The Mystery Ranch 2DAP is a fantastic / rugged / well-designed backpack... I bought one of these in the color of Coyote Tan back when they were being sold for a pricey $219, and I will be utilizing the pack this year during my summertime day-hikes and my occasional dirt bike riding trips out in Central Oregon.
I recently purchased the Mystery Ranch Catalyst 22L for my EDC bag, seems like they are very close in design. I'm not a huge fan of the PALS webbing on this version (hence why I went with the Catalyst), however, I have extremely jealous of the side water bottle pockets. The Catalyst has non-elastic pockets and does not fit a Nalgene water bottle, it's my only complaint about the bag. If they had used the pockets from the 2D Assault pack, it would've been perfect.
