💀 Hey Skeleton Crew! Let us know which song has the most , which song has the most , and drop the time code of your favorite licks! Oh, and say hi to if you see him ;)
When I was in high school, Larry Hartke ran his infamous “give me a call” ad in Bass Player magazine. I called him, got a voicemail. He called me back the next day. I told him my parents got me a Hartke cab and GK head for Christmas for my first “real rig” and he was like “your parents gave great taste!” We chatted for a solid 15-20min, then he sent me a letter telling me about all the other rock bassists who use Hartke and GK. He didn’t have to spend that much time talking to some kid who just started playing, but I’ll always have SOME Hartke gear based on that experience so I guess it worked.
I had the 1000 watt version......very powerful. Blew at an outdoor gig a few years back. The good people at Hartke/Samson never returned any of my emails regarding service. It's now a door stop.
@ they are powerful and good sounding amps I believe they are class a very heavy but like all lamps they do have their quirks. I bought another one as well as a 500 W version. I’m a glutton for punishment. They do the job until they don’t do the job :-) but I’ve had that with just about every brand I’ve ever owned. Good luck!
I play this exact setup live: LH1000 + 410 Cab + darkglass alpha omicron + Thunderbird Goth bass. I don't have experience with fancier gear, but everybody seems to like the tone.
Hey there! Awesome review.! The PE-5 sounds amazing! Wow :) Quick question: if I connect the LH1000 up to an 800W @ 8ohm speaker cabinet, will this generate problems in your opinion? I obviously don't want to harm the cabinet, but since the rated output power for the LH1000 in Bridge Mode is 1 x 750 watts @ 8 ohms, in theory it should be safe...right? Thanks for any advice.
Awesome demo, jayme! 😎🎸🤘🏻 I’ve always loved hartke amps and this amp sounds awesome. It’s simple yet versatile. I actually own a hartke lh500 and it sounds just as versatile as the lh1000. Obviously the difference is the wattage. Other than that, it’s a great sounding amp. Especially with the darkglass pedal. It’s sounds absolutely killer. And the cabinets sounds phenomenal. As much as I like the 4x10, I really dig the 1x15. Especially since I’ve been hooked on 1x15 cabs for a couple years. I really dig the tones I get from it. Still I like 4x10 cabs also. Other than that, great review on the amp. 😎
Ha. I've played almost every state with Hartke cabs, heads etc.. it always keeps things clear and edgy. Best match I've had yet is 2 of the Hartke HD 1-12 s and 1 of the HL 2-10S. Good lows without too boomy. .and great top end. Reliable too. I've used Hartke since around 1999.
Been a Hartke user for a looong time... Had one of my amps since 92’ used & toured thoroughly over the years & never had it serviced, Still kicks out some serious power... JS...
Great video Jayme Hartke have definitely stepped tree game up, they are making some fantastic gear 👌🏽🔥🔥🤙🏽🎸 you are definitely one of my favourite bassists man you can groove 🔥🔥👌🏽
I had one for 10 years. Had one of the power amps start to die in it. Sucked because I’ve been on fence of trying something knew or getting the same thing. Loved it when it worked

Hartke has been legit for a long time. Toured the states multiple times over with a LH1000 and it always did the job.

I gig most weekends. I've been using an LH500 for the past year as my main amp. Great clean power, takes outboard gear extremely well.

Im currently going through the RMA process. It sucks. I still don't have my amp back because it's sat at the dudes shop for over a month

Es mi sueño tener algun dia ese equipo Hartke 😢
It’s a cheaper more simple SVT7pro. Can you comment on how it compares to the 7pro?
I'm always happy to see Hartke on the backline
haha

The line on the Ibanez was sick
Tech 21 Steve Harris pedal preamp matches up real well with its meat and potatoes approach.

With those basic controls, it's like a 1000w practice amp
Ok, I need to see that "jazz" video now :D
WOW THAT DOLLY
and damn dolly is still alive and kicking haha
That could've been done "pre construction".
Man ! those inserts are just so annoying. Didn't even finish the video.
Came to say the same. (and read comments about how "pro" this vid is)... 🤣
What is this just sales channel? I think so! Give me a break!
Country bassist here...
❌ 1. 4 string P-bass (5 string J and a Warwick Corvette Std 5)
❌ 2. Tube amp (Mark Bass LM800)
❌ 3. 15" speaker (two Mark Bass 102P cabs)
Swinganamiss on all of them. UGH!
Huh?
OK compared to ampegs ...with metal music.
I've read reviews of it being unreliable and stop working.
I'm on the fence with it.
