Satisfying crunch, sounded like sugar asmr haha! I think I will try this but add peach or apple flavoring, and make the pieces small because it looks so sweet!! Thank you for posting! Loved this recipe :)
@@sabinearmada2855 i don't know exactly how long. Because in Vietnam i dry it outside. I haven't try it in Australia yet. But with oven very very low setting 50 to 100 °c have the door lightly open can be 7 to 9 hours or more. Until the sugar crystallized outside like that.
Good question! Any relatively dry and clean room is okay. You don't need to cover anything. If you have any mesh food cover, that would be perfect but it is not necessary! I dried mine on the kitchen counter top. I moved the baking sheet when I need to use the kitchen 😅 If you have any dry and clean place where you can keep it for a week then that would be better.
I'm sorry, I know it's been a while but, do you let them dry outside or in the fridge? I don't live in a cool environment country like Japan or the US so I'm not sure if it won't spoil if I let it dry just outside the fridge
I have yet to make this candy and it crystallize. Hardly anyone puts measurements for how much sugar and agar agar so I have to guess. Or they do have measurements and it still doesn’t work out.

Do the crystals need to be flipped or moved around when drying them out? I've left them in a cool dry place for 4 days and some of them have hard bits while others are still fully soft
Do you have a cupboard where the ants can't go? Maybe you can put them in the fridge and flip the pieces once everyday. The surface should dry from the fridge air. It might take longer or shorter than a week. I've put cooked rice in the fridge because I needed it to dry out a bit for frying.
Good question. 2-3 weeks from the time they've hardened! Some people say they last for 4 weeks. If you keep them right, they last longer :) But better eaten soon of course!!!
I'd probably eat it all before it was finished 😆 I love jelly candies
Like my son 😂
I love this Kohakutou come-back 😍
this looks so cool! and with few ingredients too. i can’t wait to try it 😃
Have fun!

Great idea for kids' party
Yes 😊
It looks so beautiful!!!!
It really is! I thought kids mixed too many colors but turned out great 😊 If you use one tone, I believe it would be much better!!!
mm that satisfying crunch! 😋
Yes! Amazing 2 different textures :)
This is one I will try out, thanks
Hope you enjoy 💎
Thank you❤
Thankyou very much teach for this recipey
They look so pretty!! Definitely wanna try 🥰

Sounds great! Well,I wrote in the description box that the sweetness becomes very mild after a week! Trust me :)
This is so cool!
Yes fun :)
Can you make this without agar agar or gelatin instead?
I didn’t know jellies will harden like that omg.. thanks for this video, really informative 😃
You’re welcome 😊
Do you dry to open air or in a container?
Can you make it without adgar adgar powder?
I think you can dry it under intense sun or dehydrate machine or low heat oven... it will be quicker.
Yes, I think there are many ways to dry out!
Hi! How long do I have to put it in the oven?

1. where the place to dry the candy?
2. Is it in open plate or close with something?

Yummy
is there any replacements that u can use instead of agar agar powder¿
gelatin powder but with other proportions
will the sugar be melted after weeks storing it?
Will these hold up next to buttercream on a geode cake? Thx😃
can you make this with gelatin
yep
@@brichuwu9665 no you can’t, gelatin won’t hold up
These will be so amazing for my witchcraft setup for Halloween 🎃
Sounds perfect :)
i failed, 2 times, first time it came out of the fridge too liquidy, then too solid, then like a dough but super sticky like caramel
Same here I followed all her instructions step by step 🤦♀️
That’s why when people say do it at home for cheaper I’m like it never tastes the same and it never is like theirs
I have yet to make this candy and it crystallize. Hardly anyone puts measurements for how much sugar and agar agar so I have to guess. Or they do have measurements and it still doesn’t work out.
What agar agar brand do you use? :)
These look so cute and fun to make! Any tips as to where we should dry these jellies for best result? Thank you very much in advance!

@@ochikeron Thank you so much for responding! Sorry for the late reply. I'll follow your suggestions for sure now.
instead of water can I use juice
Do the crystals need to be flipped or moved around when drying them out? I've left them in a cool dry place for 4 days and some of them have hard bits while others are still fully soft
Yes. Please flip if you think they are not drying out well. It depends on climate 😅
What can I use instead of agar agar powder
How do we prevent ants from getting into the jelly that is being dried? :o
Do you have any place where you can prevent that?!
Do you have a cupboard where the ants can't go?
Maybe you can put them in the fridge and flip the pieces once everyday. The surface should dry from the fridge air. It might take longer or shorter than a week. I've put cooked rice in the fridge because I needed it to dry out a bit for frying.
I don’t have any parchment paper and I have tried it without it and it keeps rotting about 3 days in. Do you NEED parchment paper?
how to make the candy more crunchier???
Can I use gelatin instead of Agar agar?
Many people experiment this recipe with gelatin for summer project. The answer is NO. Because gelatin cannot stay firm at the room temperature.
@@ochikeron Thank you 😊
Is 2gm = 1 teaspoon in your country? Because 2 tsp = 10gms not 2gms.
Can i use pectin instead of agar agar. If noy what can i use instead?
That's a french dessert. Maybe you want to follow how to make Pâte de fruits instead of this one 😉
Wow now I see why it takes so long for them to make
I want to do this with my kids! One question: 2-3 weeks from the time they’ve hardened or 2-3 weeks once out of the fridge?
Good question. 2-3 weeks from the time they've hardened! Some people say they last for 4 weeks. If you keep them right, they last longer :) But better eaten soon of course!!!
Do i leave it out ? or put it in the fridge
Yes. Leave it out.
How about if I add flavor? What's a yummy flavour to do?
lemon, orange, maybe?
Hello!! Any replacements for agar-agar powder? I don’t have it
You need it unfortunately... to create this texture. If you search online, you can get it. Maybe on Amazon!?
@@ochikeron oh ok, thanks !
🥰🤗
Did you just let it air dry for a week after cutting?
Yes :)
Do you haft to use agar agar powder
Yes to create this texture.
😃
Where do you dry it
In the room is ok!
I made some yesterday, the texture was great but they left out a lot of water overnight and are still too liquidy now :(
What is agar agar powder?
Similar to Gelatin but made from red algae so it's safe for vegans to eat
How were you able to make them wait for 1 week and not eat everything before the jellies dried? 😂
delayed gratification! if you wait longer, they taste better!
This is why 300g (10.6oz.) sugar is not too much 😅
So easy to make, but hard to resist not eating during the drying time, especially with kids around 😂
I know. My son ate a few pieces every day to check if it is done. haha
Does anyone know if this works with just gelatin
Gelatin is something different. Gelatin has a different texture and it melts out the fridge.
سلام میشه مغزی مربایشو آموزش بدین خیلی دنباله این آموزشم اما پیداش نمیکنم
This is cool but i dont want to wait a week😭
What about adding flavor?
Absolutely okay 😊 Not fresh juices. Artificial flavors work the best.
How do you make it without agar agar 😪😪
gelatin powder
gelatin powder dont work
Mine is watery :(
Same 🤦♀️
I tried to make it before but it didn't turn out right. The recipe wasn't very detailed. I'll try your recipe 😊
Please try! Nothing difficult :)
Hi
Hi 😭

No flavour?
No. Basically you enjoy the texture and the color 😊 You can add flavor of course.
