Hey, gorgeous in today's video I want to talk about how and why your skin starts purging with more breakouts when you use a new product.
More often than not people believe that a product is not working because they will start purging. Truth be told, purging is usually a good sign that the active product you are using is working.
When using an active product, it will unclog and clear out the follicle releasing trapped oil and bacteria in the skin to the surface.

Any advice for someone who is sensitive to L-Ascorbic Acid? I can hit the retinol & retinal pretty hard and I’m fine, but vitamin C makes me look sunburned. So I’m looking for any anti-aging regime (almost 50 yrs old here) that will help what vitamin c would typically do. Also I’m loving your content! Keep the info coming !
Great question, I wonder if it is only certain formulas. Some options may be ethyl ascorbic acid, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, or possibly niacinamide, Kojic acid, alpha arbutin, licorice root as ingredient options for brighteners
Hi Cody! It's been 9 weeks since I started tretinoin and I still get whiteheads and some cystoc acnes. At this time do you think I can use chemical exfoliant? I am not peeling anymore. And also, how many months before noticing the acne marks fades?
Hey, I was watching your vids and you said about activating your hydroquinone with Vitamin c, can I use Azelaic acid as well? So wash face then Vitamin c then Azelaic acid then Hydroquinone? Thanks in advanced.

It’s normal for your skin to purge or have more breakout during the process. You may spot treat with a salicylic acid solution. We have on in our line and it helps with inflammation and minimizing active breakouts as well as future ones. Please be very careful and good about using sunscreen

I was using a salicylic acid toner for over a month and after 3 weeks ago in the space of 3 days my face became red inflamed with rashes .. I’ve been depressed and please I need help! I’ve seen a dermatologist and I’ve been given injections yet my face is still red and inflamed but all the rashes are gone.. please sir how can I calm my red inflamed face 😢
Try cold compresses or even Aloe Vera. Hope you find this useful.
