one will. i would think the m4 will beat out the boost.

@@alanrossreviews yeah, after I left that comment I cranked it up. It sounds good but the flip5 sounds brighter with less bass and the charge5 pretty much destroys it. It sounds good but missing some dynamics. It reminds me of the first Soundlink mini.
But wasnt that a little boombox as in all bass?
@@alanrossreviews it really depends on the type of music being played. There is quite a bit of bass and the mids seem okay but it’s as if the digital processing is constantly adjusting. Not the pumping processing of old but keeping a cap on high frequencies. I hope this made sense. There is also a vent covering the passive radiator on the rear that if covered will distort badly if covered. Maybe a firmware update will address the highs that a tweeter could have addressed.

Another great comparison Alan,try Urbanears 'ralis' 45w speaker,impressive true deep bass,reduced from £169 to £49.99 now at HMV online,think you may be impressed mate and i am sure it will blow many other speakers at this price point away if you choose to try it.

I do know why it is called 1983, as this company was under another name back in time (seriuop) and they had exactly a design like this but powered by mains and speaker cables. So it needed an amp. Now this is the wireless version but with xdobo as brand name.

It looks like they faked the 50w that doesn't appear on the website and it looks like the sound quality is worse as seen on another channel, just opening and comparing 50w fake vs 50w true. The 40w the sound seems better than the 50w fake according to the video from another channel.

The Aoimas Go Mini was my sub $50 champ last year.
Testing out a $68 refurb Soundcore Motion select pro from eBay... So far so good.
maxsound cant match the m4 but will hold its own against the others

A xdobo wake 1983 50w is fake compare with 40w?
watts has no meaning in the modern world with these speakers. its terrible how they play fast and loose with the marketing.
