Great job on the video! I love the idea of the french cleat but, in addition, you may want to consider securing the entire flag to the wall with screws as a "bad guy" could walk off with the whole thing.
Lol, I honestly had never thought about that. But, I agree, it would probably be a good idea to add a couple of screws to secure it to the wall. Thank you for checking out the video
Hey Eric. I install the slides onto the cabinet first. Then sit the flag on top and extend the slides out and attach. Tool Review Zone does a really job of showing this in their video that I highly recommend checking out: ua-cam.com/video/2a6lHx0DP8Q/v-deo.html Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
Hi Kevin, It's a pretty tight fit, but shouldn't be a problem. The cabinet drawer slides that I used (thd.co/2RfewIK) sat a tad over 1/2" above the cabinet which allowed the plywood to slide through without any issues.

Question: How do you figure out where to set you rails on the backside of the flag?

Where did you buy the RFID lock?
Hi Ryan, I purchased it off of Amazon: amzn.to/3JcfN8Q
The plywood on the back of the flag doesn’t get caught on the cabinet?
Hi Kevin,
It's a pretty tight fit, but shouldn't be a problem. The cabinet drawer slides that I used (thd.co/2RfewIK) sat a tad over 1/2" above the cabinet which allowed the plywood to slide through without any issues.
@@DIYLANE ok so either half inch or 1/4 plywood would work...I’m building a case right now and could figure this part out
Correct. 1/2" will fit pretty tight and might require some light sanding. 1/4" should fit with out any issues.
