  • I showed you how to make a stealth shelf before but that one was kind of a pain in the a$$. Here is a quicker simpler way to make one. I used a different lock on this one too.
    Slow open air spring : amzn.to/3E43j0q
    Motion Sensing Light : amzn.to/3m1rGG5
    Hinges : amzn.to/3FnwFrE
    RFID Lock : amzn.to/3JwhwHQ
    Magnetic Locks: amzn.to/3b37AVm
    Foam : amzn.to/32Ua1cJ
    I found the foam on Ebay under the description
    Customizable Polyethylene Foam Pads for packing and crafts, 1.5 in

    Luv it! Thanks for sharing. Although, I hate locks that click and beep when opening

      Hmm I wonder if there are silent ones? I know there are magnetic ones.

    I like the build. Did you show how to hang it or did I miss it?

      I guess I didn't. If you watch the end you can see two screws on either side of the light that go through the back piece.

    What type of wood did you start off with and measurements ?🤔

    • @LastLeafStudioVideo
      @LastLeafStudioVideo  11 місяців тому +4

      It's pine with a dark Walnut stain. I'm pretty sue the top measured 18" long x 10" wide plus the pieces around the edge. Sides of the bottom are 1x4 measured to fit inside the top with an 1/8" gap all around except the back.

    Where did you get the lock from? Do you have a link?

    Are you using the Ryobi brad nailer or pin nailer? Which one do you recommend?

    • @LastLeafStudioVideo
      @LastLeafStudioVideo  5 місяців тому +1

      This is the Brad nailer. I would actually recommend no nails for this project, but I am very impatient so I used them instead of clamping.

      Thanks for the info. I would rather build them faster too. Plus it would give more peace of mind that they won't come apart.

      You have to knock that corner off so it will close properly. Yeah I didn't do a good job showing that.
